Hi, I am new here, I have been lurking for a while. Sorry if this is out of context in the General Discussion but I was reading a while back someone asking about Caylee's dispostion. It made me remember a posters info on myspace posts by Casey.

I wondering if Caylee as she was growing into a little girl, just required too much of Casey's attention now, attention she usually wanted for her own endeavors..i.e. social life. I think things were fine when she was a "baby" she could play dress up, show her off to her friends etc..but as kids grow they need more interaction which I think just got too much for Casey.

Just my speculations!:twocents::twocents::twocents:

I think it's mostly about money. Not wanting to live on her own and pay child care. Also not wanting to live on her own and not be able to party during the week. Not wanting to put in hard work to get a degree or even keep a job. Maybe the Anthony's really didn't want custody and wanted Casey to be more responsible so that they could travel and go out on weekends.

As I said right before the other thread was closed, I think it was outrageously cruel of Casey to say Caylee would be home by her birthday.

Fox News showed a very brief clip of George in the driveway, holding a beautifully framed picture of Caylee and thanking the person who sent it. He choked up a bit as he thanked the person. He said he wanted to acknowledge those who have sent things, to let them know they've received them and appreciate the kindness. In the background, there were balloons.

omg, you are killing me today

I agree, I don't put much stock in the fact that she may look scared in that nursing home picture. She might not have known him well...

Can't verify if santa smells funny or not, though. I'm just gonna assume he does. It's been a while since I've seen him:)

From what Fox reported tonight, Casey's parents are going to visit her in jail tomorrow just to show their support and love for her! Geez, I think if that was my child I'd go there with the intent to beat the crap out of her! She has lied and lied and lied. To give this family hope knowing it isn't going to happen is totally unacceptable. This Casey really needs someone who can literally strong arm her little butt! Can I do it? PLEASE!

Remember how elated George was after Casey told him that? She's alive! She's close! We are going to have a big party! That wasn't his exact words, but you get the drift. No wonder the guy was pissed off on Friday. Casey just keeps proving how cold hearted she is.

Yes, heartbreaking!
Yes she's cold hearted alright, and evil. imho.

George should go and visit and have a fit toward Casey. And tell her enough already, tell me the truth!

And I bet selfish Casey thinks it was outrageously cruel of her family not to bond her out for Caylee's birthday.

You hit the target on that one. I think that's why the birthday target -- Casey wanted to be bonded out of jail no matter how much it cost her parents -- their home and their future income. I'm really glad somebody called a halt to the pledge all of our property, life savings and retirement plans and bail-her-out idea.

It sure was. It gave the gps such hope and optimism, you could see it in their eyes, and hear it in their voices.

Very cruel.
Casey seems to have no soul. Very scarey to me.

It was awful for Cindy, George and Lee - it's like she's afraid they'll turn on her or quit believing in her, so she keeps dropping tidbits... and of course, like any normal, loving parent - they want to believe the best in her. One thing I'm reminded of many times when reading the criticisms of these 3 ppl closest to Casey is that the very thing they have been (seemingly) giving her is their unconditional love and support...which is the very thing all of us also wish that Casey had been able/would be able to give to little Caylee... so maybe ppl shouldn't be so hard on them... the people that have been around her for the past 2-3years ( her friends )
will be the ones that have been telling the investigators all of her dirty little secrets that have been going on for the past 2-3 years

they will be the ones that help get this solved
even friends probably think this has gone on long enough

another week at the most

and this will be over

I sure hope you're right. In the affidavit, a few of the friends mentioned were not happy with Casey, calling her a habitual liar. The friends she was involved with - Tony, Amy, Ricardo, and others aren't talking to the media, but I think they're talking to LE.

LE will have to charge Casey with something more by August 17th, next Saturday, or Jose Baez will probably be able to have Casey's bond reduced.

My oldest daughter didn't like Santa, The Easter Bunny, and especially clowns. I heard later that anyone with a mask doesn't look right to little kids.

In my opinion, the unconditonal love should be directed toward the one who deserves it, CAYLEE!

$45,000 is a lot of money, any thoughts on where it all went or did I miss that also? LOL

Agreed. I feel terrible for that family. I've been following this matter since the news initially broke weeks ago and have been lurking here on WS ever since . . . and no matter what anyone says, or what I myself think at time when playing the devil's advocate to analyize, I am just so darn sad for the whole family. Beyond words...

I do too...except I keep banging the drum that these people need to get OUT of the media spotlight for their own sanity. Rather than banging about for personal assistants, the best investment they could ever make is to hire or negotiate a deal with a professional PR person to represent them. It would gradually reduce the negative perception the family has by the public for their inaccuracies and inconsistencies, and it would also protect more of their privacy. They'd also have time to be able to focus on that family getting Casey to talk with them and seperate them from their daughter's actions and the overwhelming setiment about her.

I only say this because it is in their very best interests given the current stituation.

I feel for the family too. You know they adored that precious child.
They are living out a nightmare. They want to believe Casey. Yet, they , better than anyone, know her history of lies, etc.

I pray for the family to be strong enough to endure all they're up against.

Well some of it might have come out of bank accounts and/or credit cards. Cash is harder to track unless it's a substantial amount.

That's the 1st I've seen that ..who is he???

I'm leaving it to LE to rule out any cover ups being done by the Anthony's. I know some parents are so obsessed over a kid that they will put them before anyone else, even grandchildren. I can't forget about the hair dresser who said Cayley had bruises on her leg, body, and a mark under her eye. I don't know the Anthony's, so I don't know what they're really like, if they're decent people, or what they would do. There's just a missing helpless toddler and a bunch of tail chasing behavior going on by the whole lot of them.

I get the feeling that Casey was really excited to move out on her own and be able to conduct herself in a manner that might have not gone over so well with the parents. I also feel her (Casey's) parents would have been more than happy to have Caylee and raise her, the whole house is set up for Caylee, she was the only Grandbaby, from Cindy's myspace post about her not seeing Caylee, it sounds as if she so wished Caylee was safe and at home with them. I think she walked a fine line between Casey's jealousy, immaturity and selfishness and what she knew was best for Caylee, I think she only kept Casey in line per se by threatening to take Caylee away and cutting Casey off.

All pure speculation on my part, the hard thing is just knowing that there were options for Casey and no reason for Caylee to be in the situations I am sure Casey put her.

The BIG problem with their media interviews is the prosecutor in this matter can use all these statements against them, assuming there is going to be a trial. The prosecutor will use every contradictory statement! Casey's attorney is totally cringing because he cannot undo what is already done here.
