"She and her husband, George Anthony, had vowed to offer support and not press her for information about her missing daughter, Caylee."

You have got to be kidding me, I am sure you guys have covered this, I am getting a late start today...but this says to me that G&C have accepted the fact that Caylee isn't coming home.

I agree and I think brother Lee probably feels the same way. I';ve got to say that, while he is nothing like his mother, I'm not too pleased with him either. In an interview with the news, he laughed when saying something about "continuing to search for Caylee" or soemthing to that effect. It seemed weird and cavalier to me. Also, in his latest call from Casey in jail, it was VERY clear to me that he was trying to say, "Look, if you have anyhting that can actually help point away from you as the culprit, give it to me, but if not, I do not want you to say anyhting that can harm you in a murder case." He may hold out hope but if there is none, it seems he will quickly shift his allegiance to covering up for his sister. JMO.

There are alot of articles on WESH. Can you provide a link to this one? Thanks!

Welcome to WS officially, Capoly! I am sure you are just as good of a sleuth as we are! This is a think tank and all ideas are welcomed. Jump right in! Keeping Caylee's name out there and the public trying to get any information put together to find her is paramount in this case.

It seems like the public will also be the ones to find the body since LE refuses to even look! Someone has to start somewhere! Let's get those searches going!

If I didn't know that the FL will not let non-ABA accredited law school graduates sit for the bar, I would say Baez got his JD degree from an online "law university". This guy is ABSOLUTELY (using Casey's favorite word) HORRIBLE.

Everybody involved in this is off their rocker or completely inept.

Snipping bits of your post---

I agree that Jose has got to be the lowest qualified attorney I've ever seen, and that includes going to my son's fifth grade mock trial, but I wouldn't say that everyone is completely inept. I've been impressed with LE and with Lee. I think Lee is doing his best to walk the fence and find Caylee. I thought it was pretty clever how he managed to sound like he was supporting Casey AND focus on Caylee in the phone call...

" We’re completely behind you. And being completely behind you our entire focus, all our days, every second of every day is consumed with ‘What can we do to find Caylee’. "

Amen to that.

I can see the parents saying this the first couple of days.... but once they saw that Casey has no intentions of telling them where to find Caylee, I think you admit to yourself that the ONLY person Casey cares about is Casey.

She 'lost' her baby.

She doesn't give a hoot how much her family suffers worrying about Caylee.

She doesn't give a hoot about all the friends & others that she has dragged into this sick game & how she has disrupted everyone's life while she sits on her butt.

They don't seem to GET IT....... Casey does NOT care where Caylee is..... she's more interested in the attention & sympathy she's getting from her family.

She also don't care how much her family is getting degraded & humiliated by anyone. They also are taking a whopping beating from the media for standing up for her & stating she is innocent.

My question is why would the LE give that info out if they don't have to? Why risk having to move the hearing etc? They get to hear what is being said, how can they benefit from letting all of us hear it if they know she is dead and not missing? The LE said they have processed the car, if they did find human remains ( even if they don't know if its caylees) why wouldnt that come out that its human remains? Something seems so odd with the LE on this. Does anyone know if it came out that it was NOT human remains found in the car afterall, that Baer could get the bond lowered at that point? Just thinking out loud. Wondering if that is why we have not heard anything.

I don't understand why the public has a right to hear 'private' conversations either.

I do understand why LE would want to disclose the info though... either as a wake up call to Casey's friends & family just HOW ridiculous Casey's lies sound OR to push Casey's buttons enough that she breaks & blurts something out during questioning.

I've been scanning the local TV news websites for a link to the 45 minute video
meeting Casey had with Lee. If anyone finds it please post a link asap.
I think we are going to get many clues from that meeting.

I've had mixed vibes about the brother for days.

hmmm, wonder when the video visit will be released now...

I can't get over it, I'm honestly shocked that the judge didn't issue the gag order.

But I'm thinking he's probably snarkily thinking "Well, if she won't talk, then there's nothing to hear, right?" But honestly, I think it's kind of a good move...it's the only way we might get any truth.
imo it's a way of trying to break her down. Restrict her freedom!

My animals went nuts too. I hate those things. They turn my stomach. I was eating half of an egg salad sandwich when it struck here.

To expand on my last post, a good defense attorney would be able to track down Casey's leads very, very quickly, either with or without the help of LE and would have something by now that proves the existence of Zenaida - for example, someone who knew her. And that last bit of evidence would not put Caylee or Casey's family at risk of harm if the family was being threatened. It's all BS. The attorney would release that info, at least some of it, in a heartbeat, to gain his client's release or to find the child. Baez knows it is crapola!

Unless it is inculpatory, which in this case, I am guessing that has potential for both Casey and Cindy, thus why they requested the PO.

Also, he is now the only one not subject to release of his conversations with her, which could put him in a tough spot I do not think he wants to be in at this juncture... Everyone knows LE is not permitted to monitor those AND everyone knows someone who has :)

I bet she loves that the most. Like "see what happens when you cross me?"

Yeah San Diego. My house was shaking. At first I thought my dog was scratching or something on my computer chair. It lasted quite a long time. My stomach is still churning.

Well, technically they aren't private at all...the Sunshine law says that all conversations are taped, and public information, etc. So it's not like he's taking away any special privilege that the other prisoners get, or anything. Plus, she can still speak privately with her attorney. And she can still tell her family she loves them, etc. It's not like they took her visits away. She put herself in this position.

BUT, I do see what you're saying, and I really, really thought that he would go with the order, and I'm shocked. I don't know that it's fair to Casey, but I certainly think it's fair to Caylee.

And I'm not gonna lie...I'm looking forward to hearing the tapes. I want to know what's going on. Maybe that's wrong of me but...I do want to know what happened. I think we all do.
