So I pulled up a few versions of this campsite find and every one differs slightly. One even says an employee recognized the belongings as Hiltons. Huh? How that be? Says they loaded it up. How much junk was there to use that word 'loaded'? And if so much junk why all this time its been there and not one hunter saw it until now? Now I got to ask Wolfscratch something about that house by him that burned down-were there any out buildings or a basement or such where this stuff could have been stored up and taken out before this arson, excuse me-I mean fire?
Jennagirl, you had it right the first time, 'It was absolutely Arson'. The house became a symbol of evil to everyone that knew its recent history. Guess someone decided to extinguish this evil once and for all..
GMH, used natural blinds to camoflauge his staging area or dens. The den was described to be in a remote location of the Forest and was not a designated camping area.
Do you have any links with pics of the campsite?
Deductive reasoning says: GMH, unloaded his van in the staging area to make room for his next abduction victim; Meredith Hope Emerson. In his interview of 01/07/08 with the GBI, GMH, failed to reveal his destination after attempting to use her ATM card at the Gainesvile, GA, bank. She refused to give him her pin numbers for the 2nd time that night. I am confident that his destination on 01/01/08 was the Fannin County Campsite. He failed to reveal this location to the GBI because it obviously held incriminating evidence.
Meredith was a fighter, a kindred spirit. Due to her determination and refusal to give in to him, his evil trail of terror came to an abrupt end three days later..
Almost two years later, she's still fighting...
