looks like a volunteer search is being planned for this weekend

"It's very frustrating for us that Dillon still is not home," said Denise Hess, close friends with Elaine Redwine.

She's been organizing the searches.

Hess is planning an "aggressive" search this weekend, with experienced hikers, to scour the rough terrain around the Vallecito Reservoir.

"Beat the brush, turn over logs, whatever we can do to see if there is anything up there," she explained.

Hess is also spearheading a benefit dinner for search funds.

The community also wears blue and black ribbons for Dylan's safe return.

Nothing. Video of Dylan at Walmart doesn't exactly prove he arrived at home. All the video proves is that he made it to Walmart.

FWIW, the video proves MR was telling the truth when he said they stopped at Walmart.

Why would anyone think MR lied about Walmart to begin with? Considering Walmarts have videos.

But FBI has been there helping for days right?
Wouldn't FBI be able to offer help in areas a tiny
PD doesn't have experience in ?

yes. I was referring to how it was handled in the start.

It has also been my experience in other cases that once the fbi is on scene things get even more quiet

I saw one truck being towed. What is the other one? Anyone know? tia

All I could see was it was a full size white four door truck.

The police have not even mentioned what kind of vehicle he drives though and there are millions of white pickups on the roads.

I saw he has a small camper trailer parked at his home.

That makes no sense imo.

I think they would. They know they are going to get tips from some loo loos anyway just wanting to have something to say but they still would want all sighting tips called in. They are aware that usually the tips called in only 10% of them or less turnout to produce credible tips anyway. They would have much more attention if they were specific on which vehicle they are looking for.

The way it is now no one even knows what vehicle they are supposed to have seen or videoed. Its so generalized and I think that is exactly how they are looking at this investigation. They want to see who ALL was in these areas during those periods.......not just MR....everyone who may have been there in those areas at that time. We are almost 2 and a half weeks out now and we still dont even know what kind of vehicle MR drives.

IMO

I think THEY know what vehicle they are looking for.

This is a hard age and sounds as Dylan didn't have the simplest of lives.
My heart aches for him and my hope is he is at peace.
I pray he is found soon and if was harmed I pray justice will come.

Yes that is what I thought she meant too.

My neighbor was in the lake......the dogs alerted when taken out in the water on boats....they never found her but she was and is still in there somewhere the poor sweet soul.:(

So they can miss bodies especially when the water is cold where bodies dont rise but will stay on the bottom or caught up under some debris and every lake has debris and hidden bed pockets in them.

IMO

If they didn't find your neighbor in the lake, how is it known she's in the lake? Did someone see her drown? Just curious.

You could be right.
Maybe some RSO said he was home all night, but
his neighbor says he was out in his vehicle and
they are looking for it on a video.

If it was a RSO it would be all over the news!

What frightens me is that it's not an RSO, but a SO, who could be anybody. Then what??

Yes .. somewhere in threads-gone-by she explained that someone saw her go in the lake and never came up .. they never found her body..

creepy, huh?

I honestly dont think THEY are looking for one particular vehicle. All they had to do is come out and give a description of the vehicle. It would cut to the chase and cutout a lot of wasted man hours to boot.

I have found these investigators are thorough and have had open minds from the get go. A very refreshing thing to see nowadays. I dont think they have just assumed that MR has done this. For all we know they may be thinking that someone on the other side of his family abducted Dylan so MR would lose his visitation rights completely. I dont think they are dismissing anything other than he did not runaway.

LE doesnt prove cases on assumptions and speculations imo. They look for facts. They have stressed clearly everytime they have spoken out that MR is not considered a suspect and its nice to see even the media in this case makes sure that is included in their articles everytime.

IMO
