DVR was taken from the grandparent's bedroom per police report. Maybe it will come up when JM gets his final close.....

Sorry O/T, but I'll make it quick!

Hubs and I bought a house and are renovating it. Master Suite has a huge bathroom and closet area - lots of room to do stuff and still have a nice big bathroom. I redesigned and brought the washer and dryer upstairs from the ground floor and put a laundry closet between the bathroom and the walk in closet! I'm done totting big loads from upstairs to downstairs to back upstairs!

That's my DREAM! So jealous!

Do we know for sure that Jodi brought the CDs? Sure she said she did. But I'm not really considering that premeditation since idk if she made that up. I think there's enough premeditation to get a conviction but there seems to be a bunch of hype around the CDs right now.

One of the HLN programs showed a picture (maybe an evidence photo) of a CD with "T-Dogg" and the names of various places Travis and Jodi visited together written in black marker on the front surface. The writing sure looked like Jodi's. The premeditation comes into play because she claimed that Travis "guilted" her into coming to Mesa when she was in Pasadena--so if she didn't plan to see him, then why did she have the CDs with her in a rental car? She claimed to have had sex with Travis in the office to calm him down after he got angry because there was an issue accessing the photos. She really is a piece of work.

Jodi already testified she returned it to the same Wal-Mart where she made the purchase.

During redirect, she indicated she purchased the third gas can at Walmart before going to Starbucks then returned the can right after Starbucks. I did some research and there are two Walmart stores in Selinas and they are pretty close to each other(about 2 miles apart), but only the one on Main St has a Starbucks at the same lot. I was a bit surprised that Nurmi did not cross exam the Walmart witness and now I think he is trying to say Jodi returned the gas can at the other Walmart and that's why he did not bring up the issue to let Juan do further investigation. I watched the following youtube vid and the only time she mentioned about returning the gas can at the same store is during Nurmi's redirect, and she never CLEARLY mentioned she returned the can at the same store after that and she just said she returned it before leaving Selinas:

According to him, it cannot be premeditated because nobody would steal a gun, then drive 1000 miles to kill someone with a knife.

That is just defense attorney malarkey---smoke and mirrors.

I have heard a few attorneys say that: ' why steal a gun and then spend 12 hrs there and then stab him? ' [That , somehow, means it is not premeditated. ]

Just because she planned it one way, stole a gun to use, and ended up using a knife as well, that does not mean she did not make premeditated plans.

She PLANNED not to be linked to Arizona. She did not want any cell pings in Arizona, nor credit/atm charges in Arizona, nor any pictures on surveillance cams at Arizona gas stations. THAT IS PREMEDITATION, right there, no matter
which weapon she uses first.

It would be difficult for Joshua to accompany Dan and Desiree on those jail visits, being dead and all.

I also don't know of any other professing pedophiles in JA's life.

That's not what I meant, lol, although admittedly I wasn't clear. I was thinking why would they go visit her or testify if she was closer to Joshua and NOT MENTION Joshua or Jodi's relationship with him in their testimony. In addition to the fact that there's no other evidence that she had any kind of relationship with Joshua -- just with Dan and Desiree. If her primary relationship was with Joshua rather than Dan and Desiree, they might not have visited and he certainly would have come up in their testimony, along with photos of Jodi with Joshua, not with Dan and Desiree only. jmo

I'm not looking or an outside source for the pedo allegations, so I don't care whether she knows any other professing pedos (although it sounds like Joshua wasn't one). And I'm not gonna stretch to make her have a relationship with Joshua so that I can name a source other than Travis. Just my opinion.

JM was so freaking right about those palm prints. And you don't get all that blood on the palm print from the gunshot wound, in my opinion.

I'd studied those palm prints trying to figure out which hand it was, and he's right. It's the left hand.

This is what Juan was talking about when he said "who DOES this?" today in the closing.
