Ok, to me that doesn't look frantic. She called mom at work. No answer. Called mom on cell. No answer called mom back on cell because maybe mom was on the other line. No answer so she tries mom's work again. Then a little later she tries mom's work again maybe thinking she was away from her desk.

For about 20 minutes straight she is constantly dialing her phone....it looks kind of frantic to me.

why no call at work to gma when she couldn't reach her, did she know gma wasn't at work?
Jun 18th was also the alleged date of the shovel incident, no confirmation that I know of in regards this date, other than the mid Jun comment from the neighbor. We have no idea whether or not Casey was required to turn in her house keys. We know George knew she was still in possesion of the car well after the 18th up to the 27th of Jun.

Casey calls 6/18

12:33pm Mom Home
12:34pm Mom Cell
12:35pm Mom home
12:36pm Dad Cell
1:09pm Mom Cell
1:11pm Mom Home
It looks like they might have been ignoring her! I don't see these "flurry of phone calls" as anything but somebody who is impatient and thinks because they're calling the other person should pick up the phone no matter what!! Why not just leave a couple of voicemails and wait for the return call?

Could it be that Cindy discovered her credit card had been stolen at this point and had them cancelled??? In turn Casey was trying to get in touch with her mom to argue about this (as it does seem that Casey was very manipulative towards her mom) and Cindy just "ignored" Casey's calls not wanting to hear her whine and complain?? God only knows what happened to Caylee during Casey's "rage"..

I agree, to me these are not frantic calls, except for the fact that her child is missing and these dates are along the time line of when they think something happened to the child.

Alone, these calls prove nothing......

They are in. They just aren't showing their hand yet. They are hoping Casey will call bluff.

i watch alot or the forensic file shows and cold cases and on some of them depending which dna test there doing can take up to 2-3 weeks

she called mom at home? To me that indicates that whatever happened DIDNT happen at the Anthony home. It had to happen at another location as she was calling the home to see if anyone was there.

hmmmm.

Good point.

From FoxNews (I don't see any mention of which phone numbers Casey called.... home or cell numbers):

Now, what we're learning here is that this timeline is tightened up to June 16, and now we can even tighten up just exactly what kind of activity was actually going on that afternoon. Later in the afternoon, starting at about 3:00 o'clock, we have a source that has shown us that there is a flurry of cell phone activity from Casey's phone. Some of those calls, six in a row, that are just a two minute or two apart, trying to get ahold of her father, six phone calls to her mother and two other individuals which we are not describing at this time.

Now, the activity ceases for about two hours at about 4:00 o'clock, and then continues several other phone calls to the mother, the father and a couple of other individuals between about 6:00 and about 7:30. There are no other calls until the next day. That would be the 17th.

Does anyone know the average time it takes to get DNA results back? I saw either on Nancy Grace or somewhere else they said 3 days...just curious. I don't buy that they aren't in though.

I think they are in but LE not releasing results.
Didn't I hear this last week?

Anyone???

What bluff?

Casey thinks she's got the upper hand here. No one's been able to get to the bottom of her lies. She thinks if she sticks it out a little longer she'll get a slap on the hand and she'll walk.

She'd just left the house and immediately called her dad's cell? She was at the house while he was watching his favorite news/cooking program at 12:50pm. He would have left for work at 2:30.
Yes, he'd left for work and maybe she went back to the house and wanted to make sure mom wasn't on her way there shortly after 4pm?

I agree. When it was said that there was a flurry of calls I certainly expected something much different. This has been much ado over nothing, IMO.

did they change the date to the 17th she borrowed the shovel or was that something else they changed the date on ???

According to George she had Caylee with her, wonder what pockets the towers picked up on her cell, during these frantic style like calls?

I think people (media included) speculated that the preliminary tests MUST be in already but they're waiting for ALL the test results before making any new moves.

I wonder if George did see Casey and Caylee on the 16th and if he didn't, why would he lie about it. We all know that the dates changed from the 8th and 9th of June to the 15th and 16th of June, meaning Caylee was last seen on the 8th and taken to the babysitter on the 9th. This changed to last seen on the 15th and taken to the babysitter on the 16th. Now, George states that he saw both of them on the 16th. If you look at the arrest affidavit Casey states she took Caylee to the babysitter at 0900 and returned at 1300 on the 9th. Ok, so the 9th changes to the 16th. Why would Casey say she took Caylee to the babysitter at 0900 if she knows her dad saw them leave at 12:50? I don't think it was just a dumb mistake by Casey. IMO, George fabricated the story about seeing them on that day. What would be his motive for doing this?

I'm thinking that's how my mom calls me and I guess it could look frantic in a different context, but usually it's just her telling me something stupid.

Maybe Casey found a really good deal on that blue dress she was going to wear and called her mom to borrow the money. That can be pretty urgent to a 22 year old.

wonder if the pings say close to home and that's where the pool theory is coming from

I think she was trying to solidify that her parents were not at the house. It will be interesting to hear what the neighbor actually swears to in the way of times and dates.

Last I knew per media and LE neighbors said she borrowed shovel mid June. Now I have never seen any dominate date myself. This is a dte WS posters more or less surmised. If there is a actual date, I have yet to see it but would love to.
