Nobody but BM would have motive to move the body, and it was found with her clothing, which nobody else would have access to. Lots of people might have BAM, but nobody else on May 9 besides BM had easy access to Suzanne and had motive. It won't be hard to prove he killed her and moved her remains.

Ever since the original arrest affidavit, this has not been a mystery. It's even less so today.

His daughters, his mom and possibly other family members. Possibly others who still believe him.

IIRC, one of his daughters was living in a house that he help buy/hid assets in. Her house is probably now part of the collateral. Same with his mom. Someone probably took out a HELOC for the $300,000. He might have still owned property in his own name, which he is liquidating to pay legal fees.

Those are my theories, anyway.

IMO. He truly is expert in ruining other people's lives.

I'm guessing the sister that accused Lauren Scharf of ruining her family's life (because of course it was Lauren's fault Barry murdered Suzanne), is one of those supporters.

Maybe. But we don't know what they have at this point.
I think the most important evidence will be the obviously fake bike riding scenario, and all of his antics in the aftermath. There is a lot of evidence in his many talks with agent Grusing. Barry bragged about the BAM and the brutal and illegal assaults on the wildlife. And his alleged running around shooting chipmunks, at the same time his wife was home in her final living hours.

I think when the jury finally gets to the part of moving the body, it might not be a big sticking point to have to prove it. If they believe the angry, greedy husband was the killer because of what they saw about her final hours, then moving the body is just an afterthought. IMO

Maybe. But how many of these other people had any connection to the victim, much less have a solid motive, like an angry husband might have. Finding that cap in the dryer puts an exclamation point on it for me.

Cheap BM, My guess is most murderer's would want to get the clothes they wore as far away from LE as possible to avoid DNA. BM puts them in the dryer. It would be great if that is what nails him!

IMO let’s hope whomever is in charge of/responsible for monitoring BM via his GPS ankle monitor keeps better track of him than Denver Pre-Trial services did monitoring Robert Feldman who murdered his wife Stacy in 2015.
Feldman had pretty much same bond conditions as BM, restricted house arrest only allowed to leave for medical and lawyer appointments etc. He was arrested for his wife Stacy’s murder in February 2018, got out of jail on $1 mil bond in July 2018, and by October 2018 was violating the conditions.

This guy was out and about in Colorado on cameras, ironically bike riding to and around a few CO towns far from his southeast Denver home, ironically Broomfield being one of them. He was seen going into coffee shops, restaurants and stores tracking thousands of miles on his bike while wearing a GPS ankle monitor, all the while fitness tracker Strava was recording his travels and they were posted on a publicly accessible website! Denver’s Pre-Trial services didn’t get a court hearing until October 2020 to revisit Feldman’s bond and it was not revoked. SMDH. Fortunately he didn’t harm or kill anyone else while out on bond (that I’m aware of), but still imo it should have been revoked and he should’ve been arrested and sent back to jail. Thankfully Feldman was convicted of Stacy’s murder in April 2022, ironically same time as BM’s 1st case was dismissed.

**Personally I have little faith in GPS monitoring after following true crime for decades as too many cases to list of the GPS not working properly and/or suspects violating conditions- roaming all over town/state while under house arrest, cutting ankle monitor off, fleeing, offed themself before trial etc. *Sigh*

I recall the Feldman case and felt terrible for the victim's family and friends who were living this nightmare, knowing her killer was peddling all around town!

I can see the same use of daily freedom being true for BM. Today, all BM would be required to do is inform his probation/GPS monitor that he has a standing appointment in his attorney's office, M-F from 10 AM until noon, and requires 30 minutes of transportation time to and from their office. BM would have two hours to peruse his case file and also use his attorney's internet for whatever, all protected under privilege.

As written, advance notice with the monitor is what keeps the defendant compliant with the terms of his bail release. IMO, the Court already set the bar very low by not even requiring BM to remain within a specific boundary-- other than the State of Colorado! I don't doubt the defense would respond to any public complaints as violations of BM's civil rights, and this Court would probably agree. JMO

Anyone know how much the ankle monitor is costing Barry? Someone local to me was violated because he stopped paying the monthly fee. I’m not familiar with the laws regarding in Colorado. It’s not cheap, though. It adds up.

I'm thinking about the KY case related to the Sheriff shooting the Judge, where the GPS monitoring fees were due weekly and totaled about $400/mo.

Although it all comes out of the defendant's pocket, I believe many bail agents pay the monitoring fee to avoid any compliance issues with the court-- clouding the terms of release. JMO
