Also, the Orange County Jail released a new phone call between Caylee Anthony's mother, Casey, and her brother Lee.

"Hey Case," Lee Anthony said.

"Hey, I need a favor," Casey Anthony said.

"Sure," Lee Anthony said.

"Can you get a hold of Jose and have him come see me as soon as he can, like today at some point?" Casey Anthony said.

"Yeah, let me give him a call," Lee Anthony said.

"Yeah, if you could do that, I would greatly appreciate it," Casey Anthony said. "You know, give my love obviously but I only have a minute to talk so…"

"OK, yeah, I'll do that right now," Lee Anthony said.

"OK, I appreciate that," Casey Anthony said.

"All right, love you," Lee Anthony said.

"Love you too," Casey Anthony said.

Maybe she can only make collect calls and his office doesnt accept them

Excellent point... they only release them if they choose to...based on not interferring with the investigation... correct?

I wondered that as well, and the only reason I can come up with is Casey wants the world to know, she asked for him. Any discussion with her lawyer is confidential and can't be taped. Unless, Defense Attorneys do not allow their clients to call them directly....hmmmm.

I don't think that phone-call had anything to do with not being able to reach her lawyer.

You know how people stop talking to you but they want you to know that they stop talking to you or they are mad with you? Casey is BULLYING her parents and brother right now. Not seeing them in prison is part of that. And since she sits in jail and cannot bully them from close she has to find other ways to emotionally upset them. Like not see them in jail and top it with calling them not to talk to them or see how they are doing or if there is any new development but just to drop a request to contact her lawyer. Of course the family will start thinking by the way why does she need him? does she want to tell him something important? is something going on? PURE MANIPULATION I BELIEVE.

A lot of people with knowledge on the board said that Casey has access to her lawyer even if she didn't have phone money and she wouldn't need to call her family to do that.

Nah I'm sure ALL lawyers offices accept collect calls...that is their bread and butter..people in jail. JMO.

But why the long wait before she reported it to police? Is she that stupid to believe people would think it was okay Caylee was missing for 31 days or that Casey was looking for her while dancing in clubs?....

Do you think she realized she was going to get caught sooner or later so she just decided to live it up? I'm curious as to if there's a "flurry" of spending on the credit cards as well... she knew her parents would freak out on that... but if it was more of a... "I'm going to lose it all anyways.. I may as well live large until the end" type of thinking????

Just a thought

But this is probably the most sensational case he's ever had...you'd think he'd be at her beck and call every minute of the day and night. I'm surprised he's not camped out in front of the jail.

Now it doesn't say when that phone call was made. If it were made yesterday it was probably to give her family "false hope" that Caylee was coming home. Probably another tactic to show that she has full control.

No this is a big as it gets, it was Amy's main myspace pic back on 7/6/08. I tried enlarging and just get a big blur. Was hoping someone who was better at photo programs knew a trick or something to enlarge it so we could get a better idea of what all is in the picture.

I'm a graphic designer and I just enhanced it and enlarged as much as I could without distortion - it's difficult because not only is it a small photo, but the resolution is low. But from what I see, that blur that looks like it could be a face is actually the tshirt of a man walking by in the bkgrnd.

I read that George said he and Cindy would be visiting Casey today. You know if I was them, after yesterday being Caylee's birthday, and no new info being forthcoming from Casey..I wouldn't visit her again until she starts cooperating..and I would make it a complete cut off ..a refusal by Lee, George and Cindy to not take phone calls, not speak to her or her lawyer..just a total isolation from the family. Because if she was my daughter and I had to go in there today to see her..I'd be down on the floor on top of her pounding some sense into her friggin head..I wouldn't be able to see her without attacking her.

Maybe it was Casey's way of letting Lee know she's turning to Jose now... OR it's her way of getting something to Lee via Jose... (if it goes through Jose.. it's not released publically)

Or.... she could be more likely to spill after spending Caylee's birthday in jail... alone....

Is Casey's interaction with her family all by phone and video visit?

Casey Anthony's Parents Plan Another Jail Visit
Sunday, August 10, 2008 8:02:44 AM

ORLANDO -- The parents of Casey Anthony are scheduled to meet with her at the Orange County Corrections Department Sunday night, one day after the birthday of Casey's missing daughter, Caylee.

Caylee's third birthday came and went Saturday with no new information on the missing toddler's whereabouts. See previous story.

Instead of the homecoming party they were hoping for, the Anthony family spent a relatively quiet day at home.

George Anthony, Caylee's grandfather, told reporters he and his family continue to pray that Caylee comes home soon.

"She lights up a room when she walks into a room," George Anthony said. "She's got the bright eyes, the little personality that I wish a lot of other people had in this world."

George Anthony said he was grateful for the support he and his family received from well-wishers.

ITA, this is just her way to keep them jumping to her tune.
Makes me wonder what would happen if her parents changed their number to an unlisted one and she couldn't contact them?
