I was thinking this morning that maybe she buried her on a beach.

I think that Tony told LE that he picked Casey up on the 25th from Amscot and that the tow company records say that they towed it on the 27th. Confirmation?

So if they TOWED it on the 27th, then most likely it had been sitting there for a while before. Not many businesses will tow on the same day they notice a car in their lot, just in case it's a customer. They'll usually wait a few days, 3-4 maybe, just to be sure that it has been abandoned. Depending on whether George actually DID see her on the 24th, it could have been sitting there for quite some time.

The employees at Sawgrass were shown pictures of Casey. No one recognized her.

I'm still thinking she could've been inside the office, but not looking for a job, just to find out what apts. were vacant and maybe changed her appearance from what LE has shown them photos of her.

I don't think she applied for a job anywhere... I think she was enjoying life in "Casey-land"

Does anybody find it strange that George new just what Casey and Caylee were wearing the last time he say them? I don't even remember what my family was wearing yesterday. Let alone the amount of time he did.

I just questioned that too. According to him it was just another ordinary afternoon (paraphrased) so what made it so special he'd remember what she had on? I could see it if she was wearing a uniform to work and those were her work pants, but otherwise it doesn't make sense! I'm pretty observant with people, but I couldn't tell you almost 2 months later what someone was wearing!

I think I suggested this theory at some point, but I was thinking she is the one who killed Caylee, be it by accident or on purpose, and led the police there so they would find Caylee in the areas surrounding the apartment. I think she thought the police would just take her word and immediately search the area. Then whatever happened after that, they found out no Zaneida...whatever....I think she thought this Zaneida really lived there, she probably glanced in the windows of her car and got the name from anything, it's possible. I don't think that Casey ever thought they would just pass off her statements. Think about it, she did not go out of her way to come up with that name in THAT place. It was part of a plan. I would bet my next paycheckCaylee is very close to those apartments, if not in the lake in the middle of them. IMO

GUYS I TRULLY APOLOGISE IF I WAS SOMEHOW MISUNDERSTOOD --- I did not mean for a second that I consider the nanny responsible for anything or that the nanny existed or anything. I meant exactly what you suspicious mind said above. :waitasec:

When I said Casey is telling the ''truth'' I meant there is INFO, a LEAD in her words when she says the police are not listening to her, if they listen to her. I did not mean there was a nanny living there responsible for this somehow. Or that someone else did something to the child, Casey learned about it, and trying to give messages to the police. No no no.

Only meant that taking them to that specific building and then kicking and screaming because her obviously fake story is not listened, it is because nothing played out the way she thought it would. Perhaps this is why she kept saying Caylee will be back for her birthday? The time frame? Because she was thinking that there were enough days for the police to do a search around that building? As for the nanny and how the name was picked I don't think is that important now. It could be freakish coincidence of Casey choosing a common name and someone visiting the apartment with that name, or like you said somehow Casey finding out that info and using it.

I hope really hope they are thorougly checking every corner of that building and its surrounding area.

I think that would be hard to get away with, unless she knows of a really private beach area around or near Cocoa Beach. From Daytona, all the way south of Melbourne Beach, there are miles and miles of condos, hotels, beach shops and restaurants. Way too many people lining the beach in some way or another for her to take that chance...( IMO)

I've known some businesses in strip malls that will have a car towed after a few hours and they have signs posted to that effect. I'm not sure about where she left her car, but I recall it being mentioned it had been there about 3 days.

My 2 sons left here about two hours ago and I couldn't tell you anything either of them had on..

Maybe the fact George is (ret.) LE has something to do with it though....aren't they supposed to be observant and detail oriented?

And, George was in LE and security.... He may have more of an eye for stuff like that...

I agree that this is a possibility. We've seen from her pictures that she sometimes wears ballcaps, changes hairstyles frequently, etc... Also, several weeks had lapsed between June 17 and the day LE interviewed the Sawgrass employees. I work in the public, and there's no way I could say for sure whether or not I saw someone 3-4 weeks before.

Yes, but that usually happens much closer to the event itself. Oh well, I guess he's just got a good memory!

I had a thought. For weeks now, we've all been trying to figure this thing out by looking at it from the start of the timeline, to the time she was arrested. I wonder if it would give us a different perspective, or give us different ideas about this, if we looked at it the opposite. Meaning from the time she was arrested, backing up to the time she went missing...maybe we may spot something by looking at the timeline in reverse.

I don't know. Think of it this way. What were your loved ones wearing July 1st? Thats what it would be like. Not the 4th of July But any random day. It had been a large amount of time before they realized that Casey was more than just calling their bluff or whatever she was doing. It just seems odd to me. Almost as if they are trying to hard to make her look innocent.

This is a girl who lived with them and they THOUGHT she had a job. They don't pay a whole lot of attention. Or am I wrong on that. Did they know themselves she was in fact not at Universal?

Truthfully... I have a memory like that, so it's not weird to me at all....

Tony said she called him from there on the 25th to pick her up. I think that if Tony is correct on the date, then we can safely assume she parked it there on the 25th.

That's what I'm thinking. I see people come in to the rental office where I work all the time, some picking up applications, some just asking questions and I couldn't tell you who was there over a month ago, especially if I was busy at the time taking care of other people. Another thing about the particular apt. Casey picked that Zenaida was supposed to live in, I wonder who lived there before and if Casey knew them? I really do think she's got some connection with that complex.

True, I have a friend like this. She does drive me crazy. She'll say something like. "Oh you wore that to the recital on Wed, you know with the black skirt.:crazy:
