One thing that I find odd is that there is no other family involved anywhere. Normally in missing persons cases you see aunts, uncles, cousins or someone else besides immediate family. Does the Anthony family consist of the mom, dad and bro?

In my family it would be the same way, Mommy. Any family I still have is far, far away and wouldn't be able to give support.

Some media outlets have reported that investigators may be looking at the possibility that something may have happened to Caylee in her grandparents' pool.

In fact, Fox News contributor Mark Fuhrman talked about the possible connection Thursday.

Detectives said they're not ruling anything out but said the pool is not something they've really discussed or zeroed in on during their investigation.

Well actually it just depends on where in the country you live. Here in the Raleigh, NC area prices for a 2 bedroom range from $600 to $800 for an average complex. For one of the high end complexes, it's more like $1200 and for the less appealing section of town it's still $400-500. Based on the research I've done on Orlando, FL I would say that the area is comparable to where I live as far as the cost of living - so $600-800 for an apartment doesn't mean it's "roach infested". That being said, I do recall someone on here (a local) saying that the area of town the Sawgrass apartments is in, is not the "best" area of town.

The apartment reviews weren't good... but at the same time there was a change in management, so they could be getting better (or worse)

In my family it would be the same way, Mommy. Any family I still have is far, far away and wouldn't be able to give support.

But this family is established in Florida, and Cindy is a nurse. Even if her family is far away, certainly she has friends at work?

good point.. my family is all local so they'd be around.. so its hard to imagine not having family around for such an ordeal.

Also, you usually see the family members during the search and there really wasnt' one in this case! Maybe there are some around but they just arent' in the media.

They could have asked friends who want to help... to help at the information booth.

Truthfully, I have my best friends at work... but my family has always been "We take care of each other" (My dad is stubborn).. and it would be weird for me to have friends milling around....

I read that Casey was 1/2 credit short of a diploma. wow, is that short sighted or what? She could probably fulfill it by one community college course, and yet...
I don't think the car smelled, and the body fluids are a "possibly" from LE, it could be oil.. or gas from those gas cans...no, LE is trying to build a case, Cindy is trying to force Casey to tell her where Caylee is and using everything she can to do it, and Casey is stubbornly getting her way which is keeping Cindy from Caylee, but wow what a way to get her way. Casey doesn't think ahead thus all the lies that get found out so easily. Cindy underestimates her daughter's stubbornness. Casey knows her mom really does love Caylee more than her. Check it out, Cindy had her daughter arrested, thrown in jail simply because she wouldn't tell her where Caylee was. She accused her of grand theft auto, cc theft, and finally, "a dead body smell in the car". Casey is sitting in jail simply because she won't tell LE where her daughter is. She is one stubborn young woman. I wonder how long she will sit there before she has had enough. I heard they would have to let her loose around August 17. Maybe she is just waiting it out. She is NOT going to give her mom the satisfaction of getting Caylee back, and will disappear when she gets out, but I think Caylee is ok, just hidden. The reason I think this? bc Casey has not shown any emotion except when her mom was saying nice stuff about her on the stand, and really all Casey really wants is her mom to love her as much as she does her daughter. I don't think Casey has hurt or would hurt Caylee, she just wants to hurt her mom, and doesn't recognize that she is hurting everyone else in the process. I think her friends know where Caylee is, but they aren't gonna tell. jmo

With EXCEPTION to the cadaver dogs hitting on the trunk of the car, and 3 spots in the yard, and with EXCEPTION to the car's dead body smell (as reported by Cindy), your theory is a good one. Why do I think that? Because even Susam Smith pretended to be desperate about finding her children. She cried and sobbed on national TV. Casey is far TOO cold and unemotional, unless she's in some kind of shock herself and what she did hasn't sunk in yet.

I did see one, and only ONE unmistakable sign of "rapid heart beat" when she stood in court listening to her mother profess her love for her. Casey's heartbeat was very fast, it was visible in her throat (try to find the video, there is a side view of casey where you can clearly see the pulse in her neck).

I read on a Florida forum that Cindy told friends of Casey's NOT to speak to the press.Because she said it would
"Change their lives'.
So, if they are tight lipped that may be the reason?

You would be shocked to find out what your friends at work would, or would not do for you in a situation like this one. My "friends" at work didn't even show up when I had a 10% chance of surviving surgery.

I also feel that any accomplice who had Caylee would come forward now.... it would be inhuman and illegal to continue a charade taking such a toll on the community and LE

I guess I've been fortunate. Mine have always come through for me. As I have for them.

I agree, I've been wondering why Casey can't even FAKE that she cares.. Susan Smith had me in tears watching her on TV with her husband pleading for her babies' return. Casey?? nothing.. The convo she had with her friend Christine was early proof that she has no real emotions. I mean her friend Christine is crying about Caylee and Casey says OMG what a waste.. never should have called etc. So her daughter is missing and her friend is crying to her about it, and instead of crying herself she gets mad because she wants TonE's number and is not getting it.. instead she's getting tears and questions about Caylee, and as we all know, in her world its supposed to be all about Casey.

No this is a big as it gets, it was Amy's main myspace pic back on 7/6/08. I tried enlarging and just get a big blur. Was hoping someone who was better at photo programs knew a trick or something to enlarge it so we could get a better idea of what all is in the picture.

The dark haired woman appears to be Casey. Not a child.

I ran it through my program and the woman's left arm is visibile and definitely not a child's arm.

Also the worker in the background has a white cap on like a kitchen worker.
