That Youtuber is a real tool ... he didn't care about the investigation or the family. It was all about him

Wish they could file charges against him!! Hopefully one day we can discuss the details of what he did.

Completely disagree-
If the public is not getting any communication and people cannot contact LE with tips- this is what the public is going to do.

LE and Public Servants and Protectors work for the public- there was no info until six hours after the murders. People in the park did not know what had happened.

The tip line was hit or miss- people wanted to help and could not get through.

The responsibility to get info to the public should not be on a PodCaster

The Witnesses called the PodCaster- and did so Sunday evening because they could not get through to LE.
It is their eye witness that led to the sketch.
How can the public help if they do not have a description that includes- Age and Height??
Were LE afraid the guy would be caught sooner?
So if Law Enforcement and Public Officials, and Public Servants are not working for the public- who are they working for? They are elected and paid by the public.

The Proof is in what happened- So was the investigation botched and the guy went on the run? Did he go into hiding? No, he drove the escape car to get a haircut in the city where he lives and works- 40 minutes from the murders!
He wasn’t hiding.

The post read: Hello my name is Andrew McGann. I am very excited to join the Dolphin family as a 4th Grade Math and Writing Teacher. I graduated from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) in May with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have been a substitute for the past two years in Tulsa County, Oklahoma and a student teacher for the Spring 2022 semester in Broken Arrow Public Schools in a 4th Grade Math and Science classroom.

This is a year of firsts for me: first year teaching, first year in LISD, and first year living in Texas. I think LISD is an excellent place to build a career and a life for myself as that is my intention in coming here from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

My favorite thing to do in my free time is exercise, specifically, running. I played football, baseball, and rugby in high school so I love sports. I have heard there are some runners in the dolphin family so show me where the good trails are at since I’m in need of a go-to running trail.

I am also a big animal lover. Cats are my favorite animal (my cat Khan in the picture with me), but don’t worry dog moms, I love dogs too! I am honored to be a part of your team and I can’t wait to meet my students/fellow staff. Go Dolphins!

Oh my, he was a teacher at Donald Elementary, in Flower Mound?? In Lewisville ISD? That is north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
I have questions… oh OK to TX to AR, he jumped schools and states?

It looks like a game of Kick the Creep down the road. Why did he leave Lewisville?
Running from creep vibes and victims left in his wake- did anyone think to mandatory reporting and kick off an investigation??
In Texas every PERSON is a Mandatory Reporter- parents can’t complain if they don’t report. Children can also report- there is no age limit. It is a 1-800 anonymous hotline.

Gee, same story different day. We need more Aaron Spencers in this world! People have a right to protect their children.
If LE doesn’t protect our children then parents are going to try- and now two parents have died trying to protect their daughters from a perv!! It is possible this guy should have been behind bars already.

Yes, yes, yes.

If you search “Andrew Mcgann Oklahoma” on Facebook, there’s a disturbing account of him being inappropriate towards little girls in his class. It’s written by a mother whose son had him as a teacher.

Allegedly the school did nothing, and this also goes to him apparently jumping around a lot.
omg sickening so overly fond of 9 and 10 year olds. The sports coach aspect is the most concerning as he may have had access to children out of the stricter school environment. School trips?
Reading some of the Facebook comments looks like he was now using the name Drew.

So in Texas all persons are mandatory reporters!

In Oklahoma different wording but same expectation, “any person”.
Standards for Making a Report
Citation: Ann. Stat. Tit. 10A, § 1-2-101; Tit. 21, § 1021.4

A report is required when any of the following apply:

  • Any person has reason to believe that a child under age 18 is a victim of abuse or neglect.
  • A physician, surgeon, other health-care professional (including doctors of medicine, licensed osteopathic physicians, residents, and interns), or midwife is involved in the prenatal care of expectant mothers or the delivery or care of infants and an infant tests positive for alcohol or a controlled dangerous substance or is diagnosed with neonatal abstinence syndrome or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
  • A commercial film and photographic print processor or computer technician has knowledge of or observes any film, photograph, videotape, negative, or slide depicting a child engaged in an act of sexual conduct.

This mom could have called in an anonymous tip so an investigation would begin.
Another case of Kick The Creep out from one school to another. This needs to stop.
People can report anonymously, they do not need to rely on school officials to prompt an investigation due to any suspicion of any kind of child abuse or neglect.

I had a feeling LE knew who he was from pretty early on.

The fact he is a teacher adds another more sinister layer to the case.

I still don’t believe this was an attempted abduction - I think LE would’ve released that early on in the case.

Im going for more of a peeping Tom in the bushes confronted by the girls father - a scuffle breaks out and the suspect has a knife.

Interesting.

So was that school possibly the school the Brink girls were going to be attending? Did they go to the school to enroll them recently? If so was this guy there? IMO

No, the family lived in Prairie Grove ARK, which is south of Fayettville, he was hired in Springdale which is north of Fayetteville, ARK

So it looks like he was targeting a female child, but did not know those specific children.

Creepy and terrifying, just glad he has been caught. Too many families with children have been concerned for five days.

From presser

Podcast hurt the investigation. Potentially alerted the suspect. LE was deliberate with information and timing of information.

He was so alerted he drove the escape car to the barber in the city where he lived to get a haircut.

Hmm, not the sharpest pencil in the box. And, not that concerned about being recognized.

Changed my mind on this being child abduction after waking up to the news of the teacher arrest, this wasn't a homeless transient living in a basement wanting to take a child off the streets. Changed motive to perv peeping Tom creep , confronted by a vigilante mode dad.

Something on Cristen's facebook posts that I read yesterday gives insight - am I allowed to quote on here ? Is the victim's FB page an approved MSM source to quote what they have said in the past (not victim blaming, but the vigilante defender protectiveness of the dad over his daughters motive insight).

Thanks

Trying to share the entire photo. This shows a good idea of his shoulders and frame.

Edited to add, click on the photo to see his face also. Hair seems darker here in this photo and he has some facial hair.
Seems like the people who said he looked like he had a 'hunched' posture were dead on

I now believe the guy acted creepy toward the daughters in some way, and the dad went into vigilante justice mode and the perp already on the edge, drew his knife and it escalated from there

Think he went with license plate hidden in case the perviness was caught on camera, think his motive perhaps exposing himself in front of little girls

graduated from Oklahoma state-tulsa in 2022 ?

Lewisville Independent School District 2022-2023 (4th grade)
Broken Arrow Public schools 2023-2024 (5th grade teacher)
Sand Springs Public Schools/northwood 2024-2025 (5th grade teacher)

and now was apparently going to teach in arkansas?

is that correct?

okay then.

I think that is correct, but most may not know where these schools are located.

Graduated from Oklahoma State, or University of Oklahoma?

22-23 4th grade, Donaldson Elementary, Lewisville ISD is north of DFW metroplex, TX
23-24 5th grade, Spring Creek Elementary, Broken Arrow, OK
24-25 5th grade, Sand Springs Elementary, Tulsa, OK

25-26 Springdale ISD, AR was hired to teach school- 1st day of school Aug 11

He sure did make the rounds
What prompted the murders? Parents protecting their children? That is my guess

I think? hope? that this was attempt #1 because he made mistakes. Weird, remarkable clothes. Multiple kids, multiple adults, trying to control or eliminate 4 at once is too risky. Your own flashy car at the scene. Going to someone else to change your hair afterward when you could have easily dyed or shaved it at home. Etc etc.

Agree, sounds like he isn’t a sharp pencil
So glad that is the case, and he was caught. Let’s hope the charges stick

I'm not all that surprised the perp has a "normal" career and education. We've seen this time and time again in serial murderers. Psychopaths are able to compartmentalize very well. Ted Bundy, Paul Bernardo, Dennis Rader, Herb Baumister, Rex Heurmann, Bruce McArthur, John Wayne Gacy, just to name a few. All of them appeared to have "normal" lives, their true depravity only known to very few people, if at all.
Interesting thing that follows from this comparison is - all of the ones you've mentioned are *serial* killers... This one last double murder may be just the tip of the iceberg in this case.

A teacher perv is not a Peeping Tom who sits back and watches children on the other side of a chain link fence. I think his duffle bag was exactly the size to carry a small child.

Teacher/Pervs of elementary school children have trusted hands-on access to children in a room by themselves five days a week, for a school year.

Not sure this has anything to do with the nature of Clinton Brinks- fathers not only have every right to defend/protect their children, they are obligated to do so and biologically wired to do so.
This pervs is just lucky Clinton Brink was not armed with a gun!

From a parent point of view- they did what I would have done. They risked their lives for their children. Not vigilante action- that is the action of a loving Mom and Dad. Parents would claim this as tragic, but success. The little girls were not physically harmed, or abducted.

Again, what was his objective in Devil's Den?

The information so far does not sound like he wanted only to kill the adults. I think he wanted one of the children.

I am so relieved and thankful for LE in Arkansas and for the public tips to get this guy off the streets and away from harming anyone ever again.
I agree, my opinion has been all along that he targeted the girls but parents fought back hard

He often uses the word "family" in his introductory posts on some of the schools' web/fb pages, looks like he badly wanted to belong but (judging by the number of schools he was teaching at) clearly failed to fit in. Probably (in his minds eye) these "families" rejected him. What's unusual in this case is that (the way I understand it) sexual predators who focus on kids seldom engage in agressive behaviour towards parents or adults in general. Basically, they're usually cowards. While it seems plausible that the father was stabbed during a confrontation where defended his child, it seems weird for this deviant to then proceed and attack the mother, rather than just run away. As someone here already mentioned, steroids (on top of sexual frustration) may have played a role here.

“This individual has not at any time come into contact with Springdale students or the families we serve," Cleveland said. "At this time, we cannot offer any additional information due to the ongoing investigation."
Okay, but he was about to be in contact with students. School starts Aug 11.

Are steroids known to cause aggro behaviour?

Agree, there is still something that does not add up, like a missing piece of the puzzle

It fits if the parents weren't prepared to stop with just getting the kids away from him (indecently exposing himself to them maybe) and walk away, maybe they were trying to report him / Photo him to report him, something like that. @AngTxGal , agree this is just good mom and dad right there, I should not have used the term vigilante justice as it sounds like over and above , they were brave and strong in their response to the perp
