I don't think any of Casey's friends helped her do anything. It appears they're still whacked out by her involvement in her child's disappearance. Young people often believe they are invincible and that nothing will happen to them. I doubt they'd be shocked by any of their friends ending up in jail for drugs or some other charge but can you imagine their shock in finding out that someone they've been around is responsible for their child, the child is missing and she's refusing to talk and might be responsible for a murder?

It's not stated anywhere that keys were left in the car. Not by any legit sources anyways. If someone has a link I missed, I would love to see this as it would be a very interesting piece of evidence! Thanks!

TY..Thought i was losing my mind...it keeps coming up but no-one seems to have proof....

I think that might be why they are bringing in the air machine. Assuming Caylee is no longer with us, they probably want every conceivable proof in lieu of a body.
Lanie

yeah, the air machine is interesting.....

I have always thought that Blink had that as her sig line because people on these threads were always misspelling caylee's name. That was my take. I think people are reading too much into it.

Exactly. I'm confused as to why this discussion is still going on. A sig line is a personal place for posters to put whatever they wish. Alot of posters put a reference to their PET CASES in there. Beyond that, it means nothing.

chrisg, thanks! I got mixed up on her location but I thought at the time she lived in Fla. but again I could be mistaken.

sassy_texasbelle2 yes, Renier and a few others who work for LE/FBI never charge for services and are usually approached by those organizations to begin with. As they say, they don't solve the cases, they are only another "tool" for LE. Unlike some others we could name that are on their way down there.

Molly, just checked the other psychic--Belanger--that was involved in the Peterson case and she does, in fact, live in FL. I agree that there are very talented people in this field but this SOS group down there now seems a little sketchy.

These are great points. First off she DID leave the keys in the car. And she left the car in front of a check cashing business. We know that she wanted that car to disappear.

Where is the link that states that as a fact???? (keys left in car)

I was told by "Check Da Facts" last night that it was common knowledge and had been established a long time ago on WS - I do not have a link for verification - does anyone out there have a link to info about the Amscot?

Lanie, I'd prefer to soften her up with Kirk's method first (pow!) and then use Spock on her. That's the least she deserves for all this mess. Caylee deserves better from her mother and right now, Casey doesn't deserve the term "mother" with all that connotates.

Newbie (with a degree in Anthropology) here. I agree with this assessment.
Although I haven't had the opportunity to work with Dr. Bass at the Body Farm, I do know that his work is highly-respected in the court systems. While LE may have fluid/DNA/etc., they may be trying to gather enough other evidence to convict in the event an actual body is never found.

If decomposition scent is detected by Dr. Bass's "sniffer", that evidence, along with hairs in the trunk, blood evidence, etc. can be used in court to conjecture that "There must be a body even if we don't have a body".

While more difficult, there have been murder convictions using only this type of evidence.

I think the SOS group is there for publicity plain and simple.

He is mistaken..it was a theory and he took as proof positive. I ask him where the proof was and he wasn't very polite.

I'm thinking the results of the stain testing did not come back showing human DNA. If they did, there'd be no reason to test the air.
Maybe they're testing the machine, if this is a newly-developed technology.

I have a bad habit of not posting media info in the media thread. I depend on SS to come behind me and move them over. lol. Hey, she's been slacking off. I need to talk to her about that!

ah, you do fine....:)
i tend to stop at all of your posts, when i try to catch up, lol.....

I second this. And please, please, I am not trying to be a jerk, and I apologize if I am coming across that way, but please try to be sure information is accurate before it's posted in here as fact. I don't think I am alone in not being able to stay on top of everything that has come out. It is really confusing when someone throws out the wrong info, and pages are devoted to it. It makes it hard to stay on top of what has been verified and what hasn't.
Thank you all so much in advance.
Lanie

Maybe the important question is does Casey believe in psychics  I'd be worried if I felt they were real and I buried my child and thought she was well hidden.

Good point! Even if she doesn't believe, it might make her very nervous. God can write straight with our crooked lines, if He chooses to do so.

has been on frequent newscasts she left her keys and purse in the car???
I just assumed the car ran out of gas- but if it didn't may she was too freaked to drive- especially if she jst dumped a body??????
I'd love to know from GPs if, over the last two years when she supposedly worked for Universal but did't-- if Casey had her own pocket money, or any sign of a pay check or a checking account for direct deposit from her supposed job. My daughters- age 34 and 26 always gripe about how much is taken out of their checks for taxes etc. Did Cindy ever see a paycheck???? Also Casey when she first spoke to Lee and was talking about cell phones was speaking like the cell she got from Universal was still activated during the time Caylee went missing. Would the place that fired her 2 years ago still be paying for her cell?????? Maybe I just misunderstood?? This case makes me scratch my head hourly???

I think they need to put pictures of that car and Casey up on billboards.

That bra makes that car pretty distinctive. I think they need to drive it back and forth on I4 bc there's some really secluded woody sites off the interstate from Orlando to the BEACH which is where even Cindy mentioned bc she said something about there is usually a grain of truth in Casey's lies.

Do Casey or family members even mention why she left the car, or did she say it was stolen. Why is the car left her , according to everyone else?

I think that is still in question?? Did George say he had to put gas in it to come home? Has no one reporter asked him if he found the car in a condition to be able to drive it home or did he have to get under the hood or put gas in it first.

I have never seen anyone ask him ... maybe LE did and they are keeping that quiet.

I liked that very much....very much. Well said housemouse.

I have been trying to find a definitive answer to this on google, but am not finding what I am looking for. If the body was not otherwise injured (no open wounds), and the stain in the car was solely from the body decomposing they would be able to tell both that it came from a dead body and via DNA whose body? Is that correct? I keep finding forensic data that refers to blood stains but don't specify if that is from the cause of death and then tons of references of DNA testing done on decomposing tissue.

This air test is leading me to wonder if the stain would only reveal DNA and the air test would be how they would prove that a dead body was in the vehicle?

This is a good example of why many of us are picky about wanting links to info people post as facts. Either state it's your opinion or provide a link. It's really prevents everyone reposting a misfact over and over again. I'm not being bossy as I've made mistakes as well and once a misfact is out there, it lives on forever. We all need to be careful to verify our info before posting. Thanks!
