You perhaps missed that post...LOL

the thread has been moving quickly, hasn't it?:floorlaugh:

I guess I did. (Sorry Ransom.) I'm trying to read fast and I'm not always clicking on the links because there have been so many repeats and my computer is running slow. Takes forever to load anything.

Thanks for answering me. :)

Here's my thinking and pondering ............ wonder where Mike was during this alleged party where MR was allegedly having possible sex with an allegedly unknown woman in the front perhaps yard? Because I've been wondering why MR was even at a party if they were so unfriendly and things so heated. But now it might make more sense if Mike was with ER as in , dating again, what not, and MR showed up, perhaps uninvited to create a scene because he was jealous or something. Maybe ER has moved Mike back in and MR thinks Oh I'll show YOU and commences to alleged sex on the front lawn, with the intention of her seeing it and getting so sad cuz let's face it MR IS SO HOT , that she throws Mike back out and takes him back. Food for thought. Nothing like an X to show up and mess things up and ER's got 2 of them..... * i think i just broke a lot of TOS , but I m not sure so Mods bear down on me if you must * :( Did I mention imho, moo and all that jazz and I didnt' accuse ANYONE of doing ANYTHING to Dylan, so I might skate by !

For all we know he did. I don't think LE can arrest someone if they make a claim that their estranged ex-whatever is drinking and driving, since they didn't observe the behavior.

I'd think if it was reported when it was happening then LE would have made an arrest, if they follow up information at the time then they would have observed the behaviour.

I have no idea what it's like in the US but here if a member of the public contacts the police about someone drink driving the police tend to follow up on it.

Or I'm on ignore. lol.

You aren't with me and somehow I STILL missed the post verifying that ER married MH before and is engaged to him again. The only thing I can think of is that I replied to some posts and didn't find my way back to where I left off reading. Sorry.

Elaine's public comments about Mark were a full week after Dylan went missing and I believe Mark had not been communicating with the rest of the family BEFORE she made those comments, so getting information from him was impossible or minimal. His actions (or inactions) were not making the situation any easier or making himself look better, iMo. The task force had already been formed, the FBI was called in, and LE was already viewing this as a criminal investigation but they were also exporing all options.

My personal opinion about ER's accusations regarding MR is that they did NOT deter LE's investigation or path. She likely expressed those concerns as soon as she met with them, MR likely told LE every problem he's ever had with ER immediately, and honestly most people who read or follow this story have serious questions and concerns about MR anyway... accusations aside.

In ER's ABC interview she also said "I think somebody knows where he is. I don't know if somebody's hiding him or if somebody's already done something horrible to him... The panic is just, you know, Where is he? Is he hurt? Was he able to have turkey at Thanksgiving? You know, just, all the things you want for your children. And the panic sets in because I can't do anything," the mother added.

So again IMO she was laying out all of her concerns and fears for her son who had been missing for over 7 days at the time of this interview, which I think any "normal" parent would be doing... pleading and worrying like heck where their child is and who is responsible.

eta: I apologize for using the word "normal"... I can hear my friends in the psych field lecturing me right now... "There is no "NORMAL"! We don't use that term!" My sincerest apologies to all.

I'm pretty sure that is not the way it works in the US (at least not the first part.) To arrest someone for a DUI, an officer needs some evidence that the person was drunk (breathalyzer mainly but there are other methods) and of course some evidence that they were driving.

I don't think - if you found about someone driving drunk after the fact, like hours or a day later - that the police would be able to take any action. Certainly not from an ex-spouse with a contentious divorce.

If MR physically saw ER driving drunk, he could have called it in and the police could then have tried to track her vehicle down. That's a bit different though. We don't know if MR actually saw ER drive drunk or his kids said something to him or what.

I am legally LOST in both eyes !
I was just being funny. I'm
imagining MR thinks he's all that or
he wouldn't think conquering a cave
woman in the grass would get any
response from ER .

My head is spinning. Help me please.

Elaine was married to Mike

Elaine and Mike got divorced

Elaine married Mark

Elaine and Mark got divorced

Elaine is now engaged to Mike (that's seem strange to be engaged to a man you were once married too......)
hehe!...oh what a web of drama true family dynamics can be.. I laugh only because my hubby's fam is somewhat similar to the above, but oh so much more sordid, scandalous, and all out makes soaps like Young and the Restless/Days of our Lives look like the epitome of perfect functional family units..;)

Maybe, although they were likely very young and it doesn't look like they were married very long. She has said she was with Mark for 20(?) years.
Also, if we are keeping track, maybe Sprinkle in Mark's marriages and divorces...
:)
above BBM because IMO until you add in aka "sprinkle in" Mark's marriages/relationships you don't even have near an accurate picture of what type of family dynamics drama there truly is..

and yes, you bet your bottom dollar that if true that Elaine went back to her first husband after divorcing Mark that IMO Mark didn't like it a bit...resented the hell out of it..and will be damned to just "let it go" and move forward with his life.. IMO as I posted above about hubby's fam similar dynamics I can tell you that his father has caused and created havoc beyond belief for it being forced down his throat that his ex wife left him, moved back in with her ex..and along with dad's kids became a perfect little family unit that he couldn't do a damn thing about..

27 years later and the hatred still exudes from every pore of his body..a hatred that's truly only continued to be fed by HIMSELF AND HIS INABILITY TO LET GO AND MOVE ON.. He didn't give a damn about his sons EXCEPT FOR HOW THE HELL HE TO THIS VERY DAY CAN USE THEM TO HURT HIS EX WIFE/THEIR MOM..

ITS SICK IMO.. ITS PATHETIC..BUT ITS A HELLUVA LOT MORE COMMON THAN WHAT PEOPLE THINK IT IS..

Do I believe that he is capable of harming his kids because of that hatred for his ex wife?.....ABSOLUTELY!

all jmo.

Mick?

What? :waitasec:

Don't worry about me, I'll just hang out over here in my corner ... :seeya:

What we need is a digital cork board! They have a cool cork board/case board on Criminal Minds. Surely we deserve that much. Then maybe I could keep up....with just the family.

Listen, I know it isn't perhaps the RIGHT thing to do, but if my DD went missing just hours after she was in the "care" of my ex, I'd be all over the blame game, freaking out, demanding to know what the he77 happened and asserting that this wouldn't have happened on MY watch.

And I have a pretty good parenting relationship with my ex. But when it comes to my DD, the crazy lady who lives in my head would be busting a move.

Dylan went missing from Dad's house. Of COURSE Mom is gonna blame Dad. Even without the past anger issues, etc.

Doesn't mean MH isn't responsible, just means that even if he weren't, ER would likely see him as the person to blame.

oh so you think it was only a one off event? I thought that two years later he was saying she was often drinking and driving with the kids

why not take out an order to protect the kids when it occured instead of bringing it up two years later? I would have thought that would be the common sense way to deal with it.
