Do we know how many years ago that was?I could be wrong, but I don't think they can get a non-profit corporation. Her brother Rick said they have filed bankruptcy in the past, and that disqualifies you from filing for a non-profit in most states.

Actually the name can't be approved officially until the corporation is approved. That only shows the name is not already taken. They most likely did not file a charter with the application and I noticed it did not show the fees paid either.
I should file a charter and take the name first thing Monday. ROFL!!

I'd disagree with that because the suit is against their homeowner's policy and them, and they can't put the house in the Foundation. Esp not since they've been served with notice of the lawsuit, they can't try to dump assets into a foundation.
