I did some research and found public website for HCC Construction Company, Custom Homes and Commercial Builders located in Salida, Colorado. Of note, Rebecca Hauser is listed as the owner/CEO/Project Manager of HCC.
This was the only RH I could find in the Maysville/Salida area.
Anyway, I had some food for thoughts/rhetorical questions:

• BM owned/worked at iirc Sunset Farms Landscaping and Contracting Company. Might BM have contracted with RH/HCC builders to do the landscaping at some of their custom homes and commercial buildings?
• BM had purchased a parcel of land in Salida (sold it after Suzanne reported “missing”), to potentially build a house for his Mother on said land. (land was searched by cadaver dogs in the early days). Might BMhave contracted with RH/HHC to build home on said land?
• BM had a skid steer/bobcat and other landscaping/construction tools used in his work. Might BM have left them at one of RH/HHC’s building sites where other construction vehicles were left onsite that BM had access to?

If any of the above was the case, I can see why Rebecca Hauser is on the witness list.

So Barry's trial is slowly moving ahead? I hope it keeps progressing. I am also hoping that the 16 redacted spaces do refer to Agent Grusing. He has been sorely missed. I'd love to see him on the stand in honour of his ol pal Barry.

This was the only Rebecca Hauser I could find in the Maysville/Salida area. Though Burroughs isn’t listed in middle of name, I think the witness might be Rebecca Hauser of HCC, considering her field. (I couldn’t find anything for a RBH online).

The accumulation of boulders around the projects is strongly reminiscent of BM's way of shaping terrain.

LE didn't spend days at that location on a whim. Nor at that lot he owned in a development under construction.

I think BM was very busy that night. I believe he was interrupted at the beach site and changed course which fueled panic, paranoia and desperation which, in turn, with clouded thinking, compelled him to move her body multiple times that night. The struggle was real... and I'm guessing he realized that all his big talk about knowing how to disappear a body where it'll never be found is a lot harder than it sounds when you're pressed for time, second-guessing your choices and third-guessing whether LE will be onto you there.

He was probably all over Maysville and Salida that night. We may find he called in favors from some of the characters we were hot on at the time, witting or unwitting players who provided him a vehicle, a key, a ride.

Long before sun up, he must have settled on the penultimate location. In the years since, has LE unearthed that location? I suspect it was indeed above or at the freeze line where the State suspected she was, and IMO a location that was subject to a harsh cycle of winter freeze and spring thaw, underground, and that river is what caused skeletonizing, bone bleaching, and disarticultion of feet and other bones, carried away by the hidden stream.

No mountain lion is going to go to such trouble. No bushy-haired transient. Nobody else at all. In his frenzied attempt over years to conceal what he'd done, he only succeeded in showing no one but him could have done it.

It's hard to man up and be honest when you've never been nothing, but a coddled, no class, second rate boy NARC LIAR. BM has never truly appreciated anything or anyone in his life IMO, and that includes Suzanne and his daughters. They were 'prop' pieces in his pretentious fake life.

He couldn't even hunt like a real man, sneaking up and tranq'ing deer to cut their racks off. I could go on and on about his duplicitous ways, but the State of CO. and Former Spec. Agent Grusing (man crush) will be sure to point out many more.

I want him caged up like an animal for the rest of his miserable life. Life imitating his fake art.

I would be ok with an Alford plea if it would guarantee a sentence that kept him behind bars for the rest of his life. He’s so dang squirrelly. A jury trial makes me nervous. Which is why he will likely not try to plea, even if the prosecution would entertain the offer. He will hold out hope for one hoodwinked juror.

I think it would go a long way in helping the rest of the families heal and restore some dignity to Suzanne's name. I know I'm dreaming

Thanks for the revisit on this even though these words are still fresh in my mind and grind at me when I think of them. Fiction for sure. It is so tempting to want to do a rewrite on IE's words since she felt compelled to rewrite the arrest affidavit for the civil case. I'll resist that temptation but it was fun to read through and do a mental rewrite.

Even if he didn't brag, he may have said too much for which, as we know, he has a propensity. Another version of events. More crazy fiction, more animal crackers. Just like blaming chipmunks and elk herds confirmed a stampede of facts, despite his animated attempt to dodge the very same.
