I have to agree. How and where did this information come from?

It's called investigating taze..uh, uh, tater..
Why can't the media(local & national)provide the 'American Public' with the truth?
Instead, they are spoon fed information by LE and the Justice System and make backroom deals.

Of all the articles and media segments on Gary Hilton's Campsite/Staging Area. Not a single one, reports why the Park Officials identified it as GMH's Site.

How many more of his innocent victims clothing items are in those duffle bags? How many years or decades had he been using the site?
So many questions. So few answers....

It's not me, but thank you anyway.

I tried to locate the Game Warden at the Coopers Creek WMA Check Station. Think he was napping. I could hear him in the cabin but he wouldn't answer the door.

I spent half a day trying to locate the site and walked all over those mountains through streams and dowsed several locations, was getting a little disappointed and then ran into the friendly couple camping deep in the wilderness.

There is a Convenience Store located at Coopers Creek Rd. and HWY 60. The Attendant said GMH frequented the store over the years.

Stoped by the Suches FD. They were unaware of the campsite and said there was no news on Kristi Cornwell.

Why would he store his dolly etc in the open camp site and not in a mini warehouse that Tabor obviously could have paid for and written off on taxes? Wonder why?

Those panties could be from the stash that the law denies but we know for a fact were found in Jimbo Beale's camper. Or they could be long to the lady from Old Town. Or one of the women found dismembered around the time Cheryl went missing. And he certainly had time to have gone through Cheryl's things at her house to have gotten more clothes. Why would Gary Hilton have PUT HIS NAME ON HIS DUFFLE BAG? Are we to take from that these are military duffle bags left over from his military time? Why would he still have those?

This is just too hinky to me. And why don't you say you got it from an anonymous source if that's what you did? Just wondering.

Again, remember once the panties were found, the Park Official backed away.

he flew under the radar for many, many years, due to his craziness.

I also do not believe one tenth of what was in his confession ( Emerson murder). He does, however relish all of the attention he has gotten, and would be flattered by much of what you credit him with.

NNY, thanks for your reply. It's not my intention to flatter him or shine the light of attention. I simply want the truth of his reign of terror as to his total number of victims and their identity and location as well as any accomplices.
He flew under the radar for so many years due to his creativeness, IMO. 80 license queries in GA?

GMH, is not the first, last, or only. Silence is why he was so effective and oblivious for decades. Knowledge is the only deterrent that will prevent this from happening again to my family or others..

Good question, yanceyb. Guess the only logical answer is that the FBI is heading up this investigation under a multi agency task force and all evidence and information is being assimilated in Leon County, Florida, not only for the Cheryl Dunlap investigation, but for John & Irene Bryant(NC) and the many others.

I have commented many times concerning Gary Michael Hilton, torching his fiance's house in 1982, with occupants in Dekalb Co., GA. Why wasn't GMH, incarcerated since 1982? Why is the media(local & national)silent and not reporting this?

He set two gallon jugs of gasoline in the carport of the Green family home with 2 strings leading up the driveway where he sat in his "BLACK CAMERO" ( A NEW CAR TO ADD TO THE LIST OF HIS VEHICLES) then set the strings on fire. They, Ms. Green and her family (her sister and brother) members heard a noise ran out of the house and were able to put out the fire with a hose. It happened at 0001 hours. When Hilton was driving off he hit a parked car, thus the hit & run charge. One of the young ladies in the Green family had dated Hilton a few times, but broke it off. That was in Feb. 1982. In May, 2 weeks before the fire on May 28, 1982 he started calling to harass her asking if she wanted to make some money prostituting for him. She said he sounded like he had eaten a few ludes and she hung up on him. He was arrested on First Degree Arson charges and booked into Dekalb County jail. He lived at the time at 5135 West Mountain St. #A-17, Stone Mountain, GA. The report indicates the Green's signed statements that they knew who the arsonist was and could positively identify him as Hilton, but I guess he just found a way to talk his way out of it or the girls were just too afraid of him and what he might do next.

Case #82-103081 & #82-103082, the report ends with case is closed and cleared, pending criminal prosecution. Hilton signed for a copy of the report on June 11, 1982.
