A bit full of himself, hasn’t run into consequences often, a bit entitled

He chooses to work surrounded by children and adult women
He is sleeking around, trying to stay unnoticed, fearful the adult male lions will discipline him, and if he senses the gig may be up- he runs

I’m not being able to eliminate angry entitled pedo that may have some kind of brain injury

I can agree about it (resignation) not being the best practice.

But... we will have to "agree to disagree" regarding it being a standard practice.

Anecdotally, I have known a uhmm..... "problem teacher" in the DFW area via him being in my graduating class and also participating in the Debate Club.

Lets just say that he had a history of resignations and contracts not renewed in both suburban and semi rural areas in the region. On more than one occasion, he was allowed to finish the school year- then found out his contract was not being renewed.

Likewise, my children have gone to school in the DFW area. We had one elementary sexual predator get arrested and sentenced via a sting (evidence of actual criminal conduct). Two other creepers were allowed to resign (no evidence of criminal conduct. But... flew a series of sexual yellow and one red flag at the Middle School).

In addition, resignation verse criminal charges can also depend on who the victims were:

Our latest predator was at the High School level. Allowed to resign after being caught in the boys locker room with a minor. Evidently her victim did not feel particularity victimized. So, that may of played a part in the resignation ability despite evidence of criminal conduct.

Meanwhile another teacher with a penchant for playing and sharing risque video games was allowed to resign sans criminal charges by the District. But... he was later charged with low level criminal offenses after an irate mother of a female student personally went to the police.

Exactly, this Pass the Trash may be a common practice in large districts, but it isn’t ok, best practice and may be illegal.

I too am in the DFW area, and my kids are no longer in school here but they were.
We don’t often know cases that happen at the elementary level, typically when a perv has been caught it is because the student was older.

There are politicians right now beginning investigations into what happened in Lewisville and I believe heads are going to fly.

The other thing is that although we know this dude has some unhealthy interest in girls, it is not carved in stone the Brink girls were what make him attack. More, according to the LE Mr. Brink was ambushes by AM, which makes me think he was not hunting for children, he was after violence.

As for the hair, AM's hair have pretty distinct reddish tint. Seen in certain light they might appear red. Also, the composite looks an awful lot like AG. I would not be scratching hom out as a suspect that easily.

OK. Ms. Fleming was murdered Thursday Oct 5, 2023, which is during the school year. So this guy took time off work, hopped a couple of planes to Vermont or drove to Castleton VT from Oklahoma (which is a 23-hour drive with no stops), found a hiking trail, killed this woman with a firearm (which he could not have brought on the plane with him), and went back to Oklahoma.

He taught fifth grade at Spring Creek Elementary during that time, so the school should have attendance records for him, which would go a long way in showing whether it makes any sense to look into a possible connection. I don't think they're related at all.

Even the VT police say there are no known connections and that they reach out like this all the time if there's an unsolved case. This time, the press got wind of it and it blew up.

Yes, and it gave public attention to a cold case, which I suspect was a motive all along. It got into the press somehow. Not criticizing - it's possible the publicity could lead to a viable tip on Vermont. My opinion.

I keep wondering if he tried to quell his Hyde side but just couldn't manage it. Everything about him seems....inept. Except he drives a nice car, has a nice home, has a college degree - but was he helped along with those things? Fenwick is not some obscure small church school, this is very well known and highly regarded Catholic school with a long tradition of high caliber graduates ranging from CEOs of corporations to astronauts, military officers, and politicians.
I see historical links to these corporations: McDonalds, Sears, American Airlines, Proctor and Gamble- WOW!

Fenwick Catholic School- 9-12 grades graduating class 200, total student body near 1000
Students for the 2010-2011 school year $40 million in merit based scholarships. Wow!!
This means on average a student would have received $200,000 toward college, of course some received a lot and others probably nothing.
Alum attend Notre Dame, Georgetown, Boston College, Harvard etc. of course not everyone.
AJM would have entered Fenwick high school fall 2011.

It is perplexing. He seems to have had so many advantages, and trashed it all in the most destructive manner.

We seem to be missing a couple of years for him. IIRC, he changed from U of IL at Chicago to U of OK. A transfer can affect credits so perhaps that accounts for some time. Did he take time off to travel or work? Or did something else happen?

I think he couldn't handle adult responsibilities independently - for what reason, I do not know.

FWIW, I don't think head injury is the source of his behavior, with understanding that many do think that.

The only thing which made the Vermont crime feasible was the composite sketch and some of the factors. But yeah, in the end it just wasn't feasible, and you're correct about MSM blowing it up. Close, but no cigar.

A rescue dog I had was like that shy away, bark and hide, sometimes growl out of fear, snap but not break the skin. You could tell he so wanted to trust, it took weeks.

Unusually small mouth (as in not wide) for his facial size and shape. I noticed it in the first mug shot we saw of him and and all the pictures I've seen.

In some pictures, it looks so small that I thought "how can he eat?" but in the one picture some one posted of him with his cat, where he smiles a bit, it looks more normal. Maybe if he was shouting or screaming during the attack, the girls would not have seem what we see in the mug shot. IMO.

I would assume LE has access to his credit card accounts by now and could check for travel to Vermont on those dates. They could check employers to see if he took time off.

I don't see him being the Vermont killer. AM was teaching by in 2023, right? The Vermont murder was a weekday in October 2023.

Good point. But VT State Police announced they found no connection with the AK murders by AJM.

However, I am watching like a hawk, the unsolved 2020 murder of 24 year old John Schmutzer in WI. The WI LE are in contact with the AK LE re: AJM's DNA per MSM reporting posted here yesterday.

I think this video posted by @indicolite22 earlier in this thread bears repeating re: a mother's report about her son's experience in his class taught by AJM. To me this was very a powerful data point for understanding AJM, although it actually is an emotional plea for action.

IMO the sketch was made based on adult eyewitness' description. I'm not sure if the girls could even see his face, let alone describe specific facial features.
