IMO let’s hope whomever is in charge of/responsible for monitoring BM via his GPS ankle monitor keeps better track of him than Denver Pre-Trial services did monitoring Robert Feldman who murdered his wife Stacy in 2015.
Feldman had pretty much same bond conditions as BM, restricted house arrest only allowed to leave for medical and lawyer appointments etc. He was arrested for his wife Stacy’s murder in February 2018, got out of jail on $1 mil bond in July 2018, and by October 2018 was violating the conditions.
This guy was out and about in Colorado on cameras, ironically bike riding to and around a few CO towns far from his southeast Denver home, ironically Broomfield being one of them. He was seen going into coffee shops, restaurants and stores tracking thousands of miles on his bike while wearing a GPS ankle monitor, all the while fitness tracker Strava was recording his travels and they were posted on a publicly accessible website! Denver’s Pre-Trial services didn’t get a court hearing until October 2020 to revisit Feldman’s bond and it was not revoked. SMDH. Thankfully (to my knowledge) he didn’t harm or kill anyone else while out on bond awaiting trial for his wife’s murder but still, he violated his bond conditions and imo it should have been revoked and he should’ve been arrested and sent back to jail. Thankfully Feldman was convicted of his wife’s murder in April 2022, ironically same time as BM’s 1st case was dismissed.

“In all, 9Wants to Know found that Bob Feldman had ridden his bicycle on more than 230 days since October 2018, and covered more than 3,000 miles — all while facing a murder charge in the death of his wife, Stacy Feldman.”
“Some of his bike rides were to medical clinics and his lawyer’s office. But others took him far from his southeast Denver home — to Broomfield, Golden, and Morrison — and included stops that were not allowed, according to court documents.”
“
We’ve always said it’s a tool and it’s not a perfect tool, and it certainly will most likely not stop someone who has a lethal or fatal plan to harm someone, right?” Mauro said. “
That device isn’t going to stop that. What it can do is serve as a deterrent.”
**Personally after following true crime for decades, sadly I don’t have much faith in GPS monitors/monitoring.
Too many cases of GPS monitor not working properly and too many to count suspects violating conditions- roaming all over town/state while under house arrest, cutting ankle monitor off, fleeing, offing themselves before trial etc. *Sigh*
ETA- Feldman was out on bond for 3.5 years before he went to trial due to delays. Killed his wife in 2015 and wasn’t held accountable until 2022 (7 years post murder). He’s currently serving LWOP. Let’s hope BM’s case for murdering Suzanne is adjudicated well before the 7 year mark (2027).
A Denver man charged with murdering his wife and awaiting trial on house arrest has repeatedly left his home for long bike rides — some lasting three hours or more — with stops at coffee shops, restaurants and stores, a 9Wants to Know investigation found. In all, 9Wants to Know found that Bob...
