Oh, My God!!! I grow so weary of this case!!!! I look here everynight and frequently, during the day at work (shhhhh.....don't tell my boss!!!). I am totally to the point of obsessed. I am loosing sleep. I can think or nothing else. Now, we are apparently lamenting the timeline of Casey's phone calls. IMHO, the calls were a distress signal. Now, we need to be left alone with Casey for about 15 minutes to find out "why".

Casey thinks she's got the upper hand here. No one's been able to get to the bottom of her lies. She thinks if she sticks it out a little longer she'll get a slap on the hand and she'll walk.

I don't understand. How would it be advantageous to LE to keep the test results from Casey and continue to allow her to think she has the upper hand? They won't get information from her that way.

I think she was trying to solidify that her parents were not at the house. It will be interesting to hear what the neighbor actually swears to in the way of times and dates.

Maybe that's when Casey grabbed her mom's credit cards and ran off. She could have been checking to see when she'd have access to them.

According to George she had Caylee with her, wonder what pockets the towers picked up on her cell, during these frantic style like calls?

I'm looking at this 'flurry of calls' which doesn't look like anything other than maybe Casey wanting a babysitter or just agitated that no one was answering her. I'm more concerned with why NO calls are made/reported on June 17th. That's probably the most abnormal day with no calls for a girl her age and social status.

did they change the date to the 17th she borrowed the shovel or was that something else they changed the date on ???

I believe Furhman originally said the 18th according to his "source"....LE has now released the 17th. So its the 17th which tightens the time line that much more...

Casey might incriminate herself further. Give her enough rope and the girl is definitely going to hang herself.

Nancy Grace is asking about the theory of Caylee drowning right now.

I'm thinking that's how my mom calls me and I guess it could look frantic in a different context, but usually it's just her telling me something stupid.

Maybe Casey found a really good deal on that blue dress she was going to wear and called her mom to borrow the money. That can be pretty urgent to a 22 year old.

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that anything and everything Casey wanted was urgent to her.

I wonder if George did see Casey and Caylee on the 16th and if he didn't, why would he lie about it. We all know that the dates changed from the 8th and 9th of June to the 15th and 16th of June, meaning Caylee was last seen on the 8th and taken to the babysitter on the 9th. This changed to last seen on the 15th and taken to the babysitter on the 16th. Now, George states that he saw both of them on the 16th. If you look at the arrest affidavit Casey states she took Caylee to the babysitter at 0900 and returned at 1300 on the 9th. Ok, so the 9th changes to the 16th. Why would Casey say she took Caylee to the babysitter at 0900 if she knows her dad saw them leave at 12:50? I don't think it was just a dumb mistake by Casey. IMO, George fabricated the story about seeing them on that day. What would be his motive for doing this?

Casey claims she dropped Caylee with Zanny, somewhere between 0900 and 1300.

At 22 it was all pretty urgent to me.

The reporter doing the phone timeline that the shovel was borrowed on the 18th. I think the 17th was a mistake.

  • #192
Earlier today it was reported that Casey borrowed the shovel on the 17th but had her car backed into the garage on the 18th.

  • #193
That time frame could have also been when Casey went to pack her duffle bags full of clothing. Maybe she didn't want to have a confrontation with momma and was being sneaky and packing while they were gone.

only problem with that is none of them no when to shut up even if they had just 5 mins

You've got a good point there, justme! Casey can be volatile and unpredictable -- no telling what she might say, especially if she's mad at the family. She could say something that might damage her case or the public perception of her even further.

Still, Baez's claim that it would endanger Caylee is just absurd. He needs to come up with something better...something that doesn't completely insult the intelligence of the public that he's trying to fool.

Nothing should be ruled out, this is a missing child case/possible death investigation. IMO something happened out of the ordinary on this date. Wonder when she ran out of moms credit card funds and Amy's checks/cash for that blue dress on the 21st?

Okay, I think I see what you mean now. The evidence they already have isn't going anywhere so why tip their hand by telling her what they have? You think they're giving her time to think up more lies and bury herself deeper. Is that right?

Jun 18th was also the alleged date of the shovel incident, no confirmation that I know of in regards this date, other than the mid Jun comment from the neighbor. We have no idea whether or not Casey was required to turn in her house keys. We know George knew she was still in possesion of the car well after the 18th up to the 27th of Jun.

Somewhere (an article stated that the shovel date was the 17th and the back the car up to the garage was the 18th. Maybe someone can look up the link. I've got to go pick up my son. BBL.

I'd never heard the 17th mentioned before today. I remember Mark Fuhrman said the shovel was the 18th the other night, same day as the car being backed up to the garage. I think Cindy might have mentioned the 17th about the pool ladder & open gate, but that's about all I remember.
