Hmmm, I'm not finding anything like that. Do you have a quote?

someone even took pictures of tv screen to show past records and posted them here....would be right after mom was on NG

I don't think we are allowed to talk about arrest history, unless these were in a new report that I missed somewhere???

His record was released by NG. There are screenshots of his charges here in these threads.

I'm not sure the dogs used were trailing dogs. In many places there are cadaver dogs mentioned. And there is a pictures of a German Xhephard seemingly over the water near where a cadaver dog made a "hit". The a couple of articles seem to clarify "Air scent" dogs. Also it was said that no scent article was available until mom brought some, so maybe they didn't use trailing dogs since they are not effective without a scent article.

Air scent dogs don't normally discriminate scents - they just find people and not necessarily a certain person. If that was the type of dog used, then it would make more sense that LE asked the public NOT to go knock on doors because it would impede the investigation. However some air scent dogs are cross trained in discriminate scenting (albeit uncommon), so who knows what was used here.

As far as the two photos, though I do not seen much difference personally, Dylan may not have wanted to go inside Walmart, maybe he wanted to stay in the car and use his phone, as an example. (I've managed to avoid Walmarts all of my life and wouldn't blame him, lol.) But seriously, a sour-faced teen (if he was) is hardly an extraordinary sight when with a parent. Or, something like that could have caused a big argument that kept on going. Who knows?

There are a lot of rules in statement analysis that light up the hinky meter when he speaks. Including some of the cliches used like ' out like a light' and ' we struggled with..' jmo

No offense, but I really cringe when statement analysis is brought up (even more so than when posters use occam's razor in their arguments). There's no scientific basis for statement analysis and, in my opinion, it's likely a big mistake to conceive of it as a system that can determine whether specific phrases indicate truthfulness or lying.

The Skeptic's Dictionary has a good write-up on it:

I totally agree!

Do we know if dad submitted to another polygraph?

Anyone have an exact date on when he lawyered up? I doubt he will take another poly, his counsel probably advised against it.

If it were me, lawyer or not, I'd take another to clear myself. Heck, I'd saw off my own right arm, if I thought it would help bring my kid home!

I'm curious as to the timing.

I think I'm just a bit synical by nature. I think things like psychic "sightings", statement analysis, etc. are interesting and I'm sure there are times that folks that have these specialties are on to something. I suppose my jury is still partly out on these types of things.

Arghhhhh! Don't even get me started on psychics! When even ONE succeeds in finding and bringing home a single missing child, I'll listen.

IMO they're vultures that feed on the souls of the grieving, and their wallets.

I haven't been on thread much today, but did I miss something? Did they release results of MR's poly? Did he for sure take one and now are you saying he failed it? tia

My understanding, he took one, it was inconclusive and was expected to take another,

Is [link removed] a real news site? When I do google searches, gather articles sometimes come up but I can't tell if it is an actual site or not.

I don't think that's fair. I'm sure everyone is thinking about Dylan but with nothing to work with, what can people do? I dip in and out of here but it's pretty much always the same debates going round and round. I can't physically search for Dylan and we have so few genuine facts to work with. There are other threads that are really quiet, so I'm trying to visit those and see if I can add anything while I wait for LE to give more info in this case.

Sorry Wolf, I absolutely didn't mean it as a slight. It's just that we are just beating a dead horse here with theories that go one way and back around. I've gone full circle about 10 times myself. I don't think anyone has forgotten for sure. It is just an indication that the trail is cold and desperation is settling in :(

No it is not; it is a site where anyone can write an "article" and is not at all MSM. (mainstream media).

I mentioned earlier that I found it noteworthy that MR skipped over Sunday eve; he mentioned that Dylan stayed up late Saturday evening, prior to flying in, but then jumps over to Monday morning, when Dylan purportedly slept in. It took me a couple of days to realize it, but suddently it occured to me that there is a skip in time...what Dylan did two nights prior does not explain why he would sleep in two mornings later. When I asked you other folks if any of you had come across any media quotes where MR specifically refers to Sunday night, no one was able to provide a single quote. What is particularly interesting about that is that we, as observers, fill in the blanks with logic (i.e. in essense, Dylan went to bed early Sunday eve), but MR never actually said that...he glossed right over Sunday night.

For what it's worth, I did some poking around and in statement analysis, this skipping of time is significant: It is referred to as "temporal lacunae", and when such skips in time are evident in statement analysis, it may point to something in the subject's mind that he/she is withholding from us. This is the time period in which he/she "did" what he/she "did" and he/she does not want to stop to explain. The skipping points to a time period that is sensitive.....
Now I'm not at all versed in statement analysis, and I have no idea if the concept is applicable in this particular scenario, but it certainly gave me reason to pause..
how 'bout you?

IMO its significent.

I have found it odd about the late night saturday caused Dylan to want to sleep in on monday. If he had such a late night saturday its more likely he would have slept in sunday, and we have no information about what time he got up on sunday, only that he took a late afternoon/early evening flight. The duration of that flight was under an hour, even allowing for the hour delay. IMO Dylan didn't spend anywhere near most of sunday in the airport, as a guess he probably got to the airport around 3pm so for all we know he could have slept most of the morning.
