I'd also like to know if Dylan has hitchhiked before. I suspect he has judging from comments from friends and family but it would very helpful to know, and if he was reckless when choosing who to hitchhike with.

I kind of think if anyone ever saw him hitching or out on a road at any time they would have called LE and said something.

Cant really rule it out but cant rule it in either.

I agree, I said this last night. The phone will not be able to prove much they don't already know, such as how it got there, who threw it out, etc. I don't think they would gather up hundreds of searchers for a phone. JMO

It would prove something happend to him THERE. before he arrived to the house.

I dont think Dylan is in that area. And I think they would have dogs with them.

Not really. It might indicate that, but it would not prove it.

I am wondering about DR's friends, were they trying to contact him Monday morning? Are there records of call attempts? Even if the phone is off it may connect to a mailbox? Were his friends active at 6:30am or did they sleep in too?
