From the posts I've read so far - do I have this right?

If he sent texts to DR and waited for an answer before checking with the friends, he is guilty and sending texts to cover it up.

If he had gone directly to check with the friends, he's guilty and knew he wouldn't answer a text

If he waited to call the police, he was guilty and working on covering his tracks

If he had called them right away, he's guilty and already knew he was dead

If he avoids the press, he's guilty and doesn't want people to realize it (or doesn't care)

If he talks to the press, he's guilty and just wanting attention for himself

If he ignores ER, he's guilty and just being cold and unhelpful

If he talks to ER, he's guilty and killed him to get her back into the area

If he says he passed the LDT, he's guilty and lying about it

If he says his LDT was inconclusive, he's guilty and lied about it during the test

If he stays away from the searches, he's guilty and being uncooperative

If he helps with the searches, he's guilty and wants to be around to hide evidence.

:waitasec:

I think you've pretty much nailed it. He's damned if he do, and damned if he don't. This happens in a lot of cases, though.

He said he went home, went to bed and slept. Are we supposed to get videos? I think I'll pass. :what:

No we dont need videos but you have a father that has his son for the holiday
seems there was no interaction at all.

They were all toooo tired!

IMO-I would like to see them search Dylan's home computer. Find out who he was talking to, who may have known he would be at his Dad's, see if there were any plans with anyone other than his texting friends, etc.

I'm going to have to go searching, but I swear I've seen that they did that. I'll go scanning for it in a little bit if no one else links it first.

He has an attorney though, his divorce attorney. He just saw him the Monday that Dylan disappeared.

Hi Paul - I'm just playing catch up and wasn't sure if you saw MR does reportedly have another lawyer:

VALLECITO, Colo., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- A Colorado man whose son has been missing for two weeks says he has hired an attorney, and that he suspects his son was hitchhiking when he disappeared.

Mark Redwine told The Denver Post he hired a criminal lawyer to watch his back while he presses the search for his 13-year-old son, Dylan Redwine, who disappeared from the Pine River Valley two weeks ago.

If I was sitting across the table from God, the last thing I would be thinking about is my cell phone!

It probably wasn't the best analogy, considering I'm an atheist ! Lol

Lol that tends to happen when I'm having five conversations at once, the folks here...and the rude ones in real life that pretend not to notice I'm busy posting!

OT:I am jealous that you actually did some of your shopping. I was in the mall yesterday, and ended up doing ONE tiny errand and turning around and going home. LOL It was too overwhelming, too crowded and too darn Chrsitmassy for me at the time.

:floorlaugh: Your idea of shopping sounds just like mine!

I avoid malls at all costs...

Shop mainly on-line and local stores... if I have to...

And need therapy the minute I do absolutely have to walk into a mall! :what:

Still, seems odd he is not trying. Often you can text when you can't call, as we have heard. Anyway, just an observation.

If he's like my son was then/is now, he's got his hand on his phone in his pocket waiting for the next text to come in. Then a quick peek and stealthy reply. My DH swears my son does blind texting sometimes. (Sort of like touch typing but with phone in pocket.) The object is not to let 'them' (parents/teachers) see you doing it.

My gosh, I have been gone almost 2 days and it seems like there is still nothing new! So sad!

I see students with phones all the time. Usually I give a warning. Just don't flaunt it in my face lol

There were no dogs on today's search, right?

We are nearing the end of thread 14 and we're no closer to answers or finding Dylan.

If we had the answer to one question only that might give us the MOST insight into what went on ,,,what would it be? I don't mean a question that we think LE knows but is not telling us. I was thinking earlier today. If we knew the answer to this >>>>>>>

Did Dylan go to MR's house on Sunday and sleep there ? <<<then we would know a lot.

Actually, this is what bothers me most about everything we know. 13 year olds with cell phones text non-stop. NON-STOP. And they can text with lightening speed. Blows my mind.

I just cannot fathom Dylan not texting anyone at all after he texted his mom. I cannot imagine it. At the very least, the friends he was supposed to meet for fishing early the next morning to confirm plans. I can think of about 50 others as well if he compares to most 13 yr. old boys. Makes no sense to me at all.

Where is Dylan's cell phone? Because I think that would tell us a lot.

from above article:
"His priority was pretty much with his friends, so I wasn't alarmed," Redwine said, adding Dylan may have been impatient waiting for transportation home and set off on his own.

:waitasec:

If Mark didn't give Dylan a ride Monday morning, then how did Dylan get to his friends' house?
So now he is saying he thinks Dylan was hitchhiking home - to his house - from his friends' house in Bayfield?
Am I reading this right? I haven't heard him say that Dylan was hitchhiking home? :waitasec:

True, but don't most people go where they are familiar and comfortable?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This just made me think of something...

Didn't MR say he was actually a "city boy at heart"?

Should we/LE be looking more into the city...

Maybe where Walmart/McDonald's is?

If he is/was a trucker... are there storage areas (in the city) he has access to?

just some thoughts...

Can I ask an open-ended question?

I want to know everything there is to know about Dylan's cell and dad's cell.

Just hand over all of the pertinent records, please.

I'd want to know who was talking to who, when, for how long, where they were pinging, what were they saying, and how they were communicating (text or call).
