Why did JM bring up the phone sex? Lots of people "fake" during phone sex. I missed his point on that one.

Here is when and why Juan brought up the sex tape. He had very good reasons to reference it. I believe it begins at about 38:00. It's a good listen..listen and you will understand his point. HTH

A couple of descriptors I heard and agree with regarding JM today = Passionate and Effectual.

I would add Persuasive and Zealous.

Ever since I began watching this trial, I could not fathom how this murder took place. I searched through the different forums, and looked at all the pics, but "how" remained elusive.

Until today.

JM brought it home. I can see clearly how TA was murdered. I finally see it.

The Rainbow was the most devastating, heartbreaking part.

Although it is a pain to drag it all there it sure is a lot faster being able to do a lot of loads at once!
My sob story about laundry is that I have to take it from the top floor, down the stairs, through the main floor to the back stairs, down the stairs AGAIN and then to the machines. I'm exhausted before the load is even in the washer! I need a ranch home! :banghead:

Well she did ... She already had the knife .. She wanted to feeeeeeel it IMO she wanted to sink the knife into his flesh .. She took the gun because she was worried he'd overpower her so had it for backup .. She shot him to make sure he was dead and because she wanted to keep killing him.

She could have had the gun in case a roommate walked in on her, too.

I copied and pasted this from: "State rests rebuttal case- thread #166", there are also links floating around for statement's made by the Freeman's after Joshua's death and what Joshua was dealing with. (put "Dan Freeman" or "Joshua Freeman" in the WS search) It was a VERY tragic situation. Please don't place judgments on the actions of Dan or his family..... I don't have a "horse in this race", but let's get the facts before we start questioning someone's motives or friendships.

Because the Freeman's were on the defense witness list, they would have had no idea that JA was going to use that as part of JA's final defense because they could not discuss or watch the case until they were released from further testimony. The Freeman's were the only visitors to JA in jail in Phoenix (as far as I know) that were from that group of TA/JA friends. They probably discussed their brother's death with JA when visiting.
I can't imagine how they must feel, if they were totally blindsided after their testimonies and released from any future recall, to find out what JA had alleged about TA.

She probably did get to his house at 4am, snuck in and was creeping and stalking him while he was in the house and had no idea she was there?

They are also taking Jodi the LIAR at her word that she arrived
at 4:00am and spent 13 hours with him before killing him.
This just does not compute in my brain.

She is a LIAR. She didn't tell us when she really arrived.

She lied and said Travis slept until after 1:00pm.
No, Travis was up before that. He txtd Chris Hughes at 12:13pm
and if he knew she was coming and was waiting up for her, sex would
have been the 1st thing they did when she arrived??

I think Jodi thought the cops would think it was two killers by using two weapons. From what I've seen it's unusual for a single killer to use two different weapons.

Then when they could prove that she was there she came up with the ninja stoy. JMO

Am I mistaken or did Jodi write in her journal b/4 she was arrested that she 'dreamt' that 2 people killed Travis.
Then told Flores where her journals were when being interrogated.

That got me too, Mrs G Norris! I had never thought of that aspect of the attack and killing before. He could see her in the mirror stabbing him! Tears just rolled down my face. That poor, poor, poor man! How horrific that must have been for him. How unreal. How confused and scared and in pain he must have been. He suffered.

Yet even though he saw her coming back at him - he didn't attack back! She had NO wounds from him. Even while she was brutally attacking him - he still never laid a hand on her!

"I'll kill you beeotch" - he never said that. He never even thought it - NEVER!

Especially if she wants us to believe she shot him first. With a bullet that ripped though his nasal cavity and lodged in his jaw----he wouldn't be talking at all let alone screaming anything coherent.

There are 2 Walmarts in Salinas! Wurmi will of course, insist that Jodi returned the gas can at the 2nd Walmart. That's why he didn't cross the Walmart mgr. He didn't want to give Juan time to investigate this new and fraudulent excuse.

HOWEVER, Juan has the receipt. And Jodi said under oath that she returned it to the SAME location she bought it at. So good luck with that, Nurmi.

The jury knows she didn't return the gas can to Walmart, and for Nurmi to suggest at this point that she returned it to another store would be complete insanity. The goal of Nurmi's closing is saving Jodi's life, and for him to perpetuate the gas can lie would do more harm than good (and further damage his credibility in the eyes of the jury). There are other aspects of the premeditation case that may be easier (at least on the surface) for him to challenge. By the way, do we know whether the second Walmart was open in June 2008?

I am not being snarky, but it took me a few seconds to figure out what JM was referring to as a "rainbow arch". My first thought when I heard it was Gay Pride? No. Then the Rainbow Bridge (the place that animals go when they die) It did not take me long to figure out what he was talking about and I hope the jury got the metaphor before I did. I found JM's metaphors (is that the correct term?) kind of distracting. I am not Pro-Jodi.:moo:

Juan had a co-pilot today - angel wings on his shoulder! When he referred to the blood smear in the hallway as a 'rainbow arch'...I lost it.
If JA had a conscience, she would not have been able to stay in that courtroom during Juan's flawless re-creation of the heinous murder she committed. She has no remorse and will never beg for Travis's forgiveness. Rotten to the core!

I don't think a person has to have a degree in psychology to sit back and just take a look logically at the plain, basic behaviors present to understand how sick JA really is.

Take a look at Travis' siblings. They are devastated each time these horrendous photos come up.

Take a look at the people in the audience, they too are just terribly shook up when these HORRIFIC photos are shown.

If in fact, JA was telling the truth and loved Travis but was only defending herself, then the TRUTH is that she too would be behaving in a devastated fashion.

In health care there is a standard which is held up to what a "Normal, prudent person..." would do.

To me, in my opinion there is nothing she has shown so far that a normal prudent person would do.

I didn't know Travis, I'm not involved in this case in anyway, shape or fashion and looking at those photos is simply too much for me. They are awful. She's awful. She's a lying pathological murderer.

That OP doesn't have a source, though. Why would some unknown person say that Joshua had the closest relationship with Jodi when only Dan and Desiree visited her, testified and are in pics from road trips, etc. I guess I very much doubt that rumor, but appreciate your taking the time to respond...thx

It would be difficult for Joshua to accompany Dan and Desiree on those jail visits, being dead and all.

I also don't know of any other professing pedophiles in JA's life.

I agree! Right now I feel like when I see a rainbow it will break my heart with the reminder of how Travis died. Hopefully, I will eventually be able to smile at rainbows as a reminder that Travis still lives. (in my beliefs anyway)
