1500 tips wonder how many came from "friends"

Is that what's been said, that there have been 1,500 tips? Seems to me, compared to other high profile cases, that's like nothing.

Padilla via Greta: We have no reason to believe we are looking for anything but a missing child.

They are still maintaining that it's a missing child case.

Right now on Greta, it's being said that Baez is requesting Casey not see family because visits are recorded and that would put Caylee in danger? What??? None of this makes any sense! Didn't Casey say Caylee was "safe & close by"?

It's like all of them (Casey, GM, GP, Lee, Baez) are competing to see WHO can say the craziest crap?

Frankly, I think it's a dead heat.... they all sound like morons.

Ok, I'm just throwing this out there... does anyone believe that Caylee may have eaten some of mommy's "Candy" (Zanax) while Casey was sleeping and she woke up to a deceased child and did not know what to do. So she drives around with Caylee's body in the trunk until she can figure out what to do next ... possibly bury or dump Caylee's body..

Just a thought I had...
It's possible but I happen to think it was a little more deliberate because of Casey's behavior afterward. MOO

Chilly what's an average # of tips?

Casey has invoked her rights to remain silent, all communication will only be through her representing party. Baez will not allow her to speak to LE as long as she has a representing Atty. Also the line of questioning has been established on looking for Caylee. Baez will not allow her much room as a client, without LE/States Atty putting an agreeable offer on the table.

Padilla said no DNA evidence in, he wanted to clear that up

Now I know where George is getting his information on the kidnappers from.

And yet, as someone pointed out earlier, they are also saying they have "more" evidence. It seems very contradictory.

I don't expect them to say anything different, especially while they're still doing tests, and that part isn't a lie ~ she is missing, one way or the other.

I still think that they are playing "the game". George cannot possibly be an ex law enforcement officer and be so dang stupid..nope I'm not going for it. As soon as Cindy opened her mouth in the very beginning I thought nope they are acting. My FIL is an ex homicide detective in DC- the murder capital of the world..he thinks George is an excellent actor as do I.

If he isn't acting then maybe he is hitting the Xanax as well lol.

I was reading over on the media thread an article about George, and some of his fellow cop co-workers were saying he was a fine man, a family man, and a top notch detective in Ohio. He couldn't possibly be so naive as he is coming across on tv. He is either acting, as you and your FIL says or he is close to having a complete nervous breakdown!

Honestly I don't know, but I seem to recall in some high profile case's where the numbers ran into tens of thousands and call centers had to be set up to deal with all the calls. Of course the great majority of tips are bogus. 1,500 in almost a month since Caylee was reported missing equals about 30 per day. Very sad.

Is there anyway at all that law enforcement could already have Caylee's body amd the family not have been told? I know its a crazy question and I am basing it on nothing other than me.

Greta just listed (on the tv screen) all of Casey's flurry of phone calls on 6/16 but I couldn't copy all of them down! There were a couple to mom Cindy at 4:10pm, 4:13pm to her cell phone, then one at 4:14pm to mom at work. Another call to somebody else at 4:19pm. I wonder when she called mom at work why she didn't get to talk to her, or had she already left? Somebody would've had to answer the phone there, imo.
