oooops! I was sitting at a restaurant eating lunch, trying to type on the teensy smartphone screen.

:blushing:

Well I am from Texas with a Tennessee accent. You should see what my phone or computer types if I try to voice my texts. Some are x rated. lol I thought it was funny.

I don't want him to be dead. Isn't TES for body recovery??

  • #63
Sure, blame the smart phone. I call user error.

*to be clear this is a joke. DM is one of my most fav posters.

You just love me for my typos (whether they are intentional or not) :great:

If LE had a reason to target a specific search area, I believe they would call on TES. The reluctance to bring them in at this point is probably because the search is random, and they're reluctant to ask TES to use their resources on what might be, for lack of a better term, a wild goose chase. It's best to hold off until a time when -- hopefully -- they have reason to pinpoint a particular location. IMO

If they haven't pinpointed a particular location by now, then unlikely they will be able to do so in the future.

I simply want him found, every child deserves to be brought home, regardless of condition.

Brining over from last thread......................

I thought I would post this timeline again to help us out about text's and things like that:

Timeline of events in Dylan Redwine case

Respectfully snipped by me.

I wish we could have a timeline created, with links included, that addressed all facts and verified information, and that could be at the beginning of each thread.

Toward the end of the last thread (#11), a poster was asking about the fishing pole found at the reservoir (searchers originally thought it might be Dylan's), but much earlier along the way, it was proven to belong to someone else. Another poster did respond with a link to the info about the fishing pole, but getting behind and missing info happens quite often with those of us who get behind on our reading.

I know this would take time to create, especially after a case has gone on for several days, but if a dedicated reader could begin one, and others could post additional info to be added, perhaps not a totally onerous task?

I, for one, would be extremely appreciative of such a timeline, and not just for Dylan's case. Other cases I try to follow get away from me, too. Wish I had the time to do that for the cases I read. If wishes were horses . . .

Thanks to all of you dedicated readers and posters who try to keep those of us who post less frequently on the right track!! I'm so impressed by the folks I read here, and am thankful for your interest in trying to help the families of victims.

OK, so he lives in four corners? right? but he is originally from Colorado Springs and his father lives in the Durango area of CO?

  • #68
I think Dylan lives in either Colorado Springs or perhaps Monument area. Dad lives near Durango.

Why would LE say hold off ( assuming this is true, it is fb after all ) unless they have reason to believe they are on the verge of finding him? Or already have info that there is ....... no urgency in the search ? :(

Also with regards to ES and Casey Anthony getting billed........perhaps ES searches are only free IF the child is ' truly lost' and in this case they feel he is 'not lost' so much as ' not located yet' and one of the major players KNOWS where he is . If someone, like a perp, KNOWS where he is, then he is not truly lost. Just thinking out loud.

I read that they are suing CA because her lawyer's claimed in court that CA had died by accident in the pool. He is suing her (for fraud?) based in the fact that it's on record that she knew CA was deceased, and still called in TM and his group in to spend about 112k on false pretenses. He's only asking for what money was lost so he can apply forward to another family who is in actual need of his resources. It's on a lot of MSM sites.

No, they do searches and recoveries. They've had many successful recoveries of live survivors.

We all want him to be found safe.

Thanks! If Dylan was still alive Monday morning then I believe an accident occurred on that road so I'm glad they will be searching it.

The road they are searching is not the one going into Bayfield. Just FYI.

I did not know there was a history of violence and alcohol abuse with both parents until watching that video. Hmmm....not a good combo.

Someone said that LE has not said specifially that Mark Redwine is not a suspect...

But I have heard Sgt. Bender say several times he is not a suspect.

Mark Redwine is not a suspect and has cooperated in the investigation, Dan Bender, a spokesman for the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office, has said.

The older kid seems to be violent too.

It mentions in the court papers that he tried to throw a woman down the stairs leaving bruises and the woman admitted she could not control him and was afraid of him. This was when he was 16 years old.

Who could this woman have been? His mother or grandmother since he would be living with Elaine at that time and she would be the one trying to control his behavior.

Yes, court papers filed by dad. Where is the supporting documentation? Police reports, victim statement? Etc?

Thank you. All of those documents are he said/she said type of reports. They are perspectives and accusations, not facts. The truth is probably in there somewhere, of course.
