LI MOM,
I must agree with you..........No one would stop me from getting that baby, even if I was killed. It's a bunch of lies..........as an X cop, he knows cops and with help, it could be done........just buying time for the trashy daughter. Anyone know what type of cop George was? good, bad? Why was Casey fired from UNIVERSAL????

well i think we all no that there is gonna be alot of fiber matches cause of how easily they can be transfered , i was just agree with the other post cause i believe that they did find caylees dna in the fluid taken from the trunk and with the cadaver dogs spotting the trunk so they now want to get more of a narrow of a time line and match it up to casey's whereabouts were so they can start searching the places where cindys cell phone hit the towers
No not a lot but paticular fiber matches, so matches would be broken down. Their interest would be in comparison to the DNA and fibers they currently have from the yard and car, or the areas were currently aware of to which we can try and debate on. The rest being null & void. Time line will come from some of what you mentioned. Time line could also be assisted, if they have any maggots or dead fly's as well. It will also we assisted by what they know and we don't, thru interviews with friends and other's.

Remember that they said the results would not likely be released, so they may have a lot of tests back, just not talking about them.

I don't think they'll announce the DNA results until they have enough solid proof to charge Casey with murder. If they announce it, then that gives Baez the opportunity to ask for them.... I think.

It may be that Baez is only entitled if it is specifically connected with the particular charges they have on her at this time.

Bit confused here, so I would have to disagree on the comment (there is no test that can determine whether a corpse was in a location.) The testing is based upon the evidence of DNA found. If matching DNA is found the body rested in a paticular location. That DNA would need to consist of naturally decomp/dead cells as opposed to living cells.

This has me very confused. Once cells slough off a person, whether the person is dead or alive, the cells die. There is no such thing as a living cell unless it's connected to a living body. Our homes, cars, etc. are filled with our dead skins cells. How is it possible to tell whether or not we were dead when the cells sloughed off?

*Not disputing the claim, just trying to educate myself *

Especially since they went to the FBI lab ~ they don't always give out information to the media, and imo, there's no real reason to either since Casey's already in jail on some charges. :)

I think you're right.:)

I assumed they did, and did not get the results they were looking for, thats why they sent what they had to a more advanced place.

That is my theory also. If they had results that incriminated Casey they'd be all over her demanding answers. I also don't see any reason why they'd need to keep the information from her family, what they do or don't know isn't going to change the results of the tests. I think the test results to date have been very disappointing in terms of making a case for murder.

I have the definite impression that Tony is not at all happy with Casey. He spoke with LE on the very first day of the investigation, and it's stated in the affidavit that he called Amy and urged her to call LE too. His statement about Casey not being the least concerned about Caylee during the time in question, is just one more indication that he's angry.
I don't blame him at all! I heard his DJ friend telling Fox News a few weeks ago that Tony liked to play with Caylee and any normal person would be angry at someone who may have harmed this precious little child.

And that is what I have been asking for if anyone knows the name of this test I would be happy to be wrong. I have searched and searched for it and cannot find anything that says they can do that. If you leave blood somewhere it begins to decompose whether it was out of a body with a beating heart or not. They use to have a hard time with DNA tests because the longer it was before they could test the more it decomposed.

The work you're looking for was referenced by Larry Kobilinsky, a forensic scientist at the City University of New York's John Jay College of Criminal Justice, on Nancy Grace's show. He mentioned the name of that test AND how it was performed.

if there were maggots in the car i agree totally cause many csi labs have called in the specialist that deal with the stage of larva from maggots to determine a much closer time line for the death and when her body is found im sure if there are maggots they will use this method to comfirm there time line

I think they may have some of DNA back from the car, possibly awaiting for the test results on the other items they took last week, Doing the air test, crossing their t's and dotting their i's and Murder charges are forthcoming. That is my thinking.

Greta's taking us to Fusian tonight. I bet they're ecstatic to be getting the publicity now.

How funny! So Casey IS promoting the club after all.

RE: the cells, my understanding is that after death occurs, proteins stop working and amino acids form; putrescine and cadaverine form and would become part of the composition of the cell. If a cell just dies normally, it wouldn't show these amino acids.

IMO and only based on what I've been reading, but I may have this wrong!

Being that this is a missing potential homicide with high media exposure, I doubt George is being given any more preferential LE treatment than other missing cases. Favors extended to all LE's former or past is not true, does not work that way. It's within the attorney's ability on both sides to use up any available time. Time can only run so long as you know, it has to move forward under legal guidelines. George served 10 yrs. in Ohio I do believe and according to another currently with that department, he was thought highly of.

I so pray you're right, sad as it might be, but I'm just not buying any part of this 'nanny abduction' and haven't from the start. :(

It is so frustrating that LE is staying so tight lipped and it totally frustrates me BUT I totally respect the fact that they are. In so many cases loose lips sink ships and evidence gets thrown out etc. So while it ticks us all off not to know I honestly think in the end we will be saying THANK GOODNESS. I honestly feel like the integrity of this case depends on them keeping a lot of stuff out of the public eye..I guess we shall see!

Just so you know - it wasn't tonight. I think it was sometime earlier last week. A day before, Cindy called into Larry King (Kobalinisky was a guest on his show that night) and got on after a break and Kobilinsky was off and she wanted to ask him the same exact question you are.

Was it miniSTR? He pronounced it ministir I think.

Fully agreed. Although I am dying for the results, the most important things in this case are going on behind the scenes. IMO
