No more bickering. Alert to the post you feel it is out of line, let a mod take care of it.

I, for one, am eagerly anticipating the prosecution grilling Casey on this, if the case ever goes to trial. But, maybe Casey can refuse to testify....

I think it will go to trial, because I can't imagine Casey ever admitting to anything. The pathological liars I have known stand by their stories till the bitter end.

OH my god. No lawyer worth his salt would ever let that woman testify. Every time she opens her mouth another outrageous lie falls out. They would need a broom to sweep them all up......any great prosecutor would pounce on her.

And George had called Lee before Casey and Cindy returned and said "I am worried about your mother" That is why Lee went to the house.
I heard Lee say at one point it was about the car and he didn't mention the mom, IIRC.

Just finished watching Greta's show about the case.

I live high in the mountains, the air is thin, I was dropped on my head as a kid a lot, I eat crappy food, so I am assuming due to the above I misheard when Cindy Anthony said:

CASEY IS GOING TO BE NAMED MOTHER OF THE YEAR WHEN THE TRUTH COMES OUT

Or words to that effect.

Did I hear correctly or is it the high altitude, dropped on my head, crappy diet problem again???

Just checking

i was just imagining Casey on the witness stand.. that would be suicide~ i doubt her lawyer would want her on the stand since she can't seem to tell the difference between the truth and a lie.

Which would make sense, if I was trying to get info from my kid, I would try anything that I could to get it myself before I had her arrested.
I think making that phone call to 911 to have Casey arrested probably was one of the hardest things Cindy has had to do. No mother wants to have to do that. MOO, of course. :)

Really? I thought i remembered Lee in an interview going through this whole explanation that it was common for his Dad to ask him to come over to get through family problems. I could have sworn he said "im worried about your mother". I think Cindy was starting to really freak out that Casey could not produce Caylee, the car, the smell, etc.

George & Cindy didn't know it had been impounded until they got a notice in the mail, as I recall. He then went to pick it up on 7/15. If the biological fluid is what I think it is, yes, it would still smell especially if the car had been sealed (windows up) in the heat for 2 wks.
So why did they wait two weeks?! The car was picked up on June 30th. The certified letter would have gone out the next day. The postman would have delivered it on July 2nd. He would have left the first notice. He would have tried again to deliver it on July 3rd or July 5th and left the second notice. So they waited TEN days after that to go get the certified letter telling them their car had been impounded? Why?

You're asking me to get inside their minds or explain why they didn't go get the car sooner? :D Originally I thought I heard Cindy say it took longer to get the notification because they weren't home, but what I do think is universal is that each day the car is at impound the more money it will cost to retrieve it. So it doesn't make much sense to let it sit there. I don't think they got the notice as soon as they should have.
