So maybe this is why they don't tell anyone to call 9-1-1.

http://www.cfnews13.com/uploadedFiles/cynthia%20anthony.pdf

In Cindy's August 4, 2008, interview, she says that a woman in PA called 911 and the operator told her, "We all have reason to believe the child is dead, but I'll take your statement anyway." p. 5/58

And yes, I do understand that Cindy tends to exaggerate (i.e. lie).

Okay, well if you were that person, wouldn't you still try so that the call would be recorded? 911 calls are always recorded, and that would make for a great piece of defense evidence in court.

If it were me, I would also point the child out to others and even ask the people she was with if anyone ever says she looks like Caylee. I would try to take a picture of her with my cellphone. I'll bet every other person in FL these days has a phone with a camera, so even if the witness didn't have one they could find someone who did.

That way it wouldn't be just one anonymous tipster (isn't it amazing that none of these tipsters has ever been on TV with their pictures and the 911 recordings and the other witnesses in the store who back up the story???) but a whole group of people who could debate how much the child looked like Caylee and give descriptions of the adults she was with and the vehicle they left in and then we'd have something to go on.

But for now, to hear Cindy bash LE and the public for not trying hard enough when Casey has not made any effort to help find Caylee, I am over them. If there were the tiniest chance of Caylee being alive Cindy would be REALLY trying to find her instead of just muddying the waters of reasonable doubt.

Tomorrow's hot tip:

Caylee spotted in the mall with Elvis.

lol

Ya'll need to leave Elvis out of this, we all know he is playing Santa at the mall in Hoboken NJ. I know this for a fact cause I saw him...

Thanks, RR. I missed that post. You are correct. 2.6 days is the decomp number given in the report as being only what condition the body had deteriorated to at the point of being in the trunk. It doesn't say how long the body was in the car, only that the body had decomposed 2.6 days when it left the trunk and was no longer decomposing there.

Actually my take on this was that the body was in a stage of decomp equivalent to 2.6 days....in other words, early stages of decomp.

she said she had seen the tape and law enforcment was looking into it and it MIGHT be caylee. It was pretty obvious she knew it wasnt caylee...........

If they thought even for a mila-second it could be Caylee, trust me, they would have never left Gainsville. They would have DEMANDED LE go RIGHT NOW to see.

I must have read that report a zillion times and could not clearly understand what they said. I just recently read on another thread that they interpreted it as from day 1 (sorry) to no more than 2.6 days. There are so many variables that come into play here...the temperature has a lot to do with it. But I really would like an expert to tell me that Caylee was placed in the trunk close to TOD and stayed in the trunk for @2.6 number of days...or was it that there was an elapsed time of almost 2.6 days of decomposition taking place and the measurement of the air is measuring just that. That make sense?

Why even mention 2.6 days then? Why not just say early stages?

I saw an article in the media thread that said the girl WAS not Caylee. Doesn't surprise me.

I guess they have to take specific measurements. That's the science of it.

It makes sense to me why they said 2.6 days!:)

Oh...I missed something again, right?

I get what the report says but, I was asking Believe09 why they thought 2.6 days was meaning early stage of decomp? sorry I was not trying to be rude.
