If not exact times, Denise Hess (family friend) did give some clarification narrowing down times on NG tonight which perplexes me a bit.

She reiterated that Dylan's flight got into Durango around 6, 6:30. We had that general idea already, had collected that information via airport / flight records, and today LE asked for any video footage from 6pm Sunday evening on. So the 6pm /6:30 time is important.

Denise Hess also mentioned, when asked what their plans included for the week together, that Dylan and his dad went grocery shopping after Dad picked Dylan up from the airport. It doesn't matter where this took place between Durango and Vallecito, but I got every impression that it took place on the way home. My mapquest search has the trip from the airport to dad's home at about 1hr /40miles.

Sgt Bender 'confirmed' (if we can say that) the 8pm'ish time estimate was the last time Dylan's phone had activity.

I'm going to take these activities and plot them conservatively - Let's say Dylan landed at 6:15 and was in dad's car quickly within minutes. Let's say the drive home took 45 minutes. Food shopping let's say took 20 minutes. That puts us at 7:20pm. I think that's rushing things, personally, if we knew the flight landed a little later, if we knew how long the trip from airport to dad's house really took and if we could estimate how long food shopping might take.

Anyways, my point is the last phone activity was at 8. The closer to 8pm all of this puts us, the harder time I have reconciling what happened to Dylan's phone, if not Dylan. And since LE doesn't seem to have an explanation about his phone, or one they're not making public, it really has me wondering what might've happened to Dylan around 8 if he wasn't at dad's house by 8. all jmo.

Does that make any sense? My brain is scrambled eggs right now.

I got to thinking, the airport times are very easy, fast in and out(I have taken planes in and out of Durango to Denver). As for the shopping if they went into Durango(which I would think he might have)then it would be a good amount of time(there is a Super Walmart on the edge of town). I would say they may not of even been home by 8pm yet from shopping and the airport.

I don't think LE ruled out Dylan leaving the house on his own, but have said that the reason they do not believe he ran away is due to his not using his phone or SM at all, very unlike him. They do not believe he meant to stay away, if he did walk out of the house. Anyway, JMO. (I don't believe he would have even left the house without using his phone, however.)

I just can't get past the thought that this second boy hasn't been identified. The resident knew Dylan but didn't know the second boy? The second boy was never reported missing. So I'm stuck not quite believing that Dylan was actually seen.

I believe they have said that the sighting was not of Dylan

Just wondering out loud. I don't know where the links are to support these several items however they are somewhere. My points are in regards to Dylan having no cell reception once he reached his Dads House. Carrier dependant. It has been reported Dylan last visited his Dads Labor Day weekend. Would he not had contact with at least one of his friends that weekend? My point being a Friend/s reported trying to reach Dylan most of Monday. Would his friends not be aware if he had no cell service when at Dads? Just pondering some points.

I get hesitant on posting--but here are a few things and my take on some of this case--first a reason for the time of video requested might be maybe when dad got up Monday morning--said he saw DR--maybe at that time DR already left--maybe he stacked up something (pillows) to look like him under the covers--dad didnt hear a reply so left and DR already gone???

No cell--maybe as all been saying no reception--also if his batter died over night, etc no way to get on it to see what friends, etc numbers are--i know i dont memorize phone numbers anymore

I also starting to wonder if LE thinks it was a semi--planned kidnapping per se--just until the visit was done and DR was to leave--then when they realized DR didnt return that is when the panic set in--that would explain a little why everything (backpack, cell, charger, etc) was missing--maybe DR was told to be ready by such and such a time--cell would then have to remain turned off so no one could find them--just another thought

also imo a visit with a divorce lawyer at that time could have been sheer coincidence--could have been scheduled for weeks who knows---but i do know that when custody is separate like that all visits are court ordered pretty much---only time they arent (at least where i live) was joint/aka here shared custody where all is 50/50 then the actually visitation records isnt written so a court ordered visit i think is moot really probably was set up that way at the last hearing--dad gets thanksgiving, mom--christmas, etc--just seems to be theway it works---plus if they had shared custody from 2007 (divorce) until this past year the court certainly did not think of dad as too violent or a threat that is 5 years it was that way

justmy basic thoughts

Was the home that Dad went to (the home Dylan was supposed to visit) RN's home?

*He had an accident and no one has found him yet

This happened to Jake & Ray.

I have thought about the Gail Palmgren case, her and husband having problems she disappears and who looks guilty? She was found months later. Turns out she evidently lost control of her vehicle and took a drive over a cliff not far from the family home.

This case is starting to remind me of Isa's case...

On most points I guess we just have to agree to disagree.

Good question! I'm not sure which of the kids homes he went to but for some reason I thought all three that were interviewed for the paper were there.

Ryan said he and his friends expected Dylan’s father to drive him into town from Vallecito, but Dylan never arrived.

Mark Redwine showed up later asking where Dylan was but the three friends didn’t know.

One thing I know for sure, is that LE knows a heck of lot more than I do. Oh, to know what they know. Hopefully they are on this and things are rolling along. Things and info that we will never see. So all that leaves is guess and speculation. Boo. I wanna know what they do!!!

Sorry... Totally O/T.....This cracks me up, SailorMoon... That you are from Dallas, TX... But are a Patriots Fan.... And I am from California... But am a Dallas Cowboys fan....maybe we are loyalty challenged? :waitasec: :D

I would say they may not of even been home by 8pm yet from shopping and the airport.

You're right on with my thoughts when I wrote that post. I'm not familiar with the airport but the flight was really short and the plane must've been pretty small and I'm guessing Dylan didn't have checked luggage, not to mention a child travelling alone was probably allowed to de-plane first and should've been met by Dad or escorted to dad by airport personnel. So yes I think that would've been quick too. As for the grocery shopping I was thinking about Super Walmart. I was going to search for grocery stores on the route from the airport to dad's home but didn't get around to it last night. We have SW's all over the place where I am, they have cameras everywhere and of course the stores are huge so even if the shopping was fast it still takes time to get a few items. If they got food and anything in other departments that takes longer walking from department to department. I know when I go in for "a few things" it takes half an hour!

Again my original point which you echoed was that by the time his flight landed, potentially by the time they finished grocery shopping and drove home arriving at dad's home , it could've been well after 8pm. In theory it makes sense that they could've still been on the road at 8 when Dylan's last phone activity occured and he never used it again. Never used it all at dad's house. Whatever that means. Was the phone never at dad's? Was Dylan at dad's?

What if anything did dogs pick up in dad's house in regards to Dylan's scent? Where was Dylan's phone last pinging? -- Was it from dad's home or en route to his home?

Yes it sounded like he was supposed to meet up with all 3 boys but I was curious as to where they were meeting? What I read just said the Dad arrived at the home where he thought Dylan was and I haven't found anything that says whose home that was specifically? I saw the comment that RN had been calling Dylan but that doesn't necessarily mean it was his home.

I didn't see where that happened but it isn't unusual or personal. We often use other posts as jumping off points and go another direction. Chances are something you said just sparked a thought for another poster.

Did this get posted in the media/timeline thread also? If not, I can make a post for it.

Thank you so much!
