There are formulas based on wind speed that give you an estimate of what it’s going to do to the bullet. I remember being taught that in the Marines during basic training, but I can’t recall it now.it was mentioned upthread there was also a slight wind. How do professional snipers deal with wind....training, experience?
They look for visual cues (which way a flag is blowing, trees, etc).
It kind of becomes intuitive over time.
This was not a long shot, so the wind wouldn’t have had a great effect. These calculations are more important for much longer distances.
