Amen A shovel is a shovel. They have handles and either flat scoops or snow or somewhat pointed blades for dirt. If you have seen one shovel, you've basically seen them all.

Why would LE keep it quiet after notifying Casey?
Once remains are identified a death certificate would be filed.
Why would Baez stay quiet? He would immediately need to go into the tragedy that has befallen Casey as they have confirmation that Caylee has died at the hands of her kidnappers.

And the number of people that would have been involved with the find, the removal from the scene, the identification, and so and so on, there is no way that info would not be out. There is no gag order in place. They don't have to notify the grandparents, I agree, but I don't think they would let the public continue to search if they had a true identification.

I am not saying they would keep it quiet, but who knows maybe they are still testing it. I mainly was just commenting that if people were thinking the Anthonys had to be notified on any finds, they were incorrect.

In this state, the only one who has to be notified would be the parent. If that is true in Florida, then the Anthonys have NO legal right to be given notice of any kind.

So, if the bio father has been identified by DNA, at this point(as rumors have suggested), he would have been notified too, correct?

Considering Casey's nature, I think the landfills are THE most likely place of disposal, unfortunately.

He obviously thinks Natalie H is "findable". Went missing 5/30/2005. 3.5 years ago. Vast water, beaches, homes, questionable circumstances, questionable & convoluted everything. Yet search continues.

I just had a thought.......did KC keep a diary or journal? A lot of girls her age do....I am sure this was looked into already....just asking....

I agree....have they checked the apt complex where Tone lived? She did have one of his trash bags in her trunk.....I think she threw Caylee out with the trash....

Did Casey take out this trash bag as a decoy from the house and went to her car to throw the "OTHER" bag away in the dumpster at Tone's apt? I need to check the timeline on this AND when she abandoned the car and when she took that shower at Jesse Grund's house leaving the pants in the car? Wasn't she sleeping in Tone's jeep at some point over night?

I have seen it mentioned that LE possibly already has the remains of Caylee. I really doubt that. First LE is under tremendous pressure from the public. They are getting calls and tips from the public as well as lots of calls from the media. If they had found definite remains, I think they would announce it. To keep it secret would invite criticism from the public that they were out searching for a missing child, when LE had the remains all along. Also, if they had the remains (how I hate saying that) that would be something new that they could confront KC with. And it would get out that way. They might not notify the A's about the finding but I think they would confront CA with the info if they have reason to believe that CA is hiding or covering things up. A way to break her would be to confront her with the remains.

Hearing what TM said, I think that LE (and TM) have developed a theory about how Caylee's remains were disposed of. I would guess that the theories are possibly either alligators or landfill. If either of those occurred then yeah, she would probably be unfindable. The theories could be just guesses or based on some evidence found.

IIRC several items of clothing have been found in various places. If say an outfit that could be linked to Caylee was found near an area that was well populated with alligators, then they might be pretty definate about the fact that she was "unfindable." And that info about the dress might not get released yet. I think they would guess that confronting CA with it wouldn't do any good because she wouldn't believe them. IMO this could also explain TM saying she is unfindable yet also saying that he had small groups of searchers still looking. They could be specialized, who knew how to spot alligator waste and knew what to expect to find.

If the bio dad is DNA-confirmed & was told (and it's not LA, or other family member), I'd think it would be hard to hold that info back for long, from his own family. How devastating that would be, it seems likely that "non-related hypothetical bio dad" would almost have to tell some family member, just for consolation.
