A few thoughts :
57 is a bit older than some of the other mass shooters.Imo it's an odd age to go shooting people for whatever reason.
I wonder if he has recently been diagnosed with a terminal or debilitating disease of some sort. Maybe thinking he didn't have long to live and just lost it ?
Some of you have mentioned the Paris attacks. Maybe he wanted to go big with something like that ? Would that area of Colorado Springs have a large immigrant population ? Did he just want to go around shooting and killing Americans ? The shooter in this case was also American. So if PP wasn't the target , he just went ballistic and started shooting at police and civilians. I'm just trying to put my thought down about how odd this is.

Yes, LE was very slow and careful. Listening to the scanner thread, the care LE took to ensure the safety of those still hiding in the building was admirable. At one point, they were discussing how to reach people hiding in a room at the end of the hallway the shooter was in. There was talk of cutting through sheetrock. It was a very touchy situation that could have gone either way in a heartbeat. Their restraint was admirable and I'm so relieved more weren't injured or killed.

The way LE handled this was awe inspiring! So professional and methodical. The community of Colorado Springs should be proud. My prayers go out to those LE and civilians killed and injured.

I was at work all night watching what I could of the news, so I am not caught up at all. I do want to offer my sincere condolences to the families of those killed and injured. What is supposed to be such a happy and peaceful time has now forever been tarnished by the actions of a single man.

I am going to catch up on the events, but I just wanted to offer my prayers.

Ok so perusing the SC criminal records, I saw someone post earlier that a prior looked like it was dismisssed- but I think the way these records are listed, the prior that looked dismissed was really rolled into the restraining order case (they reference each other)- he had a bond set at 25k, for the peeping tom and stalking thing, he came back to court for that and it looks like the other party in the restraining order was issued a two year restraining order. The victim in that case was apparently his neighbor. (Addresses shown)

Note: I am guessing there isn't more information online because in the case of restraining orders, usually the details are private to protect the victim (at least here in NY they are so that's where my guess comes from)

The pattern of behavior here is disturbing. Obviously. There's probably much more not found yet... still searching. Here's the link to SC court records (you have to search by county so it takes a while) ... if anyone wants to help.. his DOB is 4/16/58 so he's 57 (not 59 like some reports)

Witnesses were bused to the VA and American Furniture Warehouse where family members and friends could pick them up.
Lora Noureddine's co-worker was inside one of the businesses behind Planned Parenthood.
"She's been there all day since 6 a.m. this morning and on lockdown. She said there was all kind of activity with SWAT and snipers on the building. That was really scary to think those people were in danger," said Noureddine.

"She told me that some of her co-workers heard gun shots and she looked out the window and saw a woman who got shot and fell out of her car," said Apodaca.

Bumping my post from yesterday. Denver CO and surrounding areas has been experiencing multiple highway, drive-by, and other shootings since the spring of 2015. Imo, many of the shootings; some deadly, may be copy cat snipers. The NOCO Shooter Task Force was established after multiple car window shatterings on I-25 north of Denver, when two victim shootings were tied together due to a ballistics match. The NOCO Shooter Task Force consists of multiple county Law Enforcement Agencies, State LEA, Federal LEAs; FBI and unnamed agencies.. No suspects or motives have been revealed to the public as of this time..
The NOCO I-25 Hwy Sniper Task Force investigation PIO has been mysteriously silent for several months now..

Very possibly unrelated to Planned Parenthood. This shooter was also shooting at passer-bys on the highway. There has been a NOCO Hwy Shooter Task Force established in the Spring of 2015 and 3 people were shot on 11/24/2015.
