Marc's thoughts on hitchhiking -

The only road between his father's house and his friends who he would have been meeting was a very remote road. If he was abducted it would have been a local.

2 possibilities -

The father is involved or he fell down a sinkhole and disappeared. (the last comment was in jest obviously).

Clearly, Marc Klaas does not feel good at all about Mark Redwine.

Get out the rope! He's already been found guilty.

Stands to reason if he passed with flying colors, he would say so. Imo

Probably. However, inconclusive doesn't sound like the type of results one would wish to discuss in the media. I'm not an expert on LDT, so I don't know what would lead to an "inconclusive" result.

Could it be something like this - perhaps MR showed deception on a question such as "are you responsible for Dylan's disappearance?", while not showing deception on questions such as "do you know what happened to Dylan? Did you murder Dylan?", etc. The one question that showed deception could be attributed to feelings of guilt over Dylan and therefore being indirectly responsible.

Is that how it works?

Thought: Earlier this week I dropped my phone for the 1000th time. This time, though....it shattered. To the point that it was unusable, because the LCD panel or whatever messed up and it was just a blur behind the cracked glass. (Yes, it was in an Otterbox. They don't work.) Anyway, I had my old iPhone laying around and was able to just switch out the SIM cards, otherwise I would have had no phone access. It's been a long time since I had a nontouch screen phone, but I am trying to remember if my old Razr was "crack able" per se. There is a possibility that something along these lines happened to Dylan's phone, and maybe he didn't tell his dad right away. My son absolutely knows that I love him, but when he cracked his iPod Touch, he waited a few days to tell me because he thought I'd be mad. He might not have wanted to tell mom OR dad. That wouldn't make sense to me, but he's 13, and kids just think differently than we do.

I know it's a long shot, but since it happened to me recently, I thought I'd throw the idea out on the table.

Btw OT: I've had every iPhone except the 5 and I got a HTC One X in June. It took me a second to get used to an Android, but now that I'm back using this 4S, I realize that the iPhone really sucks compared to my HTC!

Inconclusive can mean a lot of things. It could be as simple as saying no when asked if he was irritated.

Sorry but what makes Mark Klass and expert. jmo

So a person would go back, the questions would be rephrased and redone.

Marc: Mark Redwine was cruel to not answer his son Corey or other family members when they were trying to contact him after Dylan went missing.

When a family goes missing that is the one time that families, even the most contentious, "rally the wagons" and put their differences aside for the sake of their missing child.

Well I don't know if he qualifies as a 'legal expert' on things like this but surely he's followed hundreds or more of these type of cases since his own child was taken. Think about his own situation........ his child taken from her own room? The scrutiny on Klaas would have been astronomical so his experience is you help LE in any way all the time , no matter what , if you want to find your child. So I'd say he's pretty close to an expert on the matter !
^^^ this makes me wonder, the Klaas case was so long ago. I wonder if Klaas was still considered a suspect or POI until they found his daughter and realized he was not guilty or were they able to clear him with her still missing . That would be interesting to know.

Answer to to the search ?:

Very natural for him to participate in the search. LE would love it because they could observe him. It would be even more suspect if he did not participate.

I have a question for them. Why is it more cruel to not return text messages from someone who is bitter and possibly accusatory right away than to accuse someone of murdering his own son on national tv?

I have a question:
If MR killed Dylan in his truck or home, wouldn't cadaver dogs have alerted?

I posted it in the chat thread.

I honestly don't care about the results, I don't base my opinions on them. What I do look at is a parents willingness to take them.

I don't often agree with Mark Klass and tonight I'm as far away from agreeing with him as ever.

All fathers do not act like he did when his daughter was kidnapped. As far as I'm concerned MR is not at all acting like Ayla's biological father who is a poor excuse for a human being! (definitely my opinion)

Since Marc brought up Redwine's temper and since there have been a number of posts about premeditation vs not, I thought I'd throw out my thoughts on this.

MR went out of his way to insure that Dylan did come for his visitation. He wanted it and apparently went to some trouble to insist on it being honored. Then he went out of his way to drive to the Durango area to meet Dylan for visitation.

Then Dylan's flight was canceled. MR had a day to stew about this, possibly while drinking. IF (big if) he was the sort to take everything personally and IF he still had an explosive temper, and IF he still drank and exhibited inappropriate behavior while drinking, then I think these all converged into a premeditated rage.

It is possible that Dylan's frownie in the text to his mom may have indicated his Dad's drinking and belligent attitude on his arrival.

He was on that show with her. Said it probably wasn't the best thing that she could have done however she was trying hard to back away from that. He can understand considering her state of mind with her son missing and her worries about her ex's history.

just another way of saying that she can do anything out of the ordinary because she's a grieving mother, but he can't do anything out of the ordinary or it proves he's guilty. Thanks
