If Casey and someone else conspired to keep Caylee from Cindy, what law has been broken? Casey has every right to leave her child with whomever she wants and doesn't have to tell anyone. It's her kid. I think the attitude of the cops further give Casey cause, in her own mind, to continue this charade. jmo
I think her friend(s) are laughing their heads off at all the drama. jmo
Filing a false report is a crime. Lying to LE about where your child is and a horde of other statements she made is a crime. Not telling what you know about this crime and therefore impeding any investigation (once she files a report it is now considered a crime) is also a crime.

Well actually it just depends on where in the country you live. Here in the Raleigh, NC area prices for a 2 bedroom range from $600 to $800 for an average complex. For one of the high end complexes, it's more like $1200 and for the less appealing section of town it's still $400-500. Based on the research I've done on Orlando, FL I would say that the area is comparable to where I live as far as the cost of living - so $600-800 for an apartment doesn't mean it's "roach infested". That being said, I do recall someone on here (a local) saying that the area of town the Sawgrass apartments is in, is not the "best" area of town.

Thanks for clearing that up. Yes, I do believe that Floridas cost of living is a little lower than here in DC.. I'm wondering if Casey just made up that address to have an opportunity to "swing" past Amy's house.. (who apparently lived across the street from Sawgrass with Casey's ex-boyfriend Riccardo.. at least I think that's his name). This info was in the Affidavit. Maybe she just wanted to see if Amy's car was parked there?? I don't know, Casey did leave a comment on Amy's myspace page while Cindy was making the 911 call and said something like "You better not be online, Life is on hold until tomorrow" (not an exact quote, I'm typing from memory here)

Is that fact that they found body fluids in the trunk?? Just wondering, I haven't heard that..

I think in court the detectives said the stain that showed up under the blacklight were "possibly" body fluids. We're still waiting for the results from the tests that are being done. The fact that more complicated equipment was brought in after the preliminary results doesn't sound too good though.

Yes, I agree.. that's not good news. I hope they are wrong for Caylees sake.

The girl does resemble Caylee but she looks a little older than Caylee.. The hands seem to look larger than Caylees...

wow...

ok ...not that i'm a huge fan of conspiracy theories but...

in regards to Sawgrass

Suppose, Casey got mixed up with some bad people who were involved with some kind of drug/sex/human traffic operation (either intentionally or unintentionally) which ran it's operations through the Sawgrass complex...Maybe Caylee is being held as a "hush up"??
If the DNA isn't Caylee's, who's is it??

What if she did know a ZG (whether it be a real name or alias) that did in fact live at this complex either in 210 or 212...Someone who had once been her friend...

What if she showed the police the wrong apt. because she feared what would happen if she had taken them into the right one?

Why has apt.210 been vacant for so long??? Is LE sure that it has...Has anyone ever seen people come and go from this apt. even though records show that it hasn't been legally "rented"?

Has LE inspected the apt./apts regardless of their rental status??

What about 212 or 214 rather? (I've recently learned that records from Society Entertainment show CEO Williams placing the address as apt.214 and not 212 as previously thought)

If Sawgrass was used as a front for shady business there is no doubt records could be tampered with and evidence removed on the sly...

OK... so it sounds a little CSI
Maybe I do watch too much T.V.
I also have an alternate accidental death theory...maybe later

I was going with the assumption that she could have gotten the license plate number...it would probably be worth $20 (the probable cost of looking up a plate online). If Casey saw ZG leaving the vacant apartment and get into her car...

As far as I know ZG said she doesn't remember which apartment she was shown (other than it was "in the back" and on the "third floor").

Does anyone know a good way to prove given what she has said that there is no way she could have been seen coming out of this empty apartment.

ZG did say she was looking at a lot of apartments that day up and down the street these apartments are on. Does anyone think that fact could offer a clue?

"A manager of the Sawgrass Apartments confirms that a Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez did take a tour of the complex, but no employees at the apartment recognized any photos of women with that name, or any photo of Casey or Caylee."

Source Here.

That tells me that if the staff couldn't ID the Zenaida, that admits to looking at apartments there, then Casey could have been there and they don't remember her either. I'm telling you, I really think Casey was in the office at the same time Zenaida was and that's the connection. Casey has a lightbulb moment and now has the story she's going to tell everyone when they ask where Caylee is. So she starts telling Cindy and everyone about Zanny the Nanny. I doubt Cindy ever heard the name Zanny until after June 17th. Cindy has a bad habit of stating things as fact that she's conjured up in her mind. I also think to pin the disappearance on Zanny, Casey disposed of Caylee in a dumpster at Sawgrass.

snipped

It just doesn't make sense that she would try to acquire the name of a person that signed in as a visitor - that would not advance her story, she must have thought that she lived there.

Or hoped that she would be moving there soon.[/quote]

I think Casey knew that at some point in time her family, and in particular, her mother would confront her about Caylee's whereabouts. Casey knew she needed a cover story, so she came up with the "Caylee kidnapped by babysitter" story and took a few steps to make her story sound credible. She probably went to the Sawgrass Apts. and took a tour in order to become familiar with it. Somehow during that tour she came across the name of Zenaida Gonzolas and decided to use that name for the babysitter.

I think she has a husband who was said to have waited in the car while she looked at the apartment, and also other apartments, that day.

Hey there,

Do you have a source or more info on this? I'm currently pretty curious about how they show apartments at Sawgrass.

Do they let you look at vacant apartments on your own, or do they drive you around on a golf cart and go with you to each available apartment?

You may be onto something here... if you go to the sawgrass website (link above) you can check the availablility of vacant apts. #210 is not one listed as vacant even though it has been empty (verified by LE) since Feb 08.

So then how did Casey make her car smell enough like a decomposing body and find body fluids to py into the trunk that would show up under a black light? Isn't that going a bit too far or the sign of a really twisted mind?

I don't think the car did smell like that. I think that's what Cindy told 911 to "finally" get them to get involved. I think Cindy "thought" that Casey would tell LE where Caylee was, which is Cindy's motivation in everything she is doing. I think the "smelled like a dead body" statement skyrocketed into places Cindy did not expect. I think that Cindy and Casey don't think far in advance. Again, I think Casey left the car in an intersection that her mom passes everyday to and from work, and expected her mom to see the car with her purse in it, and freak out, get scared, hurt. etc. but didn't think past that except to think, she will never see me or Caylee again, that will show her! The "dead body" smell was a Cindy "that will show her" thought as well. Again, it's all about control for Casey, and Caylee for Cindy. Both lie to further their cause. It just got wayyyy out of hand, and now the whole world knows their dysfunctional relationship. I think Casey has Caylee hidden, maybe in Porta Rico, or who knows, but I think she is ok. jmo how this will end, idk, if they charge her with murder and she ends up on her way to trial, I think she will tell then, but probably not until then. jmo

I'll post the link, those are kick-butt apartments. At least it seems that way on the website.
Not in a great area...fairly low occupancy.

No you have it wrong. I keep reading posts that say Ricardo's house was across the street from Sawgrass. It is NOT. His place is across the street from the senior center that Casey claimed ZG USED to live in.

I have got to get some rest. Good night and good sleuthing to all.

have a blessed day,:)

I think Casey didn't expect Cindy to call the cops, and Cindy expect Casey to not tell the cops where Caylee was. I think Casey is mad as h*ll for getting thrown in jail and she isn't going to giver her mom the satisfaction of getting Caylee. If Cindy hadn't found Amy's addy in the car, she would not have known where to look for Casey, and they both would be missing, not just Caylee. I think Casey wanted to hurt, scare her mom, and never let her see Caylee again. jmo

Don't you think that with LE involved, and especially the FBI, that whoever has Caylee would have come forward by this time? It's too late for an "it's only a joke" defense. Once Casey told LE that Caylee had been kidnapped, she and anyone involved would be in more and more trouble every day. Not to mention that it's possible that no one would believe the kidnapping was a fake.

On the other hand, I sure hope that's what happened.

Thats doesn't jive. Cindy also told reporters AFTER Casey was in jail that both her and George knew it was the smell of a dead body as a nurse and former cop. I know the link to this clip is out there I just need to stop being lazy and find it. I'm kinda getting tired of having to repeat this fact. :)
