Well one photo at least he doesn't look terrifying in.
Well one photo at least he doesn't look terrifying in.
"My favorite thing to do in my freetime is exercise, specifically, running. I played football, baseball, and rugby in highschool so I love sports. I have heard there are some runners in the dolphin family so show me where the good trails are at since I’m in need of a go-to running trail.
I am also a big animal lover. Cats are my favorite animal (my cat Khan in the picture with me), but don’t worry dog moms, I love dogs too! I am honored to be a part of your team and I can’t wait to meet my students/fellow staff. Go Dolphins!
Sources say McGann had moved to Northwest Arkansas to teach, although it wasn’t immediately known where he was to be employed."

UPDATE | State Park Murder Suspect Arrested - Jonesboro Right Now
Andrew McGann, 28, a teacher, charged with two counts capital murderjonesbororightnow.com
I get that, but he stabbed two adults to death, which is way beyond creepy soccer coaches, IMOThey definitely are very trusted. Unfortunately predators are attracted to positions where they have access to children (church, schools, youth sport/clubs, etc.). I'm not saying that we know that that is the case here. But it's such a shame that these predators hide among people who love and nurture our children.
Plus all the job changes and his age (early to mid 20s) may indicate the onset of serious mental illness like schizophrenia, etc. He sounds like he was falling apart mentally speaking. His attack was poorly planned, disorganized. JMOI think he was creeping around the girls and the father (and mother too) stood up to protect them.
So sad! But the parents did what decent parents do.
Rest in peace, Clinton and Cristen. Your daughters escaped and are in loving care.

You feel it all around him in both photos strongly. What does an evil aura look like?
Very shocking to me. I had pictured someone homeless, or drug dealing. He was capable of getting an education, teaching. Very perplexing.
This has some more details.
4th grade teacher for 1 year
5th grade teacher for a year
then changes schools and is 5th grade at the northwoods fine arts academy.
Now this year moved to Arkansas and was at a new school.
That is 4 different schools/grades in 4 years.
Also, coach of running club.
Or seeking to quell a relentless voice or urge before the school year so he didn't loose yet another teaching job? In a crazy, psychotic, maybe schizophrenic way?Couldn't wait for school to start so went hunting for one?
He couldn't have been terrifying or he'd never have got past the hiring interview.Well one photo at least he doesn't look terrifying in.
I think he intended to abduct one. I think he had a knife to intimidate a child. If the goal was one of the girls, then he picked a horrible place to accomplish that. It seems it's a busy trail and most kids will be there with adults, unlike at school when parents typically are not t here with them. Did he want to abduct someone or what is the end goal if he wants one of the girls and he picks a family where BOTH parents are with them?? How did he see this ending any other way than how it did? Did he think he'd kill the parents and take both girls alive?
Yes, that is something parents need to be aware of. When I had kids, my older sister warned me about coaches who try to get too close to the family - they can groom the whole family into trusting them and will even take years to develop that trust. And then the have access to the kids to abuse.
I know that sounds paranoid, but we kept close to the kids' practices, travel, etc. and my husband volunteered to coach or assist. And we didn't extend the relationships into friendships but merely coach/parent/athlete.
Be careful out there, parents.

I now think that's what he was hoping to do. I initially believed he went there to kill randomly, but him being a teacher and from some other things I've gathered, I've definitely changed my view.If the goal was one of the girls, then he picked a horrible place to accomplish that. Easy mistake. I'm in Mississippi and we always get mixed up with Missouri and Michigan. Thanks Alaska vs Arkansas vs Arizona always gets me mixed up.
Corrected my original post, thanks.
Exactly this. Even the one from the intro from 22. Those eyes have darkness in them. You feel it all around him in both photos strongly.
Of course! But my point is that people with bad motives toward children are often attracted to those professions and past-times and this guy might have been too. I wonder what else is in his past that might have been a flag.I get that, but he stabbed two adults to death, which is way beyond creepy soccer coaches, IMO
And he wasn't a basement dweller as I suspected, but someone out in the communities were he lived,.I wouldn't have thought he was a runner, from the photo taken in the park. I would have thought he was overweight and doughy.
That Youtuber is a real tool ... he didn't care about the investigation or the family. It was all about himDang she said the podcast hurt the investigation. It's a shame really. I get that people want info, but some things are too much too soon and when LE doesn't have a chance to do the initial leg work, it can get in the way.
I'm guessing his computers may reveal a lot.I now think that's what he was hoping to do. I initially believed he went there to kill randomly, but him being a teacher and from some other things I've gathered, I've definitely changed my view.
How the hell he planned to do this is anyone's guess, but I think we'll learn those parents are heroes.

I can feel evil and negativity, but not see it. I am genuinely curious what you see.
