Cell Phone Activity Timeline as of 11/11

The other thing that hasn't set well with me from the very beginning, was how "we" learned about them and their importance. DB and JI right from the get go brought up the phones. We kept hearing that the phones went missing with BL, but yet they never tried to call them. Wouldn't that be a logical thing to do if you were trying to find your missing child?

bbm = Not if you knew they were restricted and couldn't be called.

Well shoot, I thought there was an interview where she said that when LE gave her the phone back the history was deleted. Did LE even take her phone?

Somehow I think that was rumour -- I don't believe that she ever got her phones back from LE at all. When asked she said that FBI had them.

No, Dane has not been accused of taking the B/I shotguns. It was stated here that he is said to have two shotguns. My point is that a lot of people have two shotguns...including JI & DB. (No judgement just a fact.) If you want to know about the weapons in the bedroom just go to the two videos from inside the house. One was done just after the 17 Search warrant with CS, the lawyer of the day, and the other was earlier. The guns and the bat are leaning against the exterior wall just beside the oscillating standing fan. We only know that they are there and not how they got there or when. We also have no knowledge as to whether they are empty or loaded.

we go round and round with this one. But she also yelled to JI to call 911, and he asked well where are the phones?
SO confusing, all of this:banghead:

All they had to do was pay the bill BUT I would be surprised if, under the circumstance of a baby being missing, that said phone company wouldn't lift the restrictions so that perhaps the ringing of the phones might be heard.

I think it's a pretty well known fact and has been discussed extensively over the last 6 weeks that phones w/no or restricted service can still dial 911.

That part would actually go along with DB being adamant to LE that they didn't work.

When did she turn adamant? Oh man, I can't keep up with her. Will somebody explain to me about her father's phone? He gave her his phone on Sunday to use for awhile. Where are the cell records on that one?

:waitasec: Now all three phones are dead again?

On Oct 6, Deb said "one phone wasn't working".

One of the phones (DB's) was broken, the speaker/mic wasn't functioning correctly. Her grandfather gave her one of his old phones the day before. The service to (presumably) DB's & JI's phone was restricted effective midday October 3. It is assumed, alluded to, rumored that DB was transferring numbers from her broken phone & JI's restricted phone to the phone her grandfather gave her and it is assumed, alluded to, rumored that she would then be moving her sim card over and using that phone.

I have been wondering why LE made the phone-related records available to the parent's team. Was this to help patch-up the relationship between them?

More importantly, I have to wonder whether or not LE made all of the records available. I get the impression LE made only a portion of the records available based on this article:

The article doesn't definitively state that LE made only a portion of the records available but says:

He said he has seen part of the records, but not all of them and has not reviewed them extensively.

"He" being BS.

I'm sure the DT has or can get the call records. That has been discussed at length in this thread. The records that I am wondering about are the so-called 'ping' records. This is the low-level cell phone tower data that is keep as a phone 'roams' from tower to tower.

LE--by making only a portion of these records available--can make it seem as if there was no further activity beyond 3:22am. Which means the records neither implicate or clear DB.

I truly have to wonder if there is ping data from later which LE didn't make available to the parent's team.

Also, I found it interesting that a pawn shop was searched on 10/13 according to the Websleuth case map:

Did the ping data lead LE to that pawn shop? For all we know LE could already have the phones.

My understanding is that BS has seen NONE of the info from LE - just the lawyers, who met with FBI on Nov.1'st for 3 hours. BS only saw the monthly bills (I guess you could call them?) and he said that his 'sources' went through them extensively for a year to ensure that MW's # was never called or received. MW's # also did not appear on ANY of the records that he had. Does that include the last bill? He certainly made it sound that way, stating that there would be a reason for it not to show up. I'll def. agree with spin on his interview, but all in all it made sense to me. :)

yes, i have read that. Over and over. But the question is, and has been, did DB/ JI know that? Did Verizon tell them earlier that day when they lost their coverage, "oh, but you can call 911". I certainly wouldnt know that. In fact, i bought a landline phone last week to plug in in case of an emergency and if my cell phone was dead. But got no dial tone. Dont have that option in my area unless i subscribe, i just learned. So did they both just KNOW that?

SBM I haven't heard anything about BS being in the FBI meeting with JT and John P. I'm assuming BS has seen the phone records since those would be available to DB and JI. The ping and other phone info were only available through the FBI meeting.

The factual information we have on the cellphones that were reported missing is practically zilch.

I never knew that either so I don't find it surprising that the parents didn't know it.

I am not sure where I read it, but the report was that LE told her about the call to MW and said something like it was impossible because they had no service.

I think it's an FCC rule when it comes to cell phones but don't hold me to that. I also think you have to establish service first.

Remember if they were restricted they are still technically on their calling plan, just blocked from calling toll numbers.
