Case Information

Christine Paddock was found beaten, strangled, and dumped in the woods of southern Kalamazoo County on April 22, 2004. Her body was discovered by waterworks employees at the edge of a farm field in Schoolcraft Township near near E. V Avenue and Portage Road.

Autopsy results determined that her remains had been there for months, and that the homicide itself had likely occurred at another location.

Paddock lived in the City of Kalamazoo prior to her death, and she was reported missing to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety on September 25, 2003. Christine was 39 years old and leaves behind two children.

From the article “"She had multiple blunt force trauma to her body, she had broken ribs," said McGehee. "She she had been strangled, and a plastic bag had been placed over her head, so she was also asphyxiated."” It also states that she was a known prostitute. I wonder if they have DNA on this one?
