Next come the BARRage of motions. Needs to leave the house for church. He's a godly man. Needs to leave the house for work. He's a workin' man. Someone somewhere needs him to push a rock down a mountain.

The least the judge could have done, if she was going to grant him bailable bail is make it compelling. How about raise it to $5M or $10M, then talk about 10%. He probably has $300,000 of other people's money, in nickels, barried in his couch cushions, in the couch he barried.

I'm stunned he gets to slide out of custody again.

It's not right.

JMO
If he has the money/property to make this bail, he is not indigent and not entitled to PD representation. Someone else will have to post the bond, and the Indiana property owned by MM1 is not worth $3M.

Was it the judge who said he has rental property in AZ? That he was able to continue that work from jail --

Does AZ have any rental/residency laws? Do they favor slum lords from CO?

How does he always find a way to scam the system?

JMO
Water seeks its own level.

A bail bondsman will typically charge 10 percent of the bond amount as his fee. This indigent defendant does not have that money. The $300 K fee is not recoverable, so someone will have to be very generous.

Oh, he has the money (MOO). He just squirreled it away in piggy banks and property/title transfers.

He didn't GIFT it to anyone so IMO it is legal slippery. Those that hold it know they're holding it.

Blatantly barrying it.

His freedom is worth $300,000 to him. Watch.

I am hoping a reliable source will be able to fill in some more details about

Are we sure he does not have funds hidden away ? I think he will not be happy to pay that amount and it being unrecoverable.
He transferred assets in order to protect them from civil judgments, and perhaps in anticipation of his arrest to face these charges. But they aren't his, and you are right - he will be spending $300K to have limited freedom for less than a year.

I dare to say the judge's ruling surprised his counsel.

But it's sickening to know they'll continue to push the easy envelope, gaining him wider freedoms and offering pretty explanations for any violations he accrues.

Didn't know he couldn't.
Was just getting the mail.
Thought it was an emergency.
Was only praying.
Was helping a herd of old ladies cross the street.
Was only driving someone else's truck fir a minute
Had to get his hairs/veneers/crowsfeet done emergencially.

And needs to be in AZ for business. He has friends....
Needs to be in Indiana because....
And Montana, Wyoming....
Needs a crossbow or gun for safety/self-defense...

Except for his lawyers and offspring, is there anyone in Colorado vouching for him?

i wish I had confidence that, if/when he violates the conditions of his bail, it would be rightly and abruptly rescinded, $3M instantly due.

What are the point of conditions if they aren't of consequence?

Bummed for justice.

BM is most definitely not happy about having to pay the bond and losing $330K (Yay!), but he wants out of jail more.

I believe he has squirreled money away for the past 5 years in places nobody knows about. Who literally buries old furniture in their yard? Who uses public dumpsters so they don't have to pay for garbage service? Who saves the shoe laces from beaten up work boots?

He's a NARC grifter/schemer and he knew once Suzanne's remains were found to contain BAM, it would be just a matter of time before they came for him.

The Prosecution believes he moved Suzanne's remains once and maybe twice? This is an evil, greedy, disturbed minded person. IMO

It will be interesting to see where he ends up living, as I don’t believe he owns any property in Colorado anymore?

I’m very curious as to how this is going to work.
Maybe the Cushman’s will invite him to move back in to their house on Puma Path?

Hopefully they now have the full measure of him and would not let him anywhere near their property.

I have a feeling Barry has a way of wearing out his welcomes.

How do you know he doesn’t have it? He bought his mom a home. He bought his daughter a condo. He sold some stock and transferred it somehow. I believe it may not be in his name, but he will get it. I truly think he believes he will be found not guilty.

You watch. He will be out soon.

Hasn't BM reportedly made financial arrangements to put some of his financial assets in a 'family member's' name? Wouldn't the Court take that into consideration when determining whether or not he was eligible for a PD? This entire decision makes my blood boil, that's why I waited to comment without running the risk of a TO.

Slick BM is far from destitute, he's just running his usual Long Con Game. He's a pro at it, been doing it his entire life IMO. WE see you Barr. 🤬

JMO
No because once he deed property or gifted money to one of his daughters it is no longer his asset and legally they can't go after his daughters to fund his lawyers. Totally legal. He was either well advised or he is no dummy. I can assume absolutely that wherever he transferred through deed or gifted it was all legal.

Yes, we know how he likes to display his 'trophies'. That's what Suzanne and even his daughters were to him IMO. Not a family unit of real people to be loved, nurtured and cared for. Suzanne was the main emotional support for her daughters.

I believe they shared a genuine love for each other you can see and even feel when looking at pictures of them together. Not a lot of pics posted on their SM with BM in them ;).

BM was content as long as they all looked pretty, did as he said, and presented the perfect family front proving what a great man BM must be. 🤮 🤬

The legacy of dysfunction.
Suzanne lent legitimacy to Barry and enabled his behavior during the marriage. It was easier that way and it kept the peace. So many women perform this function in the family unit and the kids really have no idea they just see the behavior.

You learn what you live.
The daughters are mirroring that behavior.
And the judge is all in so far.

The Cushman daughter 50 ish and single ( def not a catch but if u need money maybe) attended the first trial and is a total Barry groupie so she prob would still be in his corner. It seemed like a school girl crush actually.
But I think that nice couple - maybe Jean and Martin? The woman who checked for SM on Mother’s Day - Would like a word about that arrangement. They were on BM’s no fly list before.
I think one of the kids - His fav M - may still be in Colorado just not Gunnison. Betting he goes there.

Also thinking about money and bail. I bet he still has that rich friend in Indy that owned the deer farm.

Their bail counter was 500 k in cash so there is cash somewhere not in his name. The deer farm may be worth a pretty penny if it still is out there.

Or he will pay $300K to haul tail out of the US. I don't trust that his trips to Mexico were simply to soak up some sun. He could easily have connected with future "associates".

I very much hope that someone is protecting the Cushman's daughter from being manipulated by Barry.
