No other suspects. Environment is secure

why is there a school where kindergartners are there with adult (or close to adult) students?
is this common in the States?
I think it’s unusual, but regardless, the schools tend to be separated.

Either separate buildings, or divided in some way.

So kindergarteners wouldn’t be interacting with older kids or anything.

Is the red part visible for you? That's what got deleted. And right under 'revisions' it will say in red '28 bytes removed'. If you click on 'previous edit' at the top left, you will see what Gardenista posted, and will see what was added in green.

I haven't followed any speculations online, but to myself, in light of the shooting today, it sure looks odd to me.

Looks like MSM picked up on it too:

Ominous note on STEM Wikipedia page a possible warning of school shooting

"At 5:48 on April 29, someone added the words: “Do they work? We shall see” in the notation area.

Perhaps it's a coincidence but certainly a clue or a possible warning which Douglas County detectives and the FBI will track down in the aftermath of this event.

FOX31 Denver is still checking into the editor."

Two male suspects are in custody and eight students were injured following a shooting Tuesday afternoon at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch, according to Douglas County sheriff’s officials.

The suspects are students at the school, and one is an adult and the other is a juvenile, Sheriff Tony Spurlock said at an afternoon news conference.

The suspects went “deep inside the school” and engaged in two locations, he said. The suspects used at least one handgun but it was unknown what other weapons might have been used.

Police are still searching the school, but do not believe there are any other suspects, Douglas County Undersheriff Holly Nicholson-Kluth said at a news conference.

Deputies are clearing the school, which has about 1,850 students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, room by room, she said.

The reports of shots fired came at 1:53 p.m., according to a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office tweet. Deputies and police officers who already “were on scene almost immediately,” Nicholson-Kluth said. They entered the school, found some sort of “struggle,” and took two suspects into custody, Nicholson-Kluth said.

Sheriff’s officials have not described the extent of the injuries, but have not reported any deaths.

Littleton Adventist Hospital said it has received five patients from the shooting. As of 5 p.m., two remained in serious condition and three had been discharged.

it's highlighted in green what someone edited Wikipedia a few days ago. Looks like it was a declaration of the school shooting that occurred today.

I started teaching school in 1985. Columbine was a "Wake Up Call" for everyone, in 1999. Things have not improved.

Each school shooting perpetuates the next. You have a grievance, you shoot up a school.

This isn’t going to stop.

This may be premature but the new Run, Hide, Fight doctrine might have worked in this case.

It does sound like it did. Especially the “fight” part.

Parents need to be put in jail along with their kids who do these shootings.
