And there was that weird set of pings in the middle of the time when she was allegedly at JG's, when her phone pinged at Tony's apartment....

This idea is spot on in my opinion. There is no innocuous reason for her to have went to Jesse's that day. When I saw this hearing I understood fully where Mr. Grund was coming from taking Rob and LP warning that they are trying to pin this on Jesse seriously. Can you imagine, this is the young man that had promised his life to her and was going to marry her and raise her baby as his own....she is all too happy to have Mr. Baez go after him. The jury is going to despise these tactics if the learn of them.
Was it Casey or Cindy or both that showed the card that Jesse had written to Tracey, Rob and LP? Did any of the numbers Lee was given by Casey ring to Jesse's phone? Of course not. Cindy not knowing how to contact the babysitter is very baffling to me, because she is so controlling, I cannot imagine her not calling up and asking if she can tell Caylee goodnight.

Az - very interesting info about the phone calls/number. Casey obviously had to come up with a way to construct a fake number that she could consistently remember.

Random thoughts here -

I think if Cindy had tried JP's number originally and had gotten a vague, unidentifiable answer on a machine that we would see a lot more calls to that number until she actually got a human to answer the phone. My guess is that she did immediately find out that that was not Zanny's number.

The July 3rd call is very interesting, especially in light of the fact that a lot of people seem to think that Cindy might have found something in the yard that day that sent her into panic mode. That is also the day that Casey got her tattoo (early in the day, if memory serves). Cindy calls the fake Zanny number at 11:52 that morning, and according to my notes, (and I'm sure there were texts and missed calls flying throughout the afternoon) Casey calls Cindy at 3:21pm - they have a 17 minute conversation in which Casey constructs the "Caylee's at Universal, you can go see her" BS to get Cindy out of the house. She then goes back to the house with a heavily tattooed male (according to Brian B) to get whatever it was she needed. I wonder if indeed something alarming was found in the yard that day or was it just the discovery of the fake phone number that alarmed/pissed Cindy off. Guess it could have been both -the Anthonys find something in the yard, Cindy demands a number to speak to Caylee, and then the day evolves from there.

I can see Casey at the house on July 15 protesting that her mother dialed that number wrong when Cindy was throwing that back up at her that night. So Cindy calls it again either to prove to Casey that she hadn't been wrong or purely out of sheer panic. You can tell from those calls that Cindy's panic level was rising throughout the night.

Weren't the As doing yard work around that time? Maybe KC lost her "Tiffany" ring while digging or "cutting bamboo" and CA or GA found it out there. Could be why CA asked her where it was during that jail visit - I always thought that was an odd question. Cindy could have been trying to trap KC . . .

I believe that was the yard work date, and I suppose the fact that their anxiety level about Caylee seemed to escalate that day has made us think that they found something. I've heard people say they think it was mama's clothes, the ring, one of Caylee's toys, a dug out place in the yard, etc. Time will tell on that one!

BBM Was the 'yard work' the pavers they had installed? Or was this when the Anthony's were checking under the playhouse? I recall early on LE checking in the yard, and rumors that Caylee had been buried back there. Wonder what Cindy might have found in the yard around 7/3 to alarm her so.

I wondered about this too. Was TonE's jeep a typical "jeep" or was it more like a Jeep Cherokee? Because I could see him mistaking a Cherokee for another SUV, but not the regular Jeep. Who knows, maybe if it had a hard top it wouldn't have looked so distinctive as I think of Jeeps being.

Another weird thing about that time frame - JWG noted in the July2nd ping thread that there were 3 pings in the middle of the day that appear to be consistent with the area of the Baez Law Firm. Did ya'll ever get that figured out? (ETA - Notice I said "ya'll" - that is over my head and for you ubersleuths, LOL!! Ya'll are amazing!!)

And that's the best explanation yet for how she found Baez-While she was driving around wondering if she covered all of her tracks, she passed by his firm and remember it later-But she couldn't tell her parents that she found him that way, it would give away the fact that she had been lurking around town. And she compulsively lies about everything in an attempt to steer people as far away from the truth as possible.

Jayla - I don't know what the signage outside JB's office reads like (if it's obvious or not, but from what RH's blog said, it sounds like she may have already known him - he appeared too quickly on the scene after she was arrested for logic. She may have met him at Fusion (he lives like two miles down the road from the owner) and talked to him there. I always thought that little smirk she had when she told her parents how she found and contacted him was her way of acting smug about the lie. If she was driving by there, it would seem she knew she might have need for an attorney soon.

June 30--Casey finally got a gas can and some gas for her car, courtesy of Amy, but the car is gone. But she still has Tony's Jeep, as he's in New York. That night, Casey drives around all over the place in Tony's Jeep.

July 1--Shower at Jesse's in the AM, with weird pings back at Tony's in the middle of that time period. Near home in the late evening in Tony's Jeep, at a time when she should know Cindy is home (and--perhaps unbeknownst to her--George is also home), with 2 odd jaunts south and toward the airport, a call to Ryan right before one of those jaunts, and a call FROM the house right before the other one. Off to Fusian area (on a Tuesday?), then to stay at JP/Ricardo's with Amy. Midnight flurry of calls from the house (all to voicemail), 3 AM call with Tony for an hour, checks voice mail, then runs out near the A home again from about 4-5 am and calls Ryan.

July 2--Casey shows up in the AM at Ricardo's, tells him she's washing clothes, writes Diary of Days, schedules her "Bella Vita" tattoo for the next day.

July 3--Cindy is going crazy trying to find Casey and Caylee. She is calling fake people (NOTICE HOW THIS IS ON TOPIC FOR THE THREAD LOL), real people, Fusian, Ryan, Lee, anyone she can think of, running out to Universal, having Lee run around the downtown bars, etc. She has truly lost it. That night, she gives up and writes "My Caylee Is Missing." Meanwhile, Casey is getting a tattoo, hanging out, and trying to enjoy what she appears to think is her new "Bella Vita" with no worries.

Ok...did they ever get gas for the car...I thought Amy said she didn't...and that we assumed Casey had driven by and seen that the car was no longer there...but there's actually no proof of that, right? Just trying to set my mind straight.

A long long time ago, BJB came up with a possible date for George chasing Casey down the freeway in (IIRC) Tony's Jeep. However, the route taken that day would actually have been in exactly the OPPOSITE direction of the route described by GA.

I'm not sure we have confirmation on the gas purchase, just the gas can purchase. The pings suggest Casey went to Amscot and discovered the car was missing, but we don't know that for sure either.

..i usually think-------if their lips are moving------they are lying, but if you've seen the video of the ( hopespring house ) ----cindy is a panda fanatic.so i'm sure he would know if he were chasing down cindy's vehicle.

..( of course he could also SAY he saw the panda decal, when he did not----but why not just say that she was in a jeep ( tony's ), it WAS her, and he was chasing after her ? )

..also, they have "e-pass" , linked to each vehicle ( for toll-booths ) , which substantiates when each vehicle drove through a toll.

..if cindy actually HAD contact info for "zanny"-----on the mystery post-it-note/stuck in her address book------there is NO way that cindy, getting the constant run around from kc, would not have AT LEAST called, if only to have spoken to caylee for a few minutes .

..being on vacation, cindy could have called morning, noon, or night, at SOME point caylee would have not been "napping" etc. and available to take cindy's call.

..by july 3rd-----when cindy is getting frantic!----she would not have sent lee on a "see what you can find out" mission------she would have had lee ACCOMPANY HER to the address she had for zanny-----stormed in, grabbed caylee, and brought her "home".

..problem was : cindy did not have zanny's phone number, or address, or had ever heard her freakin' name......

..then----when lee brings kc's stuff back to the house----and lo and behold there is cash !!----cindy grabs it!, "it's probably MINE anyway"!

..( ummmm--cindy, didn't amy tell you a few HOURS ago that kc stole HER $400.00 ----her puerto rico trip money???) ( that she WORKED HARD FOR..)

..so, like kc offerring to look for money that SHE stole in the 1st place-----cindy, snatching up $$$'s ( that were potentially THE stolen money) ----like mother, like daughter.....
