So maybe this is why they don't tell anyone to call 9-1-1.

In Cindy's August 4, 2008, interview, she says that a woman in PA called 911 and the operator told her, "We all have reason to believe the child is dead, but I'll take your statement anyway." p. 5/58
And yes, I do understand that Cindy tends to exaggerate (i.e. lie).

Thanks, RR. I missed that post. You are correct. 2.6 days is the decomp number given in the report as being only what condition the body had deteriorated to at the point of being in the trunk. It doesn't say how long the body was in the car, only that the body had decomposed 2.6 days when it left the trunk and was no longer decomposing there.
she said she had seen the tape and law enforcment was looking into it and it MIGHT be caylee. It was pretty obvious she knew it wasnt caylee...........
I must have read that report a zillion times and could not clearly understand what they said. I just recently read on another thread that they interpreted it as from day 1 (sorry) to no more than 2.6 days. There are so many variables that come into play here...the temperature has a lot to do with it. But I really would like an expert to tell me that Caylee was placed in the trunk close to TOD and stayed in the trunk for @2.6 number of days...or was it that there was an elapsed time of almost 2.6 days of decomposition taking place and the measurement of the air is measuring just that. That make sense?Actually my take on this was that the body was in a stage of decomp equivalent to 2.6 days....in other words, early stages of decomp.

I saw an article in the media thread that said the girl WAS not Caylee. Doesn't surprise me.If they thought even for a mila-second it could be Caylee, trust me, they would have never left Gainsville. They would have DEMANDED LE go RIGHT NOW to see.
I guess they have to take specific measurements. That's the science of it.Why even mention 2.6 days then? Why not just say early stages?

Oh...I missed something again, right? It makes sense to me why they said 2.6 days!![]()

I thought I might have got in the middle somehow...sorry. No worries.I get what the report says but, I was asking Believe09 why they thought 2.6 days was meaning early stage of decomp? sorry I was not trying to be rude.
