Caylee 'sighting' in Gainesville, FL grocery store

Well, here's how I feel about the "sightings"...the Anthony's put a great deal of stock in the "number" of sightings there have been of children that look like Caylee. As in "look how many times she has been sighted".

She has not been "sighted".

She is dead.

I don't get it. Especially GA who KNOWS that she is no longer with us. This is a special brand of denial that is hurting everyone EVERYONE. There is an entire nation that is grieving for this little girl and the attention that is given to these "sightings" is perpetuating this denial.

I don't think it's denial. If is was denial, they WOULD be searching for a live Caylee.

I think they are deliberately playing the situation for: 1) protection for KC, 2) redemption of the family reputation, 3) attention, and 4) donations. MOO

There's just so much secondary gain, for them.

I think that great. Don't stop yourself, I try to make it point to go on the missing children site so I can look at the pictures, and I to look at all the little childern in grocery and resturants. we had a case by St louis where the boy was kipnap for many years and he went school he had friends and no one notice until another boy was kipnap by the same sicko and both boys were found. So don't stop looking.

Hell no I would call for help if they were leaving a store, restaurant ect... I would grab the first 5 people I seen and tell them who she was and we would make sure they didn't leave before LE got there. If I couldn't get help from others I would follow and get licenses plate number. I would follow them in the car.....there not going to kill her in a car chase!!! She would stand a better chance of surviving a car wreak than letting her live with her kidnappers!!!

All the tips they are getting and still no Caylee?

I know there are way more good people in this world than bad and if people were seeing this little girl they would do SOMETHING to help get her away from abductors.

No kidding, I would be tearing me up some Gainsville if I thought for one second my missing grandchild had just been seen there. We all know CA can make a spectacle of herself so why didn't she do it in Gainsville, have all the media there searching for Caylee, get the FBI there, put the whole da*m town on lock down. If that baby had been in Gainsville and she had been my baby, I would still be there raising all sorts of he77, I would camp out at the convienance store and ask every person if they saw her.....So much someone could have done but they just looked at the tapes and went on back to the house to give LP some carp, that was soooo much more helpful. The A's have got to quit this BS about "We believe Caylee is alive", their actions are sooo contrary to that statement. I am tired of The Today Show and The GMA letting them spew their bile all over the place, these networks need to call the A's on their actions.:furious:

If they really went there, they sure were in a big rush to leave the area to get back to interrupt an active search.

I know. It makes as much sense as the A's alleging that the kidnappers are being followed and that their people are watching them, as GA says. If that's true, then why not DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT? Why have your people "watch" these alleged kidnappers and not act on it for months on end?

No innocent adult would be at all offended or scared if you approached them in a civil way.

You don't 'spot' a missing child & simply walk away to make a phone call & hope that maybe somebody might show up to ASK them.... before they walked away. That's beyond ridiculous.

Honestly, are these adults who are seen with 'Caylee' walking around with Uzis & people are too afraid to walk up to the child?

You don't go home and look up the Anthony's phone number or Kidfinders number on the internet to report it.

Name me one case where a person has been indicated by a Grand Jury for the murder of a missing person, where that "missing" person turns up later alive?

It doesn't happen.

Police may arrest the wrong person for murder on occasion but they don't indict for murder when no murder has taken place.

What really doesn't make any sense to me is that they claim they know where Caylee is, they know who have her...they even know which places shes been to and stayed over the past four months (I think they said shes been moved 9 times?).

But yet they say, "its all going to come out during the trail."

Hmmm, ok. So, this granddaughter that you love sooooo much..you know where shes at. You know the name, residence address, physical description and other details of the person(s) who have her.....and you're sitting on your a** in Orlando? Why not tell Police? Why not get the FBI Swat team out there to break down the door and get that little girl out? Why not try and bait the kidnapper out by offering a HUGE cash reward for returning her anonymously to a fire station or Hospital?

I'll tell you why, because it's a load of horse-****e. I'm on the fence as to whether I feel this to be denial in the extreme, or just a truly disgusting alligence to their daughter. Either way, they are digging a hole for themselves. I hope they have a big 'ol ladder to get out!

I have been reading all those that mentioned where kidnapped victims have been spotted at gas stations and the kidnappers were tracked down, the child returned....and we all know about Shawn H and Elizabeth S.

However, name one case where a person has ever been indicted for murder of a missing person, where that murdered person suddenly appears alive? Days later? Weeks later? Months later? Years later?

It doesn't happen. The police doesn't arrest and the grand jury doesn't indict people for murder if there isn't proof of a dead person.

Excellent post! It is why CA has gone from "tips" to "sightings"! Disgusting IMO.

Absolutely.
If I saw Caylee and thought for sure it was her, I would call 911. Never take my eyes off her and if the kidnappers left with her, I would follow and heck If I felt I had to, I would ram my brand new Lincoln into the kidnappers car..what the heck, I have tons of insurance, besides that, if it was truly Caylee I would do any and everything. The majority of people would.

It's all HS and it's all coming from the bowels of the A's. It's to the point it is gross and disgusting, it has gone beyond disturbing.
