Everything should be stored on her SIM card.

I've heard great things about 'The Body Farm'. It's part of the Univ. of Tennessee. They do a lot of forensic tests there on insects, decomp and so forth. I'm a little puzzled by the 'air samples' though!

Respectfully copied from the Wikipedia entry on Dr. Arpad Vass, developer of the chemical sniffer currently being used by Dr. Bass at the Body Farm...

"Decomposition odor analysis or DOA database is being established which will help to identify the over 400 body vapours which emanate from a decaying and decomposing human body. Such a database would enable the Federal Bureau of Investigation's search teams and cadaver dogs (Human Remains Detection dogs) to detect the location of remains of human beings.[3] The database is a part of the University of Tennessee Anthropological Research Facility.[4] These dogs train in the same method as narcotic dogs can sniff out graves of buried human remains."

Maybe that helps?

I would think they would have to be allowed access to the law library so they could help prepare in their own defense.

I didn't realize county jails had law librarys..I learned something new.

I read a book called the "Body Farm" at one time. It was fascinating.

I don't store every phone number to my SIM card. Some I store to the phone and some to the card. I have AT&T.

Hmmm....I didn't know you could pick and choose where they were stored. I also have AT&T I'll have to check that out.

I think this is it exactly! :)

The AT&T online phone book allows you to have an Alias name for the number, as well as the real name of the number.

It appears Casey used it backwards - she had an Alias numbers!

For example, this is the correct way to enter information:

Number: 419-888-9292
Alias: Plumber
Name: Tom Smith

I learn something new everyday. I wish my life was spicy enough where I could list an Alias or two on my phone. :)

I was still reading up on it and came back and found your post ~ many thanks. I do understand now a little better what the test is. :)

Hi Panthera! I heard the jails sometimes have a small library that inmates can borrow books from?

  • #214
Great book! Sorry, OT.

But if I recall right it definitely gives you a clue into what they might be doing in this case.

I apologize if this is too obvious to even be said, but in all the new, ever-changing Cindy "information, " are we really hearing from Casey, through a proxy? Is this just more of her off the cuff temporizing, to explain and knock down or at least obscure new theories as they arise? I know the visits have been limited, but they may be in communication indirectly. I don't think Cindy would be saying all this stuff without Casey's approval, to a degree. It's as if she sells it to her mom, and then Cindy goes public to defend her. Maybe she hasn't been doing a good enough job, so she must be punished. This case is mind-boggling.

I believe they accept money orders in the mail with prisoner ID on it.

That does help..as I think the scent of decomp lingers even if someone has sprayed, washed and cleaned the area..that is how strong that odor is and if it is made of a combination of chemicals and this can break those down..then that is super.

On another note I think that Caylee's DNA is back..just my opinion, but the way they worded certain things at the end of last week, then said they would not be releasing certain peices of evidence..I think they have it..but it just isn't enough. Meaning , Caylee's DNA, hair , clothing fiber , etc should be in that car, and even the trunk from throwing kids things in the trunk, as her mother and possibly grandparents have driven her in it before. And if the dirt is from the beach or the backyard..you know any attorney is going to say well it should be , they live there, they visited there etc.
