I am confidant that the CBI, FBI and all the other agencies involved are searching every square inch of the home and beyond for information and evidence, as well as intensely scrutinizing all statements, phone records, computer records, airport video footage, backgrounds, & movements of everyone related to this case down to the second that Dylan arrived (and before). I am sure that this will turn something up, especially if there is family involvement.

My opinion at this point is that this case could turn in any direction. Anything is possible. Unfortunately, the information we are receiving from LE is limited at this time, but I believe this is part of giving them time to do their job, as well as preserving the integrity of the investigation. Fortunately, or unfortunately, we have become pros here in Colorado.

I hope for a press conference soon so we have some sort of direction. If this is indeed a stranger abduction, I sure would like to start hunting this 🤬🤬🤬 down.

I'm going on my gut feeling right now, and I could and probably will be wrong.

I think the dad killed Dylan as he became a financial burden. JMO

Per Kevin Torres:
As of 10:30 AM search dogs were brought out onto the Lake and they found four locations where they picked up what appears to be human scent. the sheriff i spoke with, who Has been on the force for 34 years says that he has never had to deal with a situation like this involving a missing teen where they can't find any clues. New Mexico dive team is about to enter the lake within the next hour or two. 32 minutes ago

Keep in mind folks - it could be nothing. We should know more in a couple of hours. 13 minutes ago
Search dogs for human scent? That's odd. Is that a polite way of stating that they are cadaver dogs?

I have several nagging questions.

One is about the older brother. He is 21 and he also goes by the last name Redwine. So is he Mark's son too? I wonder if he visits him and what he thinks about the disappearance.

I also wonder what Dad said they did on Sunday night. Dylan made no calls after 8 pm. And I don't think there have been any reports of him IM'ing any friends or posting on any social media sites. So I wonder what they were so busy with that night. Most 13 yr olds find a way to squeeze in a tweet, a text or an instagram, even while watching netflix or playing a videogame with dad.

But my most urgent question concerns the last sighting at 7:30 am. When Dad was leaving to do his 4 hours of errands, what did he think that his 13 yr old was going to be doing at that time? Dylan was apparently up and dressed. So did Dad ask what his plans were?

Dad apparently knew Dylan wanted to go to a friend's house and dad had the address to that friend's home (because dad later showed up there and asked about Dylan's location). There is some ominous reason why dad take Dylan to this friend's home on his way out the door at 7:30 am.

What is the name of the lake that is being searched? Are houses near the lake? Is there a store at the marina? I hope there are some surveillance cameras in that area. TIA

RS&BBM ... This action by the father bothers me greatly.

I agree about the no calls or texts after 8pm. My 13 y/o dtr would FIND a way to squeeze that in, even if it meant having to do it from the bathroom. He had to have had his phone taken away, which makes one assume there was an argument.

I also wonder why dad wouldn't question why Dylan was up and dressed at 7:30. Although, some reports say it is unknown what he was wearing, so, maybe dad didn't really see him up and dressed. I will go with the neighbors sighting of him with his back pack, however. Why did he need his back pack?

Where did MR think he was going with his friends that sent him to their house to check for him? How did he think Dylan was supposed to get there? Did Dylan give his friends one story and dad another? Was Dylan concocting a story to run away? Maybe he wasn't happy at mom or dads.

I was wondering the same thing. :frown:

Me too. It seems to indicate that Dad knew Dylan had plans with his friends that day. So we have to wonder, WHY didn't Dad drop him off there while he was off doing his 4 hours of errands?

Also, I really want to know what he was doing for four hours on Monday morning. That is a lot of time for 'errands.'

I don't think he ran away. from his pictures, he seems to be really close to his
older brother. I think he would have turned to him in times of need, and not just run off into the wilderness.

The dynamics of this case are very sad. In 1981, at the age of 12, I was able to go before a judge in a private hearing and state my wishes and reasoning on the record for wanting to end visitations with my mother. Visitations were ended for a variety of compelling reasons, but my wishes were given a great deal of weight, which left me with a sense of empowerment and personhood that nourished my growing years. Dylan, we're with you, honey.

It is interesting that a reward fund hasn't been established. Do the police/FBI believe they have all the necessary information to find Dylan?

I can see the dad thinking 6:30 or 7:30 was too early to go to someone's house, but it makes me wonder why he went there later looking for Dylan. How did he think Dylan would get there? Didn't someone say it was many miles? A 13 year old could walk a mile or two (maybe shouldn't for safety reasons, but could) but probably wouldn't walk much farther than that. The only thing I can think of is that Dylan said if his dad wouldn't take him so early, he would get the friend's parent to pick him up later and the dad just assumed it had happened.

From Kevin Torres FB page (mods, please delete if not considered appropriate):

Just spoke with the owner of the search and rescue dogs he told me that all three of his dogs picked up a strong scent where these three cones are floating in the water. they noticed it over the last two days. he says the chances of it being a human body are high. he says it is highly unlikely that it is anything else like an animal or critter. when I asked him whether it could be absolutely nothing he said that is unlikely. At this point we are still waiting for the New Mexico dive team to get into the water.
