http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S2861899.shtml?cat=504

new article; but not really worth reading...nothing new to report

LE needs to have a press conference and answer some of our questions.

YES. YES YES YES

I notice that several of the articles we read are written by "staff" which is really helpful (sarcasm) when I try contacting the source with questions about erroneous facts and vaguely attributed quotes in their articles.

The Durango Herald has a reporter who appears to be on the story consistently and iirc so does 9News-- both have been excellent from the beginning on Dylan. Maybe I'll send an email thanking them for their coverage and ask if they're able to address some of our questions.

Guys I will get TxJan's timeline moved to a web page where it can viewed by those that can't download it in the morn. My hamster died and my little one & I are crushed. I'm just not up for much tonight. Sorry all.

Hugs ((((vasportsmom))), I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry! We had 3 gerbils (Mom and 2 daughters) that we adored. Family is family no matter the species...it always hurts to lose a loved one.

One thing I can think of is that the accusation was in 2005 (during divorce proceedings) for something that happened in 2003 - when they were still (happily?) married.

I can't see many husbands wanting to "rat" out their wife for drinking and driving to the police. Certainly not husbands that don't want to sleep on the couch.

oh sorry I didn't realise that some people think sleeping on a couch is more important than the childrens safety.

thats kind of mindblowing that people think so little of their childrens safety but are happy to use it against the other parent two years later, thats just bizarre IMO.

I just got direction from the owners.

Elaine Redwine is not sleuthable. HOWEVER, you guys can sleuth to find out if the man Elaine is married to now is the same man she was married to prior to Mark Redwine. That is relevant.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. If in doubt, do not post it. We do not want to expose an innocent man with the same name who has absolutley nothing to do with ER or MR.

No bashing of Elaine or her current husband or prior husband. (Hope that makes sense because this is getting confusing and I feel like I'm talking in circles here. lol) And no sleuthing further than determining if her ex and current husband are the same man.

You just had to go there, didn't ya? ;)

Are you a glutton for punishment? Doesn't this all make your head hurt?

I can only do this is small doses. haha

j/k scorekeeper! I agree it is interesting to figure it out.

p.s. for anyone sleuthing - no posting of names of any of the ex's. Just the #'s and dates if you want.

I don't think we need to get into sleuthing Mike. I will okay ONLY if someone wants to confirm IF he was married again and has children of his own. That's it. Nothing more than that.

here's the posts from earlier concerning the marriages.

hope that helps

Shall we set up a Pintrest board?

Well, since its free and very "in," I think that would be a splendiferous idea.
Now who's bringing the snacks?

I was speculating. Again, we don't know if MR did or did not report ER to the police, because the police can't arrest someone for crimes unless they have evidence that the person committed said crime. Perhaps it works differently in Australia.

I can't believe anyone is criticizing Elaine for kissing her fiancé at a time like this. Good grief she is going though hell right now and needs the comfort. Really, there are more relevant things to worry about in all of this. I really don't think thus woman has anything to do with the disappearance. I just don't see the motivation on her end. JMO

Aside from obvious concerns about past and current behavior by MR, the other theories rattling around in my head are a random stranger abduction by some SO with lucky timing, one other possible scenario I have been thinking of is that if Dylan left MR residence alone early Monday and was walking down the road and was struck and killed by the vehicle - possibly the driver was blinded by by the morning sun or intoxicated by the night before and they panicked and did not want to report the accident and were able to clean up the scene without anyone seeing them. I have thought of that many times as a possibility but I would think there would have been some trace left behind that would have been observed by now. Other than that, I am wondering how closely that they looked at MR work associates, clients etc that may have known Dylan and stopped by his home while Dylan was there and saw it as an opportunity for a kidnapping.
I am still having a hard time getting past the lack of text/ phone activity after 8pm Sunday. As the mom of a 13 year old boy who seems so similar, the only way that would happen us if we took the phone away or if he was incapacitated.

OK, I've made an executive decision here... LOL
I'm NOT going to include the marriages of anyone on my timeline at this time other than MR is married to ER.

That way I don't have to have it out there in cyberspace and get my (_!_) burned.... :-)

What can we sleuth next? I'm game....

Agree. My husband would confront me something like this immediately and it would be my 🤬🤬🤬 sleeping on the couch. I have a hard time knowing if this really happened because I haven't seen anything verified where others concur she was known to cart the kids around drunk or if she had a record of DUI arrests, etc. she has a pretty good job and stable employment history and its hard to do than when you're a drunk, unless you are very high functioning alcoholic.

change my words to 'some people might think sleeping on a ....

but surely if it is true then why didn't he take action to at least protect the boys? police might not have been able to arrest but surely they could have given a warning? I know that can happen here.

and if it was an ongoing problem like his eventual complaint made it seem) then not taking any action at the time to protect the kids is negligent IMO

The car accident could be possible.

But we need LE to tell us if the tracking dogs even picked up Dylan's scent at Dad's house and where did the scent lead them?

And we need to know that Dylan really did make it to Dad's house Sunday night.

Looks like marriage Elaine & Mark - 10/10/1991 (divorce filed not sure sometime in 2005, but issues still ongoing)

Marriage Mike & D - 10/25/1991 (divorce filed 12/23/2009) Two impartial/suppressed names listed so I'm guessing 2 children

We need to get this child home. He already missed Thanksgiving, and Christmas is quickly approaching. I just need to know he is okay...

Marriage Mark & E (a different E name), not sure when married/divorced (thought I saw 1989 as divorce date)

If my spouse is getting drunk and driving with my children in the car, and wouldn't stop because I told/asked him/her to, heck yeah, the children would come first, and LE would be involved.

I seem to think I remember Marc Klaas saying on Tricia's True Crime Show something about dogs following a scent. Let me go back and see if I have that to share. I can't remember off the top of my head. I'll also check my timeline to see if I have anything there about dogs scenting near Dad's house.

Thanks!

hugs vasportsmom, losing a pet is hard, they are such an integral part of the family.

I still miss pets we've lost over the years, cats, guinea pigs and budgies
