He just said they had expert say that 89% of the time the skull is found with the other remains.

Well, Bingo, Buddy! A HUMAN animal moved it !

I have a feeling prison life will not be good to Mr. Redwine.

Hopefully not. Other inmates tend not to like child killers. Add to that his dining preferences and I can't imagine he'll be very popular.

"That's fine, As long as I get to come testify against Mark Redwine"---defense talking about dr Kurtsman, claiming poor mark was being targeted unfairly

Now Bogan is being extremely snarky disparaging DrFrance..
“ oh they were processing remains after 9/11 when the buildings fell.”

Grrrr. Hope there are firefighters and veterans on that jury.

Wait till the defense gets to poor Molly.

The esteemed Heather Johnson--she sure likes bears, but in her report she gives a time for hibernation---but generally there are outliers

and we know that bear attacks are rare---until they are not

So if Bogan wraps up today they will deliberate tomorrow - so if they can decide quickly would we get a verdict tomorrow?

Does he have about an hour left? (I have tuned him out). Then I think state goes maybe another hour (just a guess). Any final brief comments from Judge (already went over Jury Instructions). If I were a juror I would want to start deliberating TODAY, given it will be the first time they are permitted to talk about the case. Would at least want to choose foreperson and take an initial poll of guilt/innocence. I also would imagine they will have some influence over how late they choose to stay. So I'm hoping start today.

The defense is telling the jury that bear attacks on humans is rare and coyotes do not typically carry something like a skull very far. That doesn't help. Just saying that something is possible is not very strong evidence. JMO

It's up to you which expert you believe, if any...and you can believe some, all or nothing

Daniel Foster was the hiker from Louisiana that says he found the skull in a coyote den. The cool thing is, like the Judge said, you can believe the expert or you can believe him.

lol

I am wondering if defense will gift some of its 2 1/2 hours closing time to Mr. Moran.
Most likely, Mr. Johnson will do the wrap up for prosecution.
Most likely, case will be turned over to jury today.

The forensic blood evidence isn't really strong IMO.

What is strong is Mark denying multiple times that Dylan bled in his house until the FBI truck arrived and he knew they would find Dylan's blood.

We the go from Dylan not bleeding to having a cold sore that dripped blood to a last gasp story about a nerf ball cutting his lip which made him spit blood on the floor. All in rapid succession.

I doubt the defense will bring that up either. JMO

"but we got met Clayton and he had a luminol gun' <<<Defense says all sarcastically

Bogan's attempt at voice impersonation is extremely poor.

Bogan yells ALAS!
Prosecutors look like they are trying not to laugh.
DA Champagne rubbing his forehead.

Or people from New York. Or America.

defense says Echerhorn testified that luminol can tell when someone tried to clean up blood---

[sorry, but that is not true in EVERY circumstance---there are some solvents which can disguise the clean up]

Next up Total slandering of dogs.

Mark said that Dylan spit blood on the floor. Someone cleaned it up right? Or is the defense saying that Mark lied about that?

The jury will pickup on this easily. JMO
