Megyn Kelly did indeed say it... came right out of her mouth.
I apologize and clarify: I don't question that Megyn Kelly said it, but that isnt' where I heard it.

No way. You owe me Coke. I just used the "cooks in the kitchen" phrase.
No, I don't think they're confused either... but IMO the lawyers want to confuse us.
I also, I know very unpopular opinion, think there is a distinct possibility that Lisa is still alive.

Agreed to all.I agree, that attys are going to spin. However, in regard to these records...how do you spin something in black and white? I think the spin comes in where they start pointing to others using the phones. Which IMO is still a distinct possibility.
JMO, but I think what they are saying in regard to the times MW's number was attempted and the v/m attempts were made they are being truthful. Why would they lie about something that can so easily be proven?
I think FBI has an extreme amount of technology that some of us here can't even begin to comprehend. Some of us here can't even comprehend how a cell phone works. That's not to say anything bad about anybody, it's just how it is. I know for example that I had to enter our phone numbers in my mother-in-laws cell phone, because she was carrying the phone and her little phone book and didn't know she could store the info in the phone. Our parents call us occassionally for issues on computers that are actually simple things that I would have thought everybody knew. I know I have learned a few new things reading the phone threads. I also know that my 11 year old knows alot more about some technology than I do. Technology is an amazing thing and some of the concepts are just not understood or even comprehendable to some. I think that is what has led to alot of the confusion here.
I personally will take at face value the reports about the phone records of that night as fact. I know it was info from the atty. I do believe the info came from the FBI though.
What I don't know is who made the attempts to call out? Still on the fence here. :fence: I just can't right now say that I definatively think DB did something to the baby. I have another theory that involves drugs and money. I have seen what drugs do to people and it is not good. It makes people totally irrational and only worried about their next high. The drugs around these days are alot worse than they were in the 70's IMO. I also, I know very unpopular opinion, think there is a distinct possibility that Lisa is still alive.
These are all just my thoughts and opinions.
Snipped By Me for Space..
Not being mean or snarky at all but, I don't know if unpopular is a good choice of words. I think if baby Lisa was found alive it would be very popular among the great folks here at WS. I sadly think that most likely she is no longer alive, but it would be absolutely fantastic if she were found alive and okay. I pray every day for just such an occourence! :twocents:
I guess because that is all of the info WE have been given?Re: the missing three cell phones. Why does it appear everyone is focused on pings and locations of just one?
Serious question.
I should probably make aware that I haven't been able to find LE releasing this timeline of the Irwin phones. It was released via their spokesperson on a new segment of Fox prior, but just a tad before their attorney said in an interview that they were considered suspects.

LE, from what I have concluded, hasn't said anything today to any media what-so-ever.
At this point, I am so very weary on what I read, see or listen to in this case -- and I find that such a shame.
I am only left to pray for little Lisa.
I guess because that is all of the info WE have been given?
Good question though!
I appreciate your point of view, I just don't buy into the theory of a bunch of cooks in the kitchen. If DB tried to use her own phone and couldn't, then went to bed and someone else sneaked in and tried to use her phone, twice, while manipulating a 10 month old baby, unbeknownst to anyone else... then this is reading much more like a movie script than real life. IMO.
"This phone problem that they had was when the phones were cut off and could only recieve incoming phone calls and incoming texts from early in the afternoon. She recieved a uh, her husband, uh not her husband, her fiance Jeremy tried to contact her early in the evening to tell her that he was going to be late coming home, it went direct to the verizon message, stating that the phone is not operable. "
This statement is a problem to me because it suggests that Jeremy was calling from his personal phone that couldn't make outgoing calls because of unpaid bill. If he had called from the work phone (which I think is probably on a different payment plan) DB should have been able to receive the incoming call and Jeremy wouldn't have been routed to Verizon. But his personal phone was supposedly on the counter being stolen.
You have MW/jersey/Dane et al in the mix now; these are not people who are 9-5ers.
You've got, from MW's mouth, 8 people in a house using her phone. You've got a convicted arsonist who was also tampering with a witness [see his NJ record], who is comfortable crawling into boarded up houses to crash, who knows what is up with Dane yet, he's missing too.
These are people who will sell a GPS, remember that jersey has a vehicle tampering count and JI/DB had things stolen from their car in the driveway, was the GPS stolen?
No one can ascribe middle class concepts to this circus.
Who would sneak into a house? Someone who would enter into an abandoned house to live.
Who would steal three phones? Someone who is in a house with 8 people and 1 phone.
They don't call them INSANE Clown Posse for nothing. Juggalos/Juggalettes are not all church going, voter registration card carrying, Cadillac driving people.
Stolen cell phones buy you a rock/joint/blunt.
I understand. But JP might have just stated what 'restricted' meant. Maybe they were beyond restricted or this was a multiple offense and they actually were totally cut off. I doubt the phone company told them exactly how their phone would be restricted/cut off. I don't know - all I know is that the FBI has the info and I believe they showed it to the lawyers.
In this case though, it could have rang on her end but she didn't hear (asleep or outside) it then when it came time to leave a message, it went to the message that the phones were not in service and did not have the ability to leave a message.Just to clarify that I didn't mean that JI was routed to the payment center, necessarily, it could have been just a message about inoperable phones, but IMO he shouldn't have gotten either one if DB was able to receive incoming calls.
It's a very confusing statement. What else is new lol.
SBMWhen using triangulation pinging, how many feet give or take would the accuracy of a ping location be?
Oriah,
I think we would have seen multiple searches in different areas like we had seen at 34th & Brighton (which was searched three times) IF these phones pinged in other locations or seperate locations.
If none of the phones pinged no further than a 1/3 or 1/5 mile away from the Irwin home, then
1: I am sure they were all disposed of together.
2: I have believed for weeks the last ping from any of the phones were at 34th & Brighton.
I also said this weeks ago... What makes a phone stop pinging/working all together? Water... Someone go toss one in the toilet and report back :floorlaugh:
There was also a nearby creek pumped, so LE either has knowledge of that particular area as well, or they are working off of the same theory as I have. Water...
If they are in the Missouri river, you won't see it getting pumped or dammed up. That's an almost impossible task.
I wish there was an expert who could discuss pinging with us, because I have some questions about it.
Example: How often does a phone ping/report to a tower?
If a battery is removed from a phone, would a capacitor in a phone still contain enough power to keep a phone pinging, and how long?
If a sim card is removed from a sim card capable phone, would the phone still maintain an IP address to be identified and pinged?
When there is activity from a phone, making a call, attempting to access the internet, is the phone pinged when you attempt to do either one of these, or are these pings just random pings every x amount of seconds, minutes, hours?
When using triangulation pinging, how many feet give or take would the accuracy of a ping location be?
-------------------
IMO if I were to go with the theory I came up with, I believe (just using 5 minutes as an example since we don't know how often a phone pings):
I believe LE knows the phones pinged at that residence until x:xxam
I believe LE knows the phones pinged at one additional location away from the Irwin residence, 34th & Brighton.
I believe there was enough time (going off my "if a phone pinged every 5 minutes theory") inbetween a ping at 34th & Brighton and some access point to the Missouri River (even driving across the I-435 bridge or the Cheateau bridge) for someone to throw all of the phones in the river.
I believe based off of the pings, LE knows where the attempted call to MW was made from IF it was 11:57pm. I also believe based off of the pings of the voice mail access attempts at 3:17 and 3:22 am IF these times are correct. I hate to speculate on the actual times at this point given the source.
