Okay, I think I see what you mean now. The evidence they already have isn't going anywhere so why tip their hand by telling her what they have? You think they're giving her time to think up more lies and bury herself deeper. Is that right?
Exactly. It would definitely be more useful in court to show how Casey had opportunity after opportunity to come clean and instead she kept spinning new tales. It would kill a sympathy defense.
