Oh, my...I'm showing my age, aren't I???

Is the new term an excel spreadsheet or is that old also??

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I am working on a hieroglyph... As we speak! :D

Elaine was married and divorced to/from the man she is with now before she married Mark.

We were speculating how this might have caused emotions/anger to escalate, etc.

WHAT??? That's really hinky!

Thanks for the reply. What the article does not make clear, though a review of the civil records of that county would clarify, is whether the 2008 ROs were essentially what other jurisdictions call "protective (or protection) orders". It varies across the country. When I read that article, it appeared to me that all of the various restraining orders (and not what I would call "protection orders" which were attached to the divorce case (and became temporary injunctions in that suit), as it would be done in my state. In Texas, a protective order is very different than a restraining order in a divorce. The former is criminally enforceable, while the latter can be enforced civilly. I don't practice family law in Colorado, so I don't know whether they call criminally enforceable protective orders "restraining orders," but they are very different pretty much everywhere else in the country. The article does not make it clear whether the applications were filed under the divorce suit or as separate applications. Thanks for clarifying the dates. I still have no idea why anyone would refer to a criminal case for ER, as even a civil protection order is only quasi-criminal.

Btw, I've been verified with websleuths as an attorney. I'm not sure how to change that on my profile.

The video is the important part, in terms of the dates (IMO).

I've tried to read every post. I watched and rewatched the video. I had my son watch it with me (and he's a heck of a lot smarter than I). The initial request filed by Mr. Redwine appears to be from 2005, referring to an incident in 2003.

If I am incorrect, please help me out here. I am trying my best to understand.

Thank you.

You are incorrect. The PO was in 2005. In 2008 a REPORT was given by MR concerning the "incident" with ER and CR (shown on the screen during the broadcast). IN that report he referred back to the 2005 PO as 2 years ago. PO (no drinking with kids in the car) was issued for 2 years in 2005.

NO criminal records for the ER or MR that I have found ... anywhere ... in any state. FWIW.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Heck well, I showed my age, I knew what a flow chart was. :floorlaugh: Since I know what an excel spreadsheet is, it's probably ancient as well. Gonna have to ask one of the kids what's new. :blushing:

You must be related to my grandparents-in-law... I'm not sure how you and I are related lol but they're the same way. I remember reading somewhere it's not that uncommon for ex's to re-marry later.

I think remarrying once isn't that big of a deal, sometimes people have to move on and learn more about themselves before realizing someone was right for them all along. I did hear about a case (not mine) where the same couple remarried and divorced 4 times in a decade. I figured they just didn't get everything they wanted on their registry the first 3 times.

Members of La Plata County Search & Rescue team using bloodhounds searched for the teen Monday night and Tuesday. The search area included the shoreline around Vallecito Lake, several small subdivisions, county roads, steep wooded hillsides and hiking trails. Many of the homes in the area are seasonal while some are occupied year around.

La Plata County Search and Rescue members searched for Redwine Monday night in areas of County Road 500.

Mark REDWINE lives on CR 500. MONDAY is Nov. 19th ... the day DR was reported missing. Tuesday is Nov. 20th.

Ransom,
Thanks so much! I don't believe I have the one about searching around MR's home/road but believe I have the others. I'll add/revise. Thanks again.

I wished LE would have taken MR to the ER for a blood alcohol level the minute he reported his son disappeared. I'll bet it wouldn't have been zero and MR hadn't drank for hours.

I found that odd too, if you were so concerned about your ex wife drinking and driving with the kids in the car wouldn't you report her to LE when you knew for fact she had been drinking. Taking kids out of school would stop one day but what about all the others if she was really drink driving? IMO it sounds like an excuse

bringing it up two years later it seems odd and very petty.

Yes, but if in fact the judge ordered her not to drive with the kids for two years- that's unusual for he said/she said claims. It could be that she had a DUI from that date and he found out she had fallen off the wagon.

NO I AM NOT CONCLUDING THIS. I'm saying that for a judge to rule 2 years of no driving with the kids, there had to be *some* evidence or reason to believe the claim was accurate. For all we know he reported it then and again now. We don't know. We have one snippet not the whole picture.

From what I understand, she was not ordered to not drive with the kids. She was ordered to not drink AND drive at the same time with the kids.

Thanks.

But didn't we wonder what scent item(s) they were using, since Mark had nothing to give them - Elaine had to get something from their home.

Does this article mean they were trailing Dylan's scent?

TIA

She could drive the kids; no driving with kids after/while she was drinking

I would LOVE to know his blood alcohol level at that time!

I didnt see a court order against her driving. This is what I just copied from Ransom's post upthread:

PO (no drinking with kids in the car) was issued for 2 years in 2005.

To me, that seems kind of pointless. Of course , no drinking with kids in the car. ? :waitasec:

From what I understand, she was not ordered to not drive with the kids. She was ordered to not drink AND drive at the same time with the kids.

Ok. If she was already doing it, why would that stop her?
I was just trying to point out that I don't think it is fair to accuse MR of being "nasty" etc for what seemed like trying to stop ER from possibly having an accident with the kids while she was drink driving. That is JMO though.:twocents:

But we don't know if his allegations are even valid. And it doesnt seem like the judge took them too seriously either, because his 'order' not to drink with kids in the car is kind of a joke. JMO
