I'm so glad he brought up the 45 second creeper stare. All these little details you might think had gone unnoticed, he's bringing up. Awesome.

Oh yeah, and she hated it when he said it. JM knows how to push her buttons. JD did too. The first time we saw her doing the intense, fevered drawing or writing was when JD started her testimony. The next time was today. She can't handle the TRUTH!

EXACTLY!! yes, the creepy hiding stare thing in the darkness was soooo creeeppy. that's when I got the idea that maybe she snuck it and hid in a closet somewhere until the roomates left...but I don't know how that would account for Napolean. There is something just not right with the details she gave about getting to and in his house - something is not right. I think Juan knows something could be up with exactly what she did that morning and when Travis knew she was there, but I guess he would be getting into confusing territory if he tried to give the jury all that. He did say she was unexpected, which was a good start.
I also noticed that today at the end of the day was one of the only times she actually looked anxious/stressed during this whole trial. And it's exactly like you said - CAUSE SHE HEARD THE TRUTH. She knows Juan and Flores have figured out virtually everything, and that makes her seething mad inside.

I agree that TA was normal. But premarital sex is not allowed in the Mormon church. Mimi Hall was a prosecution witness and JM asked her about the sin of fornication and the penalties. I am still not sure why Mimi Hall was called to testify. She was just a friend. Why did the jury need to know about Mormon sin? Then, Nancy Grace ran with it with her "Mormon Lovers" crap.

I think Juan was trying to point out that while JA tries to drum into everyone's head what a "terrible Mormon" Travis was because of the premarital sex, she was also participating and a Mormon. While he broke the expectations of the Mormon church, she equally did so.

Personally, I don't think the religious issue has any place in this trial. think every main religious group has the same premarital sex boundaries. JA was just trying to make him look bad because of his religious beliefs. We all try to follow our religious beliefs, and we all fall short in some way.

I think Mimi was called to testify about what kind of man Travis REALLY was. They dated and he was always kind, caring and a gentleman.

Thanks so much! It is osteosarcoma in his right arm below his shoulder joint. He has to do 13 weeks of chemo and then major surgery....then more chemo. I know it's so selfish to say but I never thought this would happen to my son. He is 12 years old and is really having a hard time with this. He keeps most of his worries and fears locked up in his head.

I remember when you were going for testing. Please remember my words from before. He's going to be okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not selfish to say. You have a right to think your kid shouldn't be sick.

Will this jury that's deciding guilt be the same jury that ultimately decides life or death?

Assuming there is a murder in the 1st verdict, will the penalty phase begin immediately or months from now?

Oh boy, guys. I;m watching Travis' extended family just sobbing, jodi pretending to cry, but still sneaking peeks, and wilmott clinically taking notes and staring hard at horrid photos. This is awful.

But my heart is filled with serious admiration of Juan Martinez. This IS personal to him. He is fighting the good fight for someone whose voice was cut from their body with a knife. Wow.

My boyfriend watched it with me, he only sees bits and pieces and he remarked out of the blue about Jodi...she only looks when its forensic photos, I think she likes it....

Wasn't that for his "calorie Bug" or something like that? It told you how many calories you were burning? You strapped it to your arm? JA said something about it in her testimony, I probably have the "name" wrong".....

I don't think so. He was found dead the day she was arrested and he left a suicide note.

I am creeping myself out wondering if the suicide was really about pedophelia or if he knew JA's secret and had to die too? If he was in any way involved and she was blackmailing him with the pedo stuff. This is the first I've heard of him. I started following kinda late.

Oh he can try, but JM best line was:

'Stop pointing your finger at him and making the assumption that him being Mormon precludes him from being human. She's just as Mormon as he was.'

Plus sex before marriage is frowned upon in a lot of religions. I know devoted catholics (I'm catholic but I'm sure it happens in a lot of religions) who have "slipped" if you might. Who is anyone to judge?

I thought Mimi was a great witness. She was instrumental in the discovery of Travis's body, made the 911 call, served as a character witness of sorts for Travis (gentleman, didn't pressure her, push her, curse at her, lose his temper when she told him she only wanted to be friends). During his re-direct of Mimi, Juan got in the stalker stuff, including tire slashing, crawling through the doggy door, following on dates, hacking his bank accounts, email, FB, etc. Mimi was the first of several witnesses to testify that the Mormon Church's position on premarital sex is very clear. She was the first witness after Willmott's opening and was a natural counter to Jodi's Travis made me do it (sex) and Travis told me what was allowed/not allowed in the eyes of the Church. Although Mimi and Travis were going to Cancun as friends-only, Jodi may not have known the status of their relationship, only that another woman was going with him to one of the 1,000 Places to See Before You Die. JMO.

Same jury but some are alternates and we don;t know yet who will be deliberating.

Also, the penalty phase should start quickly. They might have a couple days off.

O another subject, jodi;s tears are so damn fake. She always has to sneak a peek at the worst photos. She LOVES to look at her handiwork.

I still haven't seen the photos of Travis dead and she knows when they are coming but just MUST sneak a peek.
