That pic of Jodi and Travis in the waterfall irks me to no end...and its her hand on Travis's chin. Something grades me.....

Do we know for sure that Jodi brought the CDs? Sure she said she did. But I'm not really considering that premeditation since idk if she made that up. I think there's enough premeditation to get a conviction but there seems to be a bunch of hype around the CDs right now.

Or she's getting hung on one of the few truths she actually told?

JA ditched school to "study" for a "test". Her dad busted her and grounded her for the rest of the school year (a few months before her 18 birthday) and she said "adios", moved in with BJ. So that would have been in 1999?

OK right. Just checked, her birthday was July 1980, making her 19 in 1999. That indicates there was friction in the family home between the parents when she was a young teenager. That could be the reason she began acting out as she did?

She can't win from here though .. I'm pretty sure what Juan did today was put the DT in Check Mate .. There's two different versions of what went down, whichever one you go with she's still guilty of Murder 1. He is brilliant!

One little thing I wish JM would have mentioned. And I wouldn't even have realized it if it hadn't been for another user: not in any of the texts from TA to JA, not even when he's going off on her does he ever threaten her with physical abuse.

JM stressed that there was no proof however that he was abusive, but I would've liked him to point that out.

But, the 3rd pic has duct tape and rope? What's that for? Not for the fitness armband.

It's a piece of duct tape found in the laundry room. There isn't any rope, it's a glare from the camera flash. Don't know what the tape was used for.

Another thing I keep thinking of as the trial comes to an end, how much of what the defense presented were things JA made them? A talking head had mentioned any good attorney would have told her, you are out of your mind if you want to do that. But again, it was The Jodi Show and unfortunetly the DT were her puppets.

I was not a fan of Wilmott or Nurmi for the defense that they put on. But on a personal note, after having had to spend so much time with JA, I hope they do take some personal time to regroup. If I was them, I know I would need it

eh...rope? Are you sure that's not a seam from the tile, a grout line? There was never any rope found. JA said there was a rope to justify the knife <'nuf said there, lies, lies, lies.

Glad you stayed with us. I couldn't sleep last night. I woke up after two hours sleep and sat up most of the night thinking about the trial. Go figure. I am amazed at myself for being so emotional.

Sister, you and me both. I am sure an analyst would have a field day with me. I figure I have so many injustices I have walked away from that they all began vibrating simultaneously when I first said to myself, "Oh my god, she might get away with this like Casey Anthony."

Especially for you friend--you can get a free two week trial of Epix which has THE BEST movies on it...just to get you through the deliberations. As you can tell, I'm not expecting long deliberation and have made plans to keep myself occupied since I am going to be anxious every hour that they are locked up.

In addition to the Epix, I also rescued a little terrier-chihuahua mix. I have to manage my own mental state now that I think I knew Travis Alexander.

My heart goes out to his family. It was wrenching just to see them being walked through the murder today ON CAMERA. At least I was blubbering in my own living room.

But Juans whole case today was that she was a liar. Why wouldn't she lie about that? She could have been trying to throw someone off. The only saving grace, if true is that the 2nd walmart wasn't built until after she was incarcerated.

Sorry O/T, but I'll make it quick!

Hubs and I bought a house and are renovating it. Master Suite has a huge bathroom and closet area - lots of room to do stuff and still have a nice big bathroom. I redesigned and brought the washer and dryer upstairs from the ground floor and put a laundry closet between the bathroom and the walk in closet! I'm done totting big loads from upstairs to downstairs to back upstairs!

Sounds like a plan to me, girl. But how will you get exercise? LOL

Yes, I'm glad other people have noticed...I posted something exactly like this earlier. I've seen MULTIPLE times where Wilmott just stares at the gruesome photos with her hand under her chin and shows ABSOLUTELY NO EMOTION. I try to put myself in her shoes, but I just can't. AND ACTUALLY SHE SOMETIMES SHAKES HER HEAD AND DOES A SMIRK/LAUGH WHILE LOOKING AT THE PICS when Juan or Dr. Horn would be trying to explain or say something about the photo that was bad for her client or that she didn't "agree" with based on her case. I've studied her eyes while she's looking and can detect absolutely no emotion underneath for what she is seeing with her own eyes.

I know exactly the look you are talking about. It's almost as if she is treating this trial as if it were a GAME, and wants to win no matter what the cost. I get the sense that it's not even about saving Jodi's life. It's about winning the game. She's so caught up in it, she doesn't even realize how it is hurting her client or her case.

I loved how Juan kept showing how JA blamed everyone else for her problems. All I could think about when he was done, the person who will help convict JA, is JA herself. She has nobody else to blame. Isn't it ironic JA?

As painful, frustrating, nauseating, and ire-producing as those 18 days of Jodi on the witness stand were, we will look back and be thankful. Her testimony will be her undoing.

It became clear to me during Juan's closing how Jodi thinks. A light bulb moment for me on what happened during that photo shoot. Jodi did it to to humiliate him while he was alive. Jodi relished in the power of it, one last F you to him before she slaughtered him. Diabolical. Like an 'I'll show you who has the power in this relationship' She said herself in the interview with the police Travis would never allow his picture taken in the shower. Now it all makes sense.

Not only that, I believe she lured him into sex before killing him so that he would not have time to repent and she'd send him to hell as well. I think the gun shot was last also as a final "in your face" action of rage. The whole thing was just rage, anger, control. It was so brutal it's hard for any of us to comprehend doing something like that, but Jodi's ilk aren't wired like us.
